I'm near Reston. There are stories on the news every night from Bethesda, College Park, all over the beltway fringes of people getting hit and killed right on the sidewalk and these people are stepping off the curb.

And the little families waving flags, not only not wearing masks, they keep stepping off the curb on the edge of traffic. They're crazy. Absolutely crazy.

Families outside of Walter Reed (really it's the Naval Hospital) in Bethesda - waving flags - none wearing masks. They are so stupid.

Yep. I had an aunt and an uncle a couple of years ago - they don't live near me, but we got together with family at the beach for a reunion. The first thing they asked when we had the TV on in the main area of the beach house..."What channel is Fox News!? That's all we really watch!" My sisters looked for them and said, we don't really watch FOX. And they said, Oh, that's all we really watch, it's the only real news. You guys don't watch FOX News? I walked right out to the pool and said "No." as I did it. The FOX people have convinced themselves of fairytales and bad news. Every other news outlet reports differently and they want FOX. Al Jazeera might be more accurate.

Me too. And 7 to 10 points of a lead in polls mean nothing. Hillary had more than 2 or 3 million votes and didn't win the Presidency. I keep saying re: Biden - I wouldn't spend any more time in Florida or Texas. Spend time in Michigan, Ohio, and PA. I don't trust FL as being a toss-up for one second, nor Texas. National polls mean nothing, State polls may and I don't even trust those either.

I think when he recovers they're going to use the pictures that they'll be taking and have a nice "God Bless the USA" commercials talking about how he BEAT the virus - we need someone STRONG blah blah blah.

Marine One sure has been sitting there awhile. Thus far they're only showing from the far side, and the door to the WH is blocked from view. They said he would be walking out to Marine One. So it's either serious, and he comes out on a gurney or wheelchair, or it's a photo op and they're getting cameras in place so that he can smile and wave for the photo op.

Y'all - my friend, a former Miss America lives outside of Fredericksburg here in Virginia and she sent me a video of her driving by a Park n' Ride with a bunch of people with flags, and I was like, what is that? She said prayer vigil...there are plans for tons of them. And the people with flag poles in their yards have lowered the flag to half-staff...in her development she asked someone what it was for...and they said everyone in the development is being asked to lower their flag until he recovers. THEY ARE CRAZY. I told her...stop at one of the vigils and ask what they're praying about. Wasn't it all fake news, and the whole pandemic was a hoax? That's what your boy said remember? So now you've decided it's real? Unbelievable. When she asked the guy at the (what she calls) "The Hate Gate Shack", and he told her "half staff until he recovers." She said "that's against the rules and code of the Flag.Only the President, and State Governors and the Mayor of DC can order half-staff". He said well it was half-staff last week for Ruth Bader Ginsburg". She said, yeah because the President must have agreed to it, and news flash, she was dead. You don't do it for people who are alive.

I think that's exactly what's going to happen. He'll just say it was like having a cold and it's fake news. Interestingly I heard someone on CNN say what I think we all suspected...what was that trip to Walter Reed REALLY about? Just a normal checkup the WH said...I never believed that.

He's done crazy things all along, I still think it's a stunt. Either way I'd love to see him in jail for tax evasion after this with no access to CVS makeup. And they could do virtual debates but I hope they don't. But if they do they can use the mute button to shut him up when his turn is over.

I spend a lot of time around Rehoboth Beach and Milford, DE and he's a huge hometown success story and breaks the mold. He is so awesome. I don't like country music, growing up in very rural Virginia, my family were huge Country music fans and my Granny used to talk about spending time on weekend nights at the Carter fold where they played in a barn. I grew up listening and hating Country music but Jimmie is changing things. Love him.

I never even knew there were different balls for different surfaces. I remember when Wimbledon used white balls and got rid of them because when the grass stained them they blended in with the court. Oh, and I meant to say my post above - the interview with Patty Smyth and John McEnroe was really interesting. They did "He said She Said" and asked them question and it was very surprising to me. They asked who was the bigger hot head. Patty pointed at herself and John pointed at her without looking over. She said he is not the person you saw on the Tennis court. Who cries during a sad movie? Patty pointed at herself and John pointed at her but Patty said, but he does cry on rare occasions during a movie. After a fight, who is most likely to initiate 'making up'. Patty pointed at John and he pointed to himself. He said I just don't like fighting and our relationship is more important than an argument. I was very surprised. He said we're empty nesters now and we're all we've got day to day.

Patty Smyth and John McEnroe were on Today yesterday because she released a new album. At the end of their interview they briefly talked Tennis and John said he was picking Joker.

And Osucka wins. I'm about as Japanese as she is. I'm so over her as a steeplechase horse jumps a wall I am just so over her. And they act like she's Black and Japanese. Crazed fans like that have no bottom. A rule is a rule, and it was a careless thing to do. I had a girl punch me in the throat when I was in High School for no reason. I was friends with her. It took the air out of me and I had trouble breathing for a couple of hours, and it hurt for a week. It's not funny and when I saw it happen to the lines woman I could tell she was having the same reaction I did.

I don't want to quote the Rock post because the pictures take up alot of space, but Chris Cuomo had it and has said it was the battle of his life. These are 2 FIT men. Chris said he had a 101 to 102 degree fever for 17 days, and appeared on TV via Internet and was sweating - hair wringing wet. People don't understand, this virus is a wildcard. These are 2 extrodinarily fit men who I am sure eat very well and healthier than I do. It's scary. And it's scary how people just discount it, don't wear masks, go to large events, go to their Trump rallies...
