  1. That's what I figured. Plus, it puts more pressure on me to get the episodes out on time!!! By the way, I LOVE your siggy. Honestly, the best thing that could come from 'RTSB' would be enough people talking about 'SB' and interested in it again that Soapnet takes notice & re-airs it. It's a stretch, but we can wish, right? WOW! That's SO cool of you to say- thank you so much! You're obviously a dedicated fan to catch up on 34 episodes in 6 days! Look forward to hearing from you now that you're all caught up!
  2. Everything on the right side of the screen is contained in a content block- users, months, recent comments, cast list, etc...... So the schedule will now be on the right side of the screen at all times, under the cast list. Look for the change later tonight when I post the schedule.
  3. That's what we at SONBC would like to know- this week, on "Return To Santa Barbara", Sophia, the long-suffering matriarch of the Capwell clan was killed off! But at the end of Saturday's episode, viewers saw Sophia alive and awake(!) on a plane with Dr. Edmund Lavery. So just what's going on here? To get to the bottom of it, SONBC took the opportunity to sit down and chat with the creator and exec producer of 'RTSB', juniorz1. SONBC: Welcome. juniorz1: Thanks for having me. SONBC: Let's get down to business- what's up with Sophia? Is that the real Sophia we saw on Saturday? juniorz1: Yes, that's our Sophia, alive and well on the plane with Edmund. A LOT will be explained on Monday this week- through flashbacks, we'll learn exactly how Edmund made it appear that Sophia was dead. We'll also learn more about his past with CC and the real reason for his hatred of the man. Pay attention. There's some foreshadowing of what's in store for Sophia. SONBC: Where are they heading? juniorz1: Back to London. Remember our previous interview where I said the action would be split between Santa Barbara and London? This is the beginning of that. SONBC: Interesting. I do recall you saying that, now that you mention it.... juniorz1: The locations I've been mentioning in 'RTSB' may play into storylines down the road, as you'll soon find out. SONBC: So in the meantime, Sophia's family thinks she's dead..... juniorz1: Yes, and there still is a chance she could die. Medically, she still needs the treatment from Edmund if she's going to live without the aneurism. SONBC: True. Any tidbits on what's going on with the Julia/Mason/Mary triangle? juniorz1: Obviously, that's going to play for a while and will take some time to resolve. These are two very different women and two very different relationships for Mason. For the first time, they are coming in conflict. It's a situation Mason never dreamt he'd be in.........nor Julia, for that matter. The story Mary's telling him about the baby isn't washing, though. So much of it doesn't make sense- ESPECIALLY the fact that Mark McCormick is alive and well. They'll be on the hunt for him to get some answers. Mason's going to be asking a lot of Julia and she's really going to be tested as far as how much she can take. She may surprise herself. SONBC: What else can we expect to see? juniorz1: This week kicked off a very big storyline- the umbrella tale that I talked about early on when 'RTSB' started. This coming week, Ashton Lavery will be introduced and revealed as Kelly's new husband! Ashton will play a key role in this story as everything unfolds. There will come a point where a few MAJOR events have happened, one story seemingly unrelated to the next. But just wait- this story is going to have a ripple effect that will touch much of the cast. SONBC: How about Cruz & Eden? We know you're a big A & Marcy fan, yet surprisingly, Cruz & Eden have taken a back seat for much of the series. juniorz1: Hey, at least they're happy, right? So far, the couples that are heavily featured are in complete and utter turmoil, are you wishing that on my Eden & Cruz too? SONBC: I see your point. I'm kind of afraid to ask now. juniorz1: Too bad because you already did. Cruz & Eden have some stuff coming up with the Ramirez family. It's going to be another one of those stories where everything is not what it seems. It's going to start off one way and head into a completely different stratosphere from where it seemed it would go. That story will hit the frontburner shortly and will lead to a huge mystery mining the rich history of Cruz & Eden. So don't be jealous Mason/Julia & CC/Sophia fans- I'm not playing favorites & Cruz/Eden will be just as tortured as the others, probably even more so. SONBC: That's a scary thought. I can't imagine what could be worse than what's happened to CC & Sophia. juniorz1: Unfortunately for you (and them), I have. SONBC: We're just about out of time. Anything else you care to add? juniorz1: Just a couple of quick things. First, thanks to everyone who has read it and commented on it, whether it be on SON, or through message groups or other Santa Barbara message boards (shouts to CC & Sophia group on Yahoo, lane-davies.com, and my friends on the Cruz2Eden board!). your thoughts & comments mean a lot. 'RTSB' jumped back to #1 in the SONBC ratings again this week with nearly 900 views- thanks all of you for your continued interest and support! Also, today, I'll be adding a new content block on the right of the screen, where the weekly schedule will be posted. The block will be updated every Sunday. And don't miss Episode 35 on Monday! See you there!
