One of the commentators (conservative Obvi) the other day said....'well, I've given speeches in the midwest - Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and other places and the people that voted for him approve of his job performance, they think he's doing great, they just care about jobs, they don't understand why the media is doing what they're doing..." and he continued on with some nonsense. I'm missing something....how are their lives already astoundingly better? What has he done that is so great...his job performance? With the crazy tweets, the complete constant disruption....what on Earth do they think the media is to blame? It's laughable....they're reporting the NEWS. They're not MAKING HIM SAY what he says and ACT the way he does. They're just telling you about it...and Hel* don't even watch the news....just read his tweets for yourself and see if you can make any kind of sense out of it. But no offense to anyone, but thanks for just confirming I have no desire whatsoever to go to Kansas, Oklahoma, etc.

Interesting, so they confirmed that Hawkeye is not accurate? For years players have complained about it, and there have been times on TV when I will be watching and think....that ball may have been in/out but there's no way it was by that much. This scene was a scream - they played it on Tennis Channel today...the guy screaming and yelling when the other one double faulted? I don't know either of these players and honestly I don't care if it's unsportsmanlike....if someone acted that way to me in a match I wouldn't shake his hand either. The wave was funny! LOL

Kerber has been awful...but that was a pretty rotten draw for a 1st round match....whoever she was used to be pretty good. I hadn't heard of her in a while... The Jen Brady match vs. Mladenovic - eh. There wasn't anything wrong with Mladenovic I don't think - it's just gamesmanship. She didn't like the way she felt in the 1st set so called for a trainer to give herself a little restee-poo. Then every now and then when you lose a point you grimmace a little and grab your back. Then on the very next point she's running around like an 8 year old on candy crack retrieving balls left and right. Then in the last set when a point didn't go her way after a long game she argues the mark....chair umpire was horrible because she fell for it. Stands there and talks to her for 3 minutes about why she's not changing the call. Keep complaining to see how long you can stand there because she needed another restee-poo. Free timeout. And Brady is standing there waiting to serve her game...will probably tighten her up a bit if I keep this up. Hey wow, look at that, it worked. A little later....wow I need restee poo. YES as luck would have it - another mark close to the line! Bring chair umpire down to check the mark, and stand and talk for another 2 or 3 minutes. That umpire was horrible. I don't understand - I don't know - do they not have the challenge system just because it's on clay? In the above instances the call was correct they said and then Davenport said something like...but I understand why they don't show it on Hawkeye, so. Well - I don't understand it...the chair umpire or player could conceivably call the wrong mark - so why not have Hawkeye in place, make her challenge it, and be done with it.

Unless it's a Slam I usually don't pay attention until the really later rounds....but I'm looking back and daily play and Kerber go her butt kicked?? The Thiem / Isner match will be a snooze fest...I've never really understood Isner. Painful to watch...I'm only 5'7 so I've struggled with serve my whole life....so it's especially irritating to see someone that tall ever hit the net on serve. Crack up every time he double faults.

I loved Roseanne. But I agree with the John Goodman comment - they'd have to just ignore that he died or they would do it without him, and I wouldn't want that. That last season was awful. We also don't know what network is reviving it - (or do we?) because they could do it on CBS. It would be a problem for Sarah Gilbert and Galecki (SP)...if they don't.

I just got Sirius in my car and I love it. In the DC area several years ago 99 HFS shut down, and it was our only Alternative Music station. Alternative Music often becomes mainstream in a year or 2 years. I'm listening to (she will not be mainstream) - K. Flay "Blood in the Cut". "Black Wave". Anything K. Flay but it's tough. But I absolutely love Cage the Elephant "Cold Cold Cold". Anything by the "Revivalists"....song I wish I knew you when I was young...they are a REAL band. And I love that they have a Sax. Protesters in DC just blocked DeVos from getting into a public school where she was going for a meeting with administrators. They apparently weren't with the teacher's union, because they were also there for the meeting - and were also protesting with signs but the other group who blocked her entrance weren't part of their group. She eventually got in through another door. I'm sure it will be viral because someone got it....

