I just can't believe how low people will go. The Republicans' entire argument is that "well, he wasn't successful so he didn't do anything wrong." Let me clue you in - when Constitutional law people say - the framers said this would happen. That other governments would jump at the chance to mess with our free elections - it's been said. And that's what he did. He went and SOUGHT it out. But their argument is - well, he wasn't successful, so there's nothing wrong here! Well let me tell ya something sweeties - is there not such a thing as Attempted Murder? They weren't successful, but they TRIED it. He MADE the ask. Aside from everything else shady that family is doing. Nixon TRIED to cover up - he wasn't successful - but he was impeached because it was the INTENT and in this case it's the ASK. He DID it. Doesn't matter whether he was successful at getting what he wanted. He's a damned crook and it's treason. Meanwhile, for him and a bunch of old white male Republicans to just yell and yell and yell with their white privilege makes me sick - you spent years grilling Hillary over an EMAIL SERVER. And you DARE to call THIS a witch hunt? And he's turned over probably 1/8 of what she had to. He just keeps getting away with it, and that's why he has the attitude he does - he's above the law. The Repubs wanted Clinton impeached because he got his wang serviced. But going to a foreign government to influence our elections is a great idea. They're sick. He is disgusting. And I say all the time - whatever that personality is - it's OJ Simpson too. They cannot stay out of the news - they're obsessed with being in the news or getting up in it. And if nothing is there, they'll create it. George Zimmerman is the stuff that you can't scrape off or hose out of the bottom of your trashcan - it just sticks around and cannot be cleaned nor fixed.

People won't like this - but B&B killed both ATWT and Guiding Light. B&B following Y&R in alot of the parts of the country, and lost viewers and passed on horrible lead-ins at that time to ATWT and GL. Capitol Sandwiched between ATWT and GL worked better because people would leave that half-hour alone. They'd leave the TV on. B&B wasn't strong enough to sustain Y&R's ratings and pass on a good lead-in to ATWT, and it went downhill from there to GL. If it were primetime, B&B would have been cancelled for not holding a lead-in. And the show of B&B was not worthy of being after Y&R. And it's still true today. B&B generally goes the way of Y&R. If Y&R goes down, so does B&B. It's been that way for years. Just this year it "looks" like B&B is "catching" Y&R. No they're not. They're only catching Y&R because they're tanking and losing viewers. B&B isn't "gaining momentum" as the press releases said this summer. They are catching Y&R because Y&R is tanking.

God I made the mistake of asking what happened to Beavis this week. It disappears and reappears like a frekin' fairy only he's a monster. Then on Face the Nation here in DC there he was. Kellyanne Conway. Waxing poetic about how smart they are. So gross. You're an ugly blonde white woman who isn't very smart and spread your legs on the Oval Office Couch for all the world to see. I'm DC and it's tiring to see a bunch of white "Men" yell at people they're questioning and not let them speak. There are a lot of angry white men who are Republicans, and now it's clear - they'll defend this ahole of a President. And honestly I don't understand. Keep your decorum and ask the damned question. l am not for free tuition - a tax has to come in somewhere and I already pay taxes for people to go to school K-12, and I don't have kids. I'm not going to support more taxes, or relieving bank loans...I paid my way through and so can everyone else. I didn't go to my "dream school" and kids today are all about having everything - guess what, you might not get everything you want or if you do then pay for it. I went to a Community College for 2 years with verification my credits would transfer and then transferred in to a University. Wasn't the one I would have liked but I graduated with a BS and owed no money. So they need to learn you may not always get your "dream everything'...that''s life.

I agree re: Roger. He's still advancing deep into draws and is still competitive. I was talking with a friend who follows even more closely than I do and he thought the same thing - I think Tsitsipas, Thiem, Zverev are likely the heirs. Medvedev is like watchiing paint dry for me. Kyrgios I think is going to be the player that never reaches potential...I don't know what it is with him...I don't care for him but he has more potential but is such a hothead. When you get into a fight with the chair umpire over wanting a white towel that you shoulda brought yourself is.....alottttttt.

Ugh. Pre-emptions and Tennis channel is running re-runs. The women's year end finals were terrible...people retiring various times. And I just don't think Ash Barty is all that. Meanwhile how have I missed the hotness that is Belinda Bencic's boyfriend? He is tasty.

The Sacramento/San Francisco/northern California CBS I heard cut Guiding Light in the 90's. I remember them doing a location shoot at one point where one of the couples traveled there on a short storyline to try and gain an audience...I think it was already too far gone there and it didn't work.

I'm Northern Virginia. He is so stupid. LOLLLLLL. I'm actually hoping for the blue wave in this election - I think it's going to happen. While I'm in Northern VA I see signs for Democratic candidates in my neighbors' yards unlike I've ever seen. I'm usually the only one with signs in my yard...a ton of people have them in my hood this election. I think we're going to see major turnover from R to D at the local level this year. This is a little silly but I'm watching a match on the Tennis Channel and the ball people are using butterfly nets to retrieve if it's still bouncing. Cute and somewhat brilliant. Oh wait...it looks like they're tennis racquets strung like butterfly nets. Very cute... Updated, it's the Vienna tournament. Not seen this butterfly net retrieving thing before...

Yesterday I was listening to Roberta Flack singing "Hold on to Love" - I was trying to remember - did they ever have her on the show, or did they ever use her vocal version during the opening credits? I only see the regular version - and I remember I think them using Hamp's sax version once or twice?

A friend of mine said his shoulder was iffy? I mean, if that's the case (is it?) - I save my body. He doesn't need the money. I quit playing volleyball after 4 knee surgeries (1 ACL replacement, and 3 other cart trims) - and I sure didn't make any money at it. I quit because my ortho said - take up putt putt golf or biking or something or you won't be walking at 40. Was it because of injury or why are people angry?

Good grief - both Keys and Stephens are now losing to people they should not be losing to. For both it's like their careers are going downhill fast. It's painful to watch. Aren't players responsible for bringing their own equipment? Bring your own damned towel if you don't like the tournament towel. Seriously? And you could hear all the f-bombs and it took the chair awhile to give him a violation. If Serena acted like that..............and they just let him get away with it.