  4. Look for a News Item to be released tomorrow or Monday which will basically be an interview about this storyline, and touch on some others as well. As for the end of today's episode, some things will be explained in flashbacks on Monday.
  5. http://santabarbara-online.com/GeneriqueDebutUS.rm (EXT: The Capwell Mansion) ----Kelly walks down the stairs and stops in the foyer when she sees something she never has before: her father, sitting at the dining room table, crying with the newspaper in front of him. She quietly walks up to him and gently kisses him on the cheek. "That's a beautiful picture Warren used....." "There isn't a photograph of your mother where she didn't look beautiful. She represented everything that was good and right in this world- that kind of beauty you cannot hide." Kelly puts her arm around her father and takes the seat next to him as he continues. "They cremated her you know. It's how she wanted it. She always told me she never understood why on earth someone would want their dead body on display for all to see when they passed........................Why, why did it have to be your mother? She didn't deserve it, and to know that her brain completely shut down...........Why wouldn't she told me she was sick? I could have done something, helped her...." "Don't beat yourself up daddy. There's nothing that you or anyone else could've done- you heard Ben & Mary- mama had an aneurism. And it burst. It was her time, dad. It was her time to go...." "I don't believe that- she had so much in her, so much left to offer....." CC mentions that over 2000 people attended the public memorial services the previous day. He says that today's services are for friends and family only. Kelly asks him about Sophia's sister, Elizabeth. CC tells her that it's unlikely that she'll be attending the funeral. Kelly says that Ted filled her in some on what went on with Elizabeth, Sophia, and Capwell Enterprises. Kelly asks why they hate each other so much and CC explains that it's about things that happened a lifetime ago, much of it having to do with their father. Kelly shrugs and wonders why, if Elizabeth hates Sophia so much, would she bail out her husband's company from a takeover attempt? (EXT: Capwell Enterprises) ----Kathleen pops into Elizabeth's office and asks if she can have the rest of the day off to attend Sophia's memorial service. Elizabeth tells her that it's fine and Kathleen wonders if she'll be going as well. Elizabeth claims that somebody has to be at the office today, since everybody else is out. "But she's your sister. You're not going to go to her funeral?" "No, I'm not. Now if there's nothing else.....I have a ton of things to do today...." Kathleen leaves, as Gina approaches. Gina is dumbfounded that Elizabeth wasn't even going to the funeral and asks why. Elizabeth tells Gina that it's certainly none of her business, turning the tables and asking if she'll be attending. "Actually, I am. I have a son by CC- Channing IV, and he's devastated by his step-grandmother's death." "YOU? You're Channing IV's mother? You and CC?" "Yes......well, sort of. It's a long story." Elizabeth is taken off guard and angered by this. She informs Gina that she'd rather not hear the details of it and that she needs to get back to work. Gina persists with the questioning of Elizabeth about Sophia, saying that the shrew must have done something horrible for Elizabeth not even to attend her funeral. Elizabeth says she's had quite enough of her for one day, as she walks her to the door. Gina stops cold right at the doorway and turns around. "Just one thing- My son, when I spoke about him, you acted as though you'd recognized the name.....seen it before somewhere. Has CC talked about him before?" "He has. He's told me about all of his children, including the ones not with my sister....." "You never asked who his mother was? Kind of odd that it wouldn't be mentioned, since he told you Channing IV wasn't Sophia's son...." "No, I didn't ask. Satisfied? Now good-bye Gina" she says, slamming the door on her face. Gina stands outside the door, with a suspicious look on her face...... (EXT: Mason & Julia's House) ----Mason finishes getting ready and comes downstairs, where Julia is waiting alone for him. He asks where Samantha is and she tells him that she went on ahead with Rafe and Adriana. Julia says that she's glad that he's been home the past couple of nights, but with everything going on, they still haven't had a chance to talk. "We will Julia, I promise you that...." "How about now?" "With everything going on with the funeral today and my family.....can't it wait one more day..." "No, Mason, it can't...." She tells him that it was devastating for her to see him with Mary in the Capwell Hotel lobby the day after Christmas, after he didn't so much as call for the holiday. She says that she knows that she wasn't honest with him about Mary and for that, she's sorry. But that it didn't give him license to fly off the handle, drinking, getting arrested, and disappearing for the holidays in subsequent order. Julia then asks him point blank if he's in love with Mary. Mason stands there silent and as he begins to speak, someone knocks at the door. Julia goes to answer and sees Pamela standing there, in her black dress & veil. She turns to Mason and says he'd better do something. "What? I should be there to pay my respects. I may not have liked Sophia, hated her even. But she raised my son...." Mason quietly says she'd better not plan on making a scene because he's not having it. Pamela insists she'll be on her best behavior, she'll come late, sit in the back, and even keep her veil down if it helps the family. Julia is skeptical about Pamela's motives, eyeing her as she wraps Mason around her finger.... (EXT: Chapel) ----CC arrives with Kelly and sees that Eden, Cruz, Ted, Angela, Adriana, Samantha and Rafe are already there and have been greeting people as they arrived. CC apologizes for not being there sooner but Eden tells him they understand. Eden asks if he's sure that he's up for giving the eulogy and