  1. Yeah Tiff was out of line, but damn- I've seen Monica punch before. It ain't pretty.
  2. GREAT episode Tishy! You know how I love Scolexis! Most inspired pairing ever. Loved Lucky putting holier-than-thou Elizabeth in her place. And most of all, Sonny and Brenda- YOWZAS! I could picture those dimples on his face when he woke up. Excellent episode...almost caught up!
  3. http://santabarbara-online.com/GeneriqueDebutUS.rm GET SB ON TV!!! (EXT: The Capwell Mansion) ---CC stews at the dining room table, reading the newspaper article on Cruz's death. Rosa comes in from the kitchen with his breakfast and peeks over his shoulder to see what he's reading. "I feel so terrible about Cruz.......I've known him since he was a small boy- was like another son to me.....Have you heard from Eden?" "This morning. They're coming back today. Frankly, I'm not sure how much more this family can endure.......first Sophia, now Cruz....." Rosa takes his hand, telling him that she misses Sophia very much. She tells CC that she can appreciate what he's going through, having lost Ruben herself, and can relate to the emptiness he must feel inside. She also reminds him that he's gotten through this once before, many years ago, and he will again. He quickly flashes to kissing Loretta. The doorbell rings and Rosa is surprised to see Ashton standing on the other side of it, alone. CC calls to her, asking who it is, and looks up to see that it's Ashton. "Hello dad" he says. (EXT: Baja, Mexico- HOTEL) ---Eden sits at the table alone, staring out the window. She hears someone trying to open the door and Julia finally is able to push it open, handing Eden a cup of coffee. She asks Eden how she is, pointing out that it's a dumb question. "Ready to Leave....." Eden responds shortly. "I can imagine. As soon as Adriana is out of the shower, we'll go. I'd think you're anxious to get back." "I'm not. I'm dreading it. I'm dreading walking into that house, knowing he's never coming home to me. Dreading seeing my father, and Kelly, Ted, and Mason and the looks in all of their eyes. But most of all, I'm dreading getting into my bed, lying down, and seeing.........that empty space next to me on the bed that Cruz used to occupy." Julia gives her a concerned look, but Eden quickly stops feeling sorry for herself, showing a steely determination to get to the truth of the matter. Julia asks her what she's going to do. "I don't know, Julia, I honestly don't. But I'll tell you what I'm not going to do....................Stop. I am not stopping until I know who did this to him, to us, and I've brought them to their knees. They are going to regret the day they ever...........EVER came near me or my husband......." Julia looks up and sees Adriana has emerged from the bathroom. Eden turns around and sees her daughter, telling her it's about time she got ready. Adriana warns her mother not to take her anger out on her, and that she's just as anxious to get home as she is. Eden tries to apologize, but Adriana tells her to leave her alone and storms outside. Eden gives Julia an annoyed look. Adriana walks down the parking lot, and spots what appears to be Steve's car. She approaches it and sees he's sleeping in the driver's seat. She smiles and walks up to the open window and blows in his ear. He smacks his ear and itches it, tossing back to sleep. She holds in a laugh before blowing again, this time waking him up. "Good morning" she says. "Yeah....." "What are you still doing here? I thought you were going to leave last night, after we got the results...." "I was.....thought about it.......then I got to thinking..." "About what?" "About you......thought you probably could use a friend....so......" "So you came back here and slept in your car outside? Why didn't you knock? I would've let you-" "I didn't want to disturb your mom. She's got enough goin on, you know?" Adriana tells him to wait there and walks back to the hotel room. He watches her from his car, arguing inside with her mother. She comes flying back out, slaaming the door behind her, and jumps into Steve's car. He tells her that he thinks she should probably just go back with her mother. "Funny, I don't remember asking you what you thought. Drive." He gives her a look and she holds his stare. He turns the key in the ignition and begins to drive. "You know Princess, you don't have to get b!tchy about it....." "Oh you are just ASKING for a miserable ride home, aren't you?" He cracks a smile and she looks at him, as if to warn him. Still staring at her and smiling, he floors it, sending her back on her seat with a pained expression. (EXT: The Capwell Hotel) ---Kelly gives instructions to the girls working at the front desk. She tells them that her sister should be there later in the day and the press most likely will be there to hound her. She explains to the manager exactly how she wants security handled. She also tells them that some of Cruz's family will be coming into town, many of which will be staying at the hotel. She says that there will be further, specific instructions for those guests when they arrive. They all then separate and when they part, she sees Warren Lockridge standing at the desk watching her. "Warren- Hi! What brings you by?" "I'm actually having breakfast with Angela but I thought I'd stop and see you. If you've seen today's paper, you know that I've heard about Cruz......." "Yes." "He was a good man and a good friend of mine. And the best damn cop this town ever saw. How are you holding up? How's your sister?" "I haven't seen her yet, but I can only imagine. She's supposed to get back from Mexico today...." "Tell her I'm thinking of her and very sorry for her loss. Anyhow, just thought I'd say hi and see how you were." "Thanks Warren. I appreciate it..." Warren walks over to the restaurant, spotting a rough looking Angela. He sits down with her at the table. "What's with the sunglasses?" he asks her. "I slept with my contacts in last night...." "You? Wear contact lenses?...." "Yes, Warren, I