I saw bits and pieces of the Rybakina and Ostapenko match....funny. Nothin's changed since the last time I saw Ostapenko. Complaining about every call practically...and I know it's happened before but someone (was that Stubbs?) mentioned, even with the automated line calls she still says it's incorrect.

My gym (a very expensive one) - basically ditched all of their basketball courts - indoor - very nice - 3 of them. for 6 or 9 pickleball courts instead, and they are always busy. I don't mean to be mean, but.....well, maybe I do. And I say this from experience. I come from a gigantic gaggle of volleyball and tennis players as friends. Played volleyball at the Open level for many years. Well, as we've aged....... All of them now play pickleball. It's another cult activity like volleyball was. I'm being totally honest. They are ATE UP with it as we country folk would say. And I mean ATE 8 UP with it. So - again not to be mean, but it's another sport for fat people to think they're workin' out. So many of the people at the gym, you can tell - no athletic ability whatsoever in the case of my gym - so they're not going to be great players. But they have the best time from what I see - and they come out talking about what a GREAT workout that was! And they stood there swinging a paddle for about 30 minutes due to the court time booking. There's not a ton of running because of the space, honestly. And it's not like you're jumping to the moon like you would in volleyball. I think it's a farce. But switch gears back to my competitive friends, and they're ALL up in the $200 and $300 pickleball paddles. I laugh at them and have made my feelings known. Ok y'all. It's not a better paddle. It's not versitile. It's not more "meneuverable". It's not more more more more BETTER because of all the kevlar in it. What are you going to do, hit someone with it? That's why it's $300 and is BUILT TO LAST!?? Um, WHAT? It's a paddle y'all. And should cost about $20. And to prove it, tell me the rules, what do I do? Well, I played with all of my pickleball fanatic friends who are 8 UP with it, and completely kicked some of their asses. 2 of them have their Pickleball Pro card. Whatever that means. No, I'm not joking, they're certified. All that to say - it'll be popular because everyone can think they're athletic. And it's not that great, but that's just me.

Yep almost kind of the same thing....crazy.

I haven't seen much of it, but I'm a huge Collins fan - she's had a terrible draw. LOL. She's had probably 2 of the best unseeded players in the draw - at least one of them was capable of winning the whole thing. And her prize for a 1:00AM finish last night, is meeting Rybakina (SP?) tonight. Weird scheduling - played her first round Sunday. Then 2 days off???? Then 2nd round yesterday with a third round today? This is going to end it for her, but she played really well her first two matches.

wow. I didn't know Jeanne passed....how terrible. I played Tennis just last year at the Evert Center in Ft. Lauderdale (I honestly don't know if it's still called that). But her picture was on the wall and I didn't even know.

Oh I didn't plan on comparing them at all - but Scott was also hot back in the day, and was his own bad boy as well. I liked both of them too.

Hopefully they get it together because if not, that child will have more issues than a Vogue archive. But, she does have a slew of tennis Moms to lean on for advice, like Serena, Lindsay, Kim Clijsters, tons of others....

I mean - it's the AO. I hate to be one of those droning people, but. There's a reason Margaret Court won so many. Not everyone has EVER gone down there to play. Ever. Year in and year out, someone or several BIG players are not there. In Court's era, literally no one was there in a lot of years. It's probably the most under-attended Slam by the players themselves and always has been. In recent years, I don't know what it is...it's almost like when the Slams are over in September (US Open), players just don't recover after the year end championships, then a Holiday break, etc.

Ahhh. So this is their "out". All that has to happen is some of the wonky votes for 'other' candidates....is vote "present" and they'll have a speaker. The ones who only vote "present" can defend themselves that they did the 'right thing' with their conscience by not supporting the nominee, but he gets confirmed by those who did vote for him. And they'll get slammed for not 'supporting' the choice for the rest of their careers, but everyone kind of 'wins' for them if they look at it in twisted fashion. Or ignore what I said they'd do, and they'll do this. Negotiating with a bunch of Devils, just different devils than before.

Well. Victoria Spartz should consider it, no one else would. She's Ukranian for God sake. I have no idea how you could be, and be Republican. But she is. You'd think by now she'd have figured out the Republicans only like her because she's white and foreign so she's naturally a good poster child. But regardless of what horse the remaining Republicans choose to ride, they fully supported Da Dump and he loves some Russia.

The creepy factor though. Does he even know or care that she hates him actually? That's how deplorable these people are. They have no moral bottom. We've all said it. For all of the *itching by Republicans about Hillary and her "lies" and the hearings and ALL of the things, her biggest mistake was she told the honest ugly truth about them. They are deplorable. And they prove it over and over and over and have no idea that they're -- proving it.

The GOP isn't so grand at this point and they're just repeatedly going down like a whore in Vegas. I just don't even know what to say, so I'll say that. lollll.