he insists he'll be fine, saying that he owes it to his wife. Santana and Rosa arrive to pay their respects, as people begin filing in. CC, Eden and Ted greet people as they arrive, while Cruz, Angela, and Adriana seat them. CC is thrilled when he sees little Channing running up to him to give him a hug. CC picks his boy up and squeezes him tight, admiring how handsome he looks in his suit. Gina approaches him, while Keith and Lily go and get their seats. "Thanks for bringing him Gina." "I thought he should be here, he's old enough now. I thought it'd help a little....." "It did. Very much. Thank you." "Of course. And CC........I'm sorry about Sophia." "Thank you." They bask in the rare moment between the two of them before Channing IV takes Gina to her seat. The Lockridges arrive and Lionel thanks CC again for allowing him to see Sophia, with Augusta standing there listening. Augusta excuses herself when she sees Mary arriving across the way. "Well, Mary Duvall, welcome back from the dead!" "Hello Augusta." "It's kind of ironic, in a sad way, that you came back to life as Sophia lost hers." "That's a sick thing to say." "No more sick than letting people think you're dead for 20 years, only to re-appear in their lives as if nothing's happened." "I'm not having this conversation with you." Mary begins to walk away but Augusta grabs her by the arm. "You stay away from my sister's husband. You chose to let Mason think you were dead and you should live with the consequences. Julia has built a life with Mason and while I may not think highly of him, she loves him. They have something you cannot touch- a nineteen year passionate, however tumultuous, relationship that includes a daughter that you weren't around for. My sister will not pay the price for your foolish choices...." "I don't intend for anyone to pay any price Augusta. If you'll excuse me- I'm going to pay my respects to the family." ---Gina takes her seat by Keith and Lily. She mentions to Keith that Elizabeth isn't even coming to the funeral which she finds peculiar. She also says that when she told Elizabeth about Channing IV, she acted surprised that Gina was his mother, even though she obviously recognized the name. "Maybe CC mentioned him...." "That's what she said, but she claimed to know that he wasn't Sophia's son, and she didn't bother to ask CC who his mother was? Doesn't make sense...." "There's a lot about her that makes little sense.....I think it's time I got to know our Elizabeth a little better...." "And how do you plan on doing that?" Keith smiles at her, devilishly. "Charm goes a long way, especially with ladies Elizabeth's age...." Their attention is re-focused, as everyone takes their seats and the service begins. First, Eden gets up to speak about her mother. Eden says that their relationship was rocky at times but she could count on her mother's wisdom in her times of need. Eden mentions that their was much animosity between them but they had worked past it and she had forgiven her mother. Eden goes on about the respect and generosity that Sophia showed everyone who she came in contact with, even strangers. As Eden is speaking, Pamela quietly takes her seat with her veil down. Eden says that the relationship she had with her father was an inspiration for her and says that he'll be continuing with the rest of her eulogy. Elizabeth enters the chapel as CC gets up to speak. He locks eyes with her and slightly smiles to show his approval of her being there. She takes remains standing in the back, as Keith turns around to see her. Keith says to Gina that he thought she wasn't coming....and Gina insists she said she wouldn't be there. CC starts talking about how Sophia was the love of his life and he doesn't know how he'll ever go on without her. He says that their relationship was a struggle but her strength, wisdom, and courage gave him his own strength when with her. He talks about the early days of their marriage and what how happy he was when she was pregnant with Channing. Augusta looks at Lionel, remembering that he was actually the father of the child, unknown to CC at the time. He says that he couldn't have asked for a better woman to be the mother of his children. Elizabeth hears this and can take no more, turning and leaving the chapel. Keith notices this and tells Gina he's going to leave. Gina tells him it's disrespectful for him to get up & go while CC is speaking. "I think they've come to expect that from me by now...." Keith gets up and follows her as CC continues with his speech. He goes on about Sophia's death the first time and how he was unable to cope or get through it. He talks about being reunited with her, all those years later, and though he was so angry with her, he was more thrilled to have her back. Julia listens to this and looks at Mary across the room, then looks over at her husband. CC says that the past years with Sophia were a joy as his whole life with her was and that he wouldn't have traded them for anything, nor changed anything that happened during that time, both good and bad. CC continues his speech about Sophia, as the camera pans around the room at all of the guests- Eden, Cruz, Kelly, Ted, Angela, Mason, Julia, Mary, Lionel, Augusta, Warren, Laken, Kathleen, Joann, Santana, Rosa, Gina, Keith, Lily, Channing IV, Ben and finally settling on Pamela, who lifts her veil to reveal a sinister smile on her face. (EXT: Jet, Flying in through the air) ---CC's speech is still heard as the camera focuses on Edmund, with a person sleeping next to him on his private plane. His assistant comes back and informs him that the they're landing and he'll need to buckle himself and his guest. He thanks her and fastens his seatbelt, and works on the sleeping person's. Startled the person wakes up and the camera zooms in on the face........SLEEPY "Where are we? What's going on?" "We're landing, Sophia. Go back to sleep. You need your rest......" Sophia weakly shuts her eyes and fades back to sleep. The screen splits between she & Edmund and CC finishing her eulogy. THE END..................for the week