CNN had part of the meeting of him and the major Airline CEO's (the beginning) and it's at the point I don't even know what Universe the man is living in. He started off by saying he understood how tough they have it, and with the constraints they're under, and what a hard job they have....our airports used to be the best in the world, and now they're the worst, and our rail and roads are the worst, and it's just a disaster but he is going to fix everything. ????? I am completely lost. Has the man not traveled to other countries at all? We're the WORST at everything, LOLLLL. Cracks me up. And how do the CEO's have such a hard job? What was really scary is during that little rant he mentioned all of the "fake news" several times but then said how they side with the "Opposition". "The Opposition Party". Wait for that to become the latest marketing/talking point to bad mouth Democrats and give them the brand of the "bad" party the way they've done for years by basically claiming you can only be Patriotic or love America if you're Republican. That was his whole strategy to appeal to the same old masses....America must never have been great because he wanted to "make America great again". We must have always sucked before. But this business of...at a PRAYER breakfast to call the other party "the Opposition".....guess what - whe he gives a shi* about uniting the country, then I will. He does and says nothing to make me want to support him and I won't. Right now, it's too far gone for me ever to listen to him. And he doesn't do anything to temper it either....just doesn't care. So I don't. And I guess the Right thinks we lose our memory or something. Because I was thinking back about when Obama signed a couple of Executive Orders (and he signed less than any 2 term President in like...a Century)....but the Republicans at the time...many of them parrotted after each other on the News every chance they got....that Obama was acting like a CZAR! So that it would sound more evil/bad to compare him to a Russian. Or I guess no one remembers the emails and crazy articles flying around after Obama was elected the first time about the 25 or 50 reasons or whatever it was - why Obama is actually the ANTICHRIST! Sent by all the Christian zealots day after day for awhile....(of which party you know they were with)... Well, which President acts more like it now? Haven't seen any apocolyptic emails after this troll was elected....strange. Now I just sit and laugh at them because they won't even say Trump is acting like a King....by trying to force/ramrod whatever and whoever he wants in there. And boy, in his instance and given his affinity for Putin (let's not kid ourselves) - Czar would be far more appropriate a term right now for him than it ever was for other Presidents.

I am not that active on twitter...but went and read the thread and honestly I couldn't understand what was going on. At all. I don't want to say what I'm thinking but he sounded...............and I re-read twice.

A friend of mine is still so sweet...she's honestly worried about animals, environment...the world as a whole. She posts articles and donation requests and causes/articles/whatever about the endangered Elephants, Gorillas, fish....whatever. God Bless her. I messaged her today and said....honey, I can't care about any of your endangered species or environment right now. We're all going to be dead - because of a man whose favorite color in the crayon box is burnt Orange mixed with Salmon. Who has more money than God but has bad hair and can't find money to fix his gnarly teeth. Seriously - all of the animal and environment-saving is important but there are bigger fish to fry right now...give up the Vegan thing/save the Earth thing, and help save us all first....you can't save the environment or the animals if you're not here.

I am near DC in NOVA but didn't march today but the turnout was apparently really really high. In New York I have friends that marched and she and her friends had the best signs...I don't know if it was a common/marketing/spread around thing but one in her group had a sign that was huge and said, "We're Gonna Hit Trump in his Putin!" I thought it was FABULOUS! LOLLLLL. She's a pageant girl from Virginia now living in NYC! :-)

Weird, but me too. On The View I was watching one day when they were arguing about everything and Joy Behar said....I tell ya what, I'll take George and Lara back now....bring 'em on. I thought....yep. Me too. :-( I never felt like I was unsafe or a ticking time bomb was running the country.

And don't be depressed or deterred, when He Who Shall Not Be Named Tweets on Sunday or Monday that you don't count, you don't matter, he expected more of you to show up, more people were at his Inauguration than showed up to protest, etc. etc. Just remember - about 100,000 to 200,000 people who showed up for his Inauguration likely don't go to DC very much from the Suburbs, and they parked Illegally...so they were illegal and they weren't really there, and don't count. We can play by his rules now. :-)