The Republican party does love it. That's exactly it. They love that they get all the white supremacist dregs votes. They're ALLLLLL theirs. They own them and they love it. And they get away with it 24/7 and they LOVE it. They LOVE those votes because they couldn't get in there otherwise - so they pander to the twisted, hateful mass of cancer that it is.

I'd like to believe that but I have no faith. People really are stupid. They (and there are still millions upon millions of Trumpers) - will believe anything. Lies, fantasy, all of it. Most of the people voting Republican at this point - this is an insult to them, and I really don't care - but they've lived off the uneducated and stupid for so long - all they know is that they won the House. If they even understand that much. And so they do not understand why they do not have a Speaker, and think it's the Democrats' fault. Why? Because all they see are the vote numbers and totals coming up. And they see a Democrat right there in the vote and so they think it's their fault for not getting behind one of the other two. They do not even notice or understand there are 2 candidates that their own party is fighting over. They really are that stupid, it's time to face it. This will be twisted into being the Democrats' fault for them not being able to get behind one or the other. It does not matter what is true or factual. They'll believe what they want.

I wish there were thumbs ups on here but I still wouldn't use it because it reminds me of you-know-who of a certain hue of orange. Maybe a "like" button.

It's a shame it could never happen these days, but how fabulous it would be for some of the Jordan people or somehow the Mc people to flip to Democrat and really screw their party. Just to say "I've had ENOUGH" and vote Democrat. To finally just get SICK of the pro-trump people hanging on, sick of their own McCarthy-ist loyalties, and just say - screw both of you....just put someone in there to do this job....and since we couldn't get it together, I'm voting for the Democrat. I'm staying Republican, but I'm PROVING I can be Bi-partisan right here and now and I don't want ANYONE claiming I am not - here, I'm a Republican voting for the Democrat. It would unfortunately be career ending and that's sad.

Yep. Turn 53 later this month and it’s really hitting home that I’m the youngest of my siblings and we do not walk for long on this Earth - and I will be alone if things go as they go. My brother is 20 years older than me - almost to the day as our birthdays are both January. 3 so steps, then me. My closest sister is about 8 years older than me. So I need to figure out what being mostly alone looks like.

I understand the need for a villain but there’s just no redeeming qualities and the redemption will just be a small contrived plot point - ie gave somebody CPR, gave em the Heimlich, kept them from falling off a cliff, or shoved them off the cliff then saved them etc. The problem with Sheila is that at this point the dialogue can’t help but be repetitive. ”we have some bad news, Sheila escaped!” (Wow really? I tuned in about 1:50 and I saw all I needed to see. Is Sheila really rich and only a few people know? What or how or why would anyone align themselves with her....for WHAT? She's not the most beautiful piece anyone ever saw. She never has a pot to piss in basically. What is the draw? What does she offer? There just comes a point where it's just so silly and dumb. We're about 2 years past that. I was even willing to forgive the missing toe, being that I have one too....(not from a bear but at the hands of a very evil Sears Craftsman mower when I was 6)...but it's just not enough y'all. LOLLL. At the end I thought - why doesn't Steffy just call the bluff and say - is that the BEST you've GOT? And leave. Make your move later. Your off the hinges mother is still better than those 2, and if you love Finn, then that's your choice right there. Got a gun? Shoot Sheila dead right in front of Bill. It was self defense and then it would be your word, and Finn's word against Bill as to what happened. And what's he going to look like? A truthful person? Either/or - then threaten Bill - you want your word against OUR WORDS? We killed her in self defense....and your defense will be what -- that you were just hanging out with her? Again, just like with Mom - you either go along with us, or we hang you out to dry by assisting her. Bill was willing WITH a wanted criminal. Done.

Because you don't need to know much more. He's always been despicable for the most part. Dude date raped Hope, then stalked her for months. Years? Seems like years, was probably one year. Used his son repeatedly - impersonating his own son with silly pictures to present to Hope of their "family", dressing up a doll to look like her....and when you complain that it was yet another lame 'brain tumor' story to try and get him off the hook/redeem him....THEN he does more CRAZY shi*.....dude has a problem with impersonating people. For whatever reason a lot of fans are foaming at the mouth for him to be redeemed - I don't watch that often but - yeah, nice to look at. But you have some serious Luke Spencer/Todd Manning stuff goin' on here. I guess it proves that women and gay men love a rapist. LOL. I mean, what else do you say? Yes, it's fiction, but it's also twisted.

That was the other thing I noticed. One day and Christmas Independent Brooke Barbie and Christmas Independent Taylor Barbie are likely already sold out after 1 day on sale. It won’t even be one week and all of LA will be fighting over Ridge again. So ridiculous.

I keep meaning to ask - I feel like on the occasions I happen to catch a minute of the show - Liam is usually wearing a suit. Almost always. Why. ??? Does he still work (where - at Spencer?)…he’s always wearing a suit and it’s stodgy.