  6. Hehe, I won't- it will be up sometime in the early part of the evening.
  7. I'm sorry guys, I know you're waiting for it, but Friday is just a BUSY, BUSY day for me- and a long one at that! I don't know why I keep trying to schedule a late night episode on Fridays because every week, the same thing ends up happening! From now on there will be no more episodes scheduled for Fridays- instead, the last episode of the week will be scheduled for Saturdays. Again, I apologize to those who have been waiting for it to go up- unfortunately, you'll have to wait one more day................ Promise it will be worth the wait.
  8. All I can say is make sure you check out tomorrow's episode.

    LOVE CONFESSIONS!

Am I the only one who's sick of waiting for the link to the picture of Greta's mystery lover? I wanna know damnit! Looking forward to more Billie/Julie. Poor Jack. If only Billie would return his sentiments, but I fear self-destructive Billie Reed with continue along her path. And way to go Stephanie! Steve deserved every bit of that slap!

    IT'S OVER!

Again, I really like how you're penning Steve & Kayla's storyline. Loved Victor & Kate's unholy alliance. And I like where you're going with Marlena- I get the feeling she's about to get a story all her own.
  12. Solid episode KR! Loved the Raven's feather and especially the ending with Megan & Jan! You're doing a really good job crafting this storyline- this killer seems to be very meticulous so far. Cutting poor Celeste's vocal chords? Now that's scary stuff.
  13. I realllly want to know who the MCF is. Can't wait for that reveal! As for Marlena, I have my theories on what's going on there......but I bet they don't compare to what you guys have in mind. Can I just say that I can't stand Victor? This is the Victor I remember......and hated so much. I really like what you're doing with Victor, Bo, and Philip- it's certainly intriguing. I like seeing Maggie a lot, but she's always whining, pining, b!tching, or moaning. Makes me wish she'd stay at home with Alice sometimes! GREAT work you guys!
  14. http://santabarbara-online.com/GeneriqueDebutUS.rm (EXT: Santa Barbara Medical Center) ----The Capwells, Lockridges, and Andrades stand mystified by what they've just heard. CC asks if there's anything that can be done and Ben informs him that according to the readings, there is no brain activity. He informs the family that only the machines are keeping her alive. "Then you're saying she is alive?" "Technically, she is, but as I said, there is no brain activity. She will never wake up and will remain forever in the state that she is in now. Without the machines keeping her alive, her body would immediately shut down. I'm so sorry. But there isn't any hope...." "I want a specialist- another opinion. This is my wife we're talking about, damnit!!" "CC," Mary consoles, "You could bring in an entire team of specialists and we could keep her body running for days or even weeks on end. They'll tell you the same thing. I told you I'd be right there with her and I have been......we've done everything we can do......there is nothing else left. I'm so sorry." Mary begins to tear up. "I loved her too. I was her nurse once you know. I wouldn't be saying this if it weren't the truth...." CC looks at Mary and then looks over at his & Sophia's three devastated children. He looks directly into Eden's eyes as she continues to cry, but nods with her approval. Finally, his voice cracking, CC is able to get back up the gumption to speak. "Can we see her? I'd like to be with her when they disconnect them.....and I think my family would like a chance to say good-bye...." "Sure. Of course- I have no problem with that. Take all the time you need." ----Augusta tells Lionel that she thinks they should give the family space to grieve. Laken and Warren agree with their mother, and say their good-byes to their respective loved ones. They head downstairs with Augusta starting to follow when she turns around to see Lionel hasn't moved. She heads back toward him. "Lionel, please, the Capwells may not be my favorite people in the world but their wife & mother is dead. We shouldn't be here any longer...." Lionel ignores her and approaches CC. "CC, would it be already if I had a minute with her? Before the family starts going in there..." CC looks at his long-time rival, seeing the devastation and loss in his eyes. "Alright, Lionel, go ahead. Don't be in long though..." "A couple of minutes, CC, a couple of minutes...." Lionel walks away toward the room, leaving Augusta alone. Julia approaches her sister and hugs her. "Julia, I'm so sorry. I really am. I shouldn't be here though. Tell CC.....tell.....just tell him I'm so sorry for his loss..." Julia bids her sister good-bye and turns around to see Mary now sitting next to Mason, consoling him. Eden sees Julia watching them and approaches her. The two women look at each other and Julia begins to cry, overwhelmed by all the emotions filling her at once. Eden sees this and starts breaking up herself, as the two women hug. ----Santana sees Rosa, sitting down and saying her rosary. Santana sits down next to her and takes her mother's hand in hers. "I should have done something!" Rosa says to her daughter "What could you have done? You didn't have any idea..." "But I did mija. Sophia confided in me about it. She didn't want the rest of the family to know or to worry about her. She was actually planning on doing some experimental treatment to try and beat it. I advised against it but looking back now, I wish I hadn't- I'd do anything to have Sophia still be here with us. Poor CC. He didn't even know- there are probably many things he would have done differently these past months had he known....." "None of that is your fault mama- Sophia chose not to tell them, you were respecting her wishes." Rosa has trouble seeing it that way, saying that she'd be livid with anyone if they'd helped Ruben keep a secret like that from her. It dawns on Santana that Sophia's dying is reminding Rosa of when her own husband passed away. Santana hugs her mother and tells her that Sophia wouldn't want her beating herself up over it. ---Lionel enters Sophia's room, seeing her laying there, completely helpless and motionless. Lionel breaks down and says that he can't stand seeing her like this. He tells her that he's never loved another woman the way he loved her and that there will always be a piece of his heart that is hers alone. He tearfully recounts the mistakes they'd made over the years and the life-long friendship that their affair blossomed into. He says that he wouldn't have traded his times with her for anything and that the world will be worse off without her presence. He wishes her good-bye, kissing her forehead, telling her he hopes to see her in the next life. Lionel leaves and Mason comes in with Julia. Mason tells Sophia that she is good and so undeserving of what life has dealt her. He remarks that only the good die young, mentioning it being unfair that someone as scummy as himself is sure to live a life as too long as hers is too short. Mason says that he looked at her like a mother and even though he still has Pamela, he'll still feels like he's losing his mother today. He breaks down into sobs and Julia tenderly takes his hand. With their hands together, she guides him over to Sophia's hand. Julia kisses her fingers and places them on Sophia's lips, quietly offering a tender good-bye. They leave and Rosa walks in, immediately taking Sophia's hand while sitting next to the bed. She tells her that she was only always more than an employer to her- she was a friend. She says she looked up to her as a woman with morals and values and kindness, and felt that though she herself was poor and Sophia was rich, that Sophia was deserving of everything she had in life and more. Rosa tearfully wishes her friend good-bye, kissing her on the cheek, and telling her to take good care of Ruben and Channing up in Heaven. Rosa exits as Ted & Angela walk in. Ted is unable to even speak when he sees his mother lying there in that state. He immediately breaks down into sobs, not even able to utter the word "mom." Angela holds her husband as he breaks down even further. "I can't do this....I'm sorry, I can't do it....." he sobs to his family as he's exiting, with Angela at his side. The family looks at him, getting even further upset. Kelly, Cruz, and Eden enter her room next. Kelly approaches the bed first. "Mama.....it's me....Kelly. Your baby girl, your little trouble maker. I remember when I was a little girl, Eden used to be able to do things that I wasn't allowed to do, like wear make-up, or stay out late, or date boys. I remember one day I was so upset with you because Eden got to stay up late one night and I had to go to bed. I complained and whined to you that Eden got to do everything first just because she's older. And you asked me why I wanted to grow up so fast? And you told me that being older wasn't all it was cracked up to me.........Oh mama, I don't know what I'll do without you, without your strength and your wisdom...I...oh..." Eden takes her sister's hand and comforts her, crying herself. Cruz steps up to Sophia's bedside as Kelly and Eden stand watching him, holding each other's arm around the other. "Mrs. C- you're a good lady, always good to me. You've kept Mr C in line the whole time I've known ya and that's no easy task. You've shown me nothing but love and acceptance since making me a part of your family and I look at you and Mr. C as my second parents." Cruz wipes his nose, fighting back his tears. "You don't deserve this, not yet- you got so much more life left in ya............" Eden looks at her husband as a tear rolls down his face. She walks up to him and and rubs his shoulders as he leans over her mother's side. Eden walks in front of him and brushes her mother's hair back from her face. "Mama....We haven't had the easiest mother/daughter relationship or the most normal for that matter......but I wouldn't want to call anyone other than you mother. The strength, courage, and values you've instilled in all of your children will continue to stick with us for the rest of our lives. You will live on through each one of us- Ted got your sweetness and kindness, Kelly, your looks and charm. And myself.....I've always seen a lot of myself in you and vice versa, though I didn't necessarily want to at one time in my life. But we've grown so much and through at all, your love for me was always unconditional, even when I placed conditions on my love for you. I hope......(she begins to break up).....I can only hope that I've raise my daughter, Adriana Sophia, to be half the woman that she was named after. I love you mama" She bends down, kissing her mother on the cheek. CC walks in and the three exit, giving him time alone with his wife. After they leave, CC takes a good look at his wife and begins to weep. "You were the love of my life, the light in my day. How can you do this to me? How can you expect me to go on living without you? I need you, by my side, telling me what a fool I'm acting like or making me appreciate the things around me, like my family, my wife......I've spent most of my life married to you and all of it worth remembering in love with you. You are the most beautiful, graceful, elegant woman to ever grace this forsaken world with your presence. The world will lose an angel today and Heaven will gain one. I know you'll be forever with me and watching over me and your children.....but you know me.....I'm selfish and greedy and I want you here. I'd give anything to have that. I should be the one in that bed, damnit, it should be me. Oh God, not Sophia, not my wife, my beautiful Sophia......." He bends down and tenderly presses his lips on hers, the tears from his cheek falling onto Sophia's stilled, motionless face. Ben walks into the room. CC comes up from kissing his wife and looks at the doctor. "Are you ready?" Ben asks him. "To let go? I'll never be ready....." "I can understand that CC.....if you'd like some more time with her, by all means.....' "No. I don't want her suffering any more than she has to. It's time." CC kisses his wife's forehead and takes her hand, sitting beside her. Kelly, Cruz, Eden, Julia, and Mason all come back in the room. CC asks where Ted is and they tell him he went home, that he couldn't bear it anymore. Mary comes in the room, and gives the family a look. CC nods his approval as they begin unplugging the machines........... beep.....beep.......beep.......beep......... Mary unplugs the first machine, as CC clutches Sophia's hand, the family tearfully watching............ beep...............................beep..........................................beep..................................... Ben continues and takes out Sophia's IV. beep..................................beep............................beep.................. Mary finally unplugs the respirator. CC quietly whispers "Good-bye my love.......I'll always love you......" Beep.........................................beep.........................................beep.............................................................................. The heart monitor goes silent, the line flat. The camera pans around the room, passing by the anguished faces of Kelly, Mason, Julia, Cruz, and Eden, before settling on CC & Sophia, Sophia lying in the hospital bed, lifeless, with CC's sitting next to her, holding her hand to his face.......crying for his lost love..... THE END....................for today
  15. Definitely excited about Roscoe Born's Jim McClure as well. Should be interesting, to say the least. Looking forward to the Marlena story as well.
  16. I'm keeping a lid on it but I will say that things are not as they seem......
  17. Neat episode. All the greats are in there and I'm a sucker for Luke calling Alexis 'Natasha'! Gets me every time. Episodes where you feature Scott Baldwin are my favorite. He hasn't ever been my favorite 'GH' character but you write to the attributes that I like about him. Very well done.
  18. I like the storyline with Luke. Sad that he's drinking again though. Also, love how Katie only remembers loving Henry, though I'm not a fan of them as a couple (Matie lover here ) Still, I could picture it & love anything that puts Mike, Katie, and Henry in story together. Good job Dusty!
  19. YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!! I know who it is!! I know who it is!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT for this!!!
  20. http://santabarbara-online.com/GeneriqueDebutUS.rm (EXT: The Capwell Hotel) ----CC & Elizabeth come apart from their kiss. Elizabeth asks him what it was for. Tradition, he claims, and his appreciation for everything she's done for the company. Elizabeth smiles, though she wonders how he feels about her treatment of Sophia. Though CC doesn't agree with it, he says he understands her resentment toward her sister. CC tells her that he'd wish she'd lighten up on Sophia, that she's grown into a very different woman than she was back then. CC also reminds her that it was their father who pitted them against one another, not Sophia. ----Warren and Kelly come up for air from their kiss. Kelly looks at him and Warren grins back at her. "Was that out of line? Not that I'd take it back......" "It's New Year's Warren. Any other time, you might have been out of line" "Really? So if I did it again, say now, that would be out of line?" Kelly smiles at him. "Guess you won't get to find out," she says, walking away from him. Warren lets out a painful chuckle, grinning at her backhanded rejection. ----The elevator door opens and Mary & Mason come apart from their New Year's Kiss. "Alright, Mason, I held up my end of the deal. Your turn. It's time you talk to your wife." Mary spots her across the room and suggests he start now. Mason looks at her, telling her how much he has missed her. She smiles and says she missed him back. "Go to her Mason. Please." Mason gives her a look and heads toward his wife. Ted approaches Mary and wishes her a Happy New Year, giving her a kiss on the cheek. She hugs him and smiles. "Gee, you disappear for 20 years and the whole town has a new face! You look good Ted." "So do you. How's Christie? Mason tells me you went to see her...." "She's doing very well for herself, thanks for asking. Living in Colorado..." "Married?" "Nope. If you'll excuse me, I need to go freshen up. Good to see you, Ted." Lily walks up behind Ted and wishes her ex a Happy New Year. He does the same and she asks him if that was Mary Duvall. He tells her that it was and she's completely dumbfounded by her return. Ted tells Lily that he's been meaning to talk to her- Angela told him about their confrontations and it needs to stop. Lily admits to her behavior but tries to warn Ted about the kind of woman he's married. Ted claims he's well aware and doesn't need her interfering in his love life. Lily says she won't, though he shouldn't expect as much where Angela is concerned. Ted again warns Lily to stay away from Angela. "I would have been perfectly happy to never have heard the name Angela Cassidy. But the fact is she is the one who struck first, and strike she did. Don't expect me to just roll over and play dead for that woman because I'm not gonna do that Ted. Whether you like it or not." Lily walks away, leaving Ted annoyed. Rafe is shown watching him from across the room. He approaches Ted and asks what he's done to Lily. "What goes on between myself and Lily is none of your business Rafe." "Just stay away from her Ted. You've hurt her enough already, don't you think?" "Funny. I could say the same about you," Ted shoots back and walks away. ---Mason approaches Julia and tells her that he'd like to talk. Julia remarks that men always seem to air their grievances in public places and asks why that is. "Because inherently, we're cowards, so rather than risk an honest argument in private, we go for the controlled discussion in public." "Well, I've got news for you- I'm married to the owner of this hotel, so I have no qualms about making quite a scene here. But go ahead. If this is where you feel we should have this discussion, then by all means........have at it. The floor is all yours, Mason." ----Mary enters the ladies room and is horrified to find Sophia lying unconcious on the floor. She immediately bursts through the doors and yells for someone to call an ambulance. Seeing the commotion, Mason runs to Mary from what he's doing, with Julia following not far behind. Mary tells Mason to go upstairs and get her medical bag while she does CPR on Sophia. Kelly hears what's going on and shrieks. "Mother! It's MOTHER we need an ambulance for? Oh my God, Mary, what's wrong with her?" "I don't know, but she's unconcious and unresponsive." Julia, Kelly, and Mary head to the bathroom while Mason races off to the elevators. Cruz and Eden spot him running and ask what the commotion is all about. He tells them it's Sophia- she's unconcious. "Mama! Oh my God, Mama...." Eden heads off to the ladies room, with Cruz following her. Elizabeth is shown, having listened in to everything that transpired. She sees Pamela walking toward the Hotel front door and follows her. Elizabeth catches up with her just outside of the door, grabs her by the arm and turns her around. "What do you want?" Pamela asks, agitated. "Let go of me for Heaven's Sake." "What have you done to my sister?" Elizabeth asks, not letting go. "I have no idea what you're talking about...." "I'm talking about the fact that I saw you follow her to the ladies room and not 5 minutes later, she's lying unconcious on the floor!" "Don't be ridiculous! I saw her in there & she said she wasn't feeling well. I assumed she'd had too much to drink. She's unconcious?" "Don't play dumb with me, Pamela. I saw the look you gave me. What are you up to?" "Honestly, I don't know what you're talking about- I looked at you because I was giving you an opportunity to be alone with your precious CC at midnight, that's all. And don't act so concerned about your sister- you hate Sophia more than I do...." "That doesn't mean I want her dead." "Anymore than it means I do. Your sister has been sick for a while, Elizabeth. Ask her doctor. She's been hiding it from her family for some time now. Now if there's nothing else, I have a phone call I'd like to make, excuse me." ----CC races toward the ladies room and flings the door open, seeing Mary performing CPR on his unconcious wife. He falls to his knees and grabs his wifes hand, as Mary kneels on the other side of her, continuing with CPR. Finally, the EMTs arrive and Mary tells them the situation. They immediately load her onto a stretcher and put her on oxygen. They rush her through the Hotel Lobby, with CC running with them, and Mary as well. They pass by Eden, Kelly, Julia, Cruz, Mason, and Ted in the ladies room. Outside they run her past Rosa & Santana, then by Keith, Gina, Lily, Warren, Laken, Lionel, and Augusta, followed by Rafe, Samantha, and Adriana, and finally, Angela and Joann. They run her through the front doors, as Elizabeth watches them approaching. "CC. CC! Is she going to be alright?" "I don't know, Elizabeth, I don't know....." He walks away from her and hops into the ambulance, taking Sophia's hand back into his. "Hold on, Sophia. You've got to fight. Please fight- I can't lose you....." Pamela is shown on her phone watching the scene, as the back doors to the ambulance close. "She's on her way there now....." she says into the receiver. (EXT: Santa Barbara Medical Center) ----The EMTs, Mary, and CC rush Sophia into the hospital, where Dr. Ben Normandy is waiting for them. CC is told he cannot go back with them and begs Ben to please take care of his wife. Ben promises that they'll do everything they can for her. Mary then promises CC that she's going to stay with her as well and he's appreciative. Ted, Angela, and Kelly arrive first to the hospital and Kelly walks straight up to her father and gives him a huge hug. Kelly begins to sob and CC kisses the top of her head. "It's going to be alright. She's going to pull through this- I know she will." "What happened? Has she been sick? I mean....where did this come from?" Kelly asks. "No....she's had some headaches lately, but nothing serious. Really, I don't know what this could be....." Mason, Julia, Cruz and Eden arrive at the hospital and ask CC what's going on with Sophia. He says that he doesn't know, but it doesn't seem to be a heart attack. He tells them they thought at first it was a stroke, but she doesn't seem to be exhibiting the normal behavior of a stroke victim. Eden sees a nurse come out of the ER and asks her if there's any word on her mother. The nurse tells them that they're working on her now. Eden asks when they'll be able to see her and the nurse says they'll have to wait to hear from Dr. Normandy for that. Rosa, Santana, Lionel, Augusta, Laken, and Warren arrive from the party. CC immediately walks up to Rosa and gives her a hug. Rosa hugs him tightly as he begins to break down. "Aye, quiete, quiete. She's strong, your wife. She'll fight- and you'll be there, fighting right with her....." Laken offers Ted her support as he walks up to her and hugs her, beginning to sob. He thanks her for coming, and thanks Lionel & Augusta as well. Angela looks on at her husband, in such agony. Mason breaks away from the family and friends, taking a seat in the lobby, looking at each of them worry. Julia walks up and sits next to him. He sits there, not looking at her, still on the outside looking in at his family. Julia takes his hand in hers and rubs it gently. He looks down at her hand on his and looks up at Julia, staring in her eyes. Julia looks back at him, her eyes offering him the comfort he so needs. He looks back at her and hugs her, embracing her tightly. Julia begins to cry. Suddenly, everyone's attention is diverted when Ben & Mary emerge from the Emergency Room. They look at everyone in the room, with solemn looks on both of their faces. "Ben? Is she going to be okay?" an upset CC asks. Ben cannot bring himself to even look at CC at first. "My God, Ben, what is it? Mary?" "Sophia has a brain aneurism in an advanced stage......I had been treating it with medication but...." "Wait a minute! What do you mean you had been treating it? How long has this been going on?" "She hadn't told you? A couple of months now. I had given her medication to keep it from rupturing but ....... it was so far advanced.........either the meds were ineffective or she stopped taking them.....but the aneurism.....I don't know how to say this.... It burst..." "I don't understand. What does that mean? What can you do for her? What are you going to do for my wife.....She....Mary....What...." "I'm sorry to tell you this, but the rupture.......It's left her.....Brain dead....." Kelly shrieks "noooooo" that it cannot be and collapses in her father's arms. Eden hugs Cruz and everyone else reacts to the situation with great pain and tears. The camera zooms in on CC, in shock, total devastation and confusion........ THE END............For Today
  21. Great- who's gonna warn all these damn ingrates that they're in grave danger? Good work KR. So far, Julie's still alive and kickin, so I can't fault ya. I kind of have a feeling about who might be doing this, but I can't for the life of me figure out why! Can't wait to watch it all unfold.

  23. Still loving the Julie/Billie stuff. I also like the way you're writing Steve & Kayla. Interesting that Steve faked his own death- I doubt Kayla's going to react well to that. As for Greta: Team Frankie here!
  24. Very astute Wendy! That's a very accurate assessment of what I've set up. There really is no one single villain, save maybe for Sophia & Elizabeth's father. Frankly, I don't consider Sophia a villain in the situation myself & I'm writing it! And I have a sneaking suspicion I'll be hearing more from you as the week progresses......
  25. Wow! You're surprisingly calm Wendy, especially considering everything that went on in this episode!