wear them.....Nevermind that...." "Sorry, I just never knew...." "Well now you do." Warren tells Angela that after the way she kicked him out the night before, he was surprised to hear from her. He tells her that he figured she just used him for his body and would never call. Angela tells him to keep his voice down, to which he responds that it shouldn't matter, since her marriage is over anyway. He then looks down and spots the wedding ring back on her finger. "Actually, that's what I wanted to talk to you about...." she says. From a distance, Kelly walks by and sees them sitting together. She muses that they look sort of intense and wonders what they're discussing. (EXT: The Capwell Mansion) ---CC tells Ashton he obviously has him confused with someone else. He turns around and shows Ashton the back of his head. "See? See? No ponytail......Not your father...." Ashton remarks that CC should calm down, since he was only referring to him as such since he's his father-in-law. CC instructs him to call him Mr. Capwell or CC but he is not to call him dad. "It looks as though I've hit a sore spot..." Ashton says. "No sore spot. My children call me dad and they are the only ones." "Which ones? Only the ones with Pamela and Sophia, or are the illegitimate ones allowed to as well?" "Just what the hell is that supposed to mean?" Ashton says that CC always seems to have had a new child springing up over the years. He mentions Greg, Channing IV, and the possibility that Warren could be his son, which CC refutes. CC asks Ashton how he knows about all of this, mentioning that it doesn't sound like Kelly to be going over private details of his life. Ashton agrees, telling him that he's gotten the information on his own, over the years. Ashton says that CC would be surprised by just how much he knows. "You don't know a damn thing about me son..." "Son? Now why is it you can call me son but I am forbidden to call you dad? Why would that be.....It wouldn't have anything to do with the affair that you once had with my mother?" CC stares at him, dumbfounded. "Cat got your tongue? You didn't think I knew, did you? Well....I know plenty. I know that your affair caused my mother's suicide, and almost caused me to not even be born. And I also know that, up until a few weeks ago, you really had no idea whether or not I was really your son.................ISN'T THAT RIGHT, ROSA?" "Leave her out of this....." "I agree, she should have had nothing to do with any of this, but you had to make sure nobody found out what you were doing, didn't you? Tell him Rosa. Tell him how I caught you and gave you my hair myself. Tell him I knew the whole time what he was doing." "You think you're smart, don't you Mr. Lavery?" Rosa asks him. "So you could do what, have some kind of grand reveal, similar to what you're about to do now, where you tell CC he really knows nothing at all about your DNA? I may not say much, Mr. Lavery, but I'm not a dumb woman and not so easily intimidated as women your age. Did you really think I'd be so foolish as to take that hair you handed me to CC?" Ashton looks at her, stunned by what she's saying and CC stands smiling at him. "So you see, su-.....Ashton, you don't know half as much as you might think" CC glibly informs him. (EXT: Car, driving in Santa Barbara) ---Eden is shown driving her car alone, having gotten back in town. She pulls her car to a complete stop, parks, and gets out of the car. The camera focuses only on her walking, not showing where she's going to. She is shown knocking. The door she's standing in front of opens and she comes face to face with the person she's meeting. PERSON WHO OPENED THE DOOR "I suggest you go and get your husband and daughter, because we're going to have a little chat. And I'm not leaving until I've gotten the truth out of both of them." THE END....................for NOW
  4. http://santabarbara-online.com/GeneriqueDebutUS.rm GET SB ON TV!!!! (EXT: West Palm Beach, FL- Sherri's APT) ---Mason, Mary, and Maureen hurry up the stairs to Sherri's apartment. When they get there, they run into the superintendent, who's locking Sherri's door behind him. "What's going on?" Mason asks Where are the people that lived there?" "Moved out this morning. Interested?" "The only thing I'm interested in is the people who lived there and where they've moved to." "Can't help ya there, all I know is they're gone. Paid to break the lease and split...." Mason is devastated by the news and becomes enraged. Mary attempts to calm him down but he says he needs some air and heads down the stairs. In the meantime, Mary approaches the super and asks him if he wouldn't mind if she did take a look at the apartment. He tells her the condition probably isn't the best, but she insists it doesn't matter, saying she'd like to just get a feel for the place. He agrees and lets she & Maureen in. Soon after, he gets a beep from a lady down the hall, saying she's having trouble with her pipes. He leaves the ladies alone and Mary searches frantically for clues. She searches through everything, but finds nothing. She's frustrated when she sees that Maureen isn't even looking. "I'll find him Mary. I always do. He'll contact me or she will- one of them will slip up. It may not be right away, but in time...." "In TIME? All there's been is time, Maureen. Over 20 years now, I've been waiting, trusting your son, only to find out that he's LIED to me repeatedly. Even now, just when I think I have the truth, and I can put all of this behind me......It all turns out to be another one of his sick manipulations. Well Mark has lied to me for the LAST TIME! He kept me apart from MASON, He's kept me from MY CHILD- All for what? FOR WHAT? Just to make ME miserable- after everything he'd already done to me, you'd think he'd have some kind of heart, a conciense. But your son, your Mark. He's a MONSTER! And I'm going to make him PAY for what he's done to me, you mark my words....." Maureen and Mary head out of the apartment building, empty-handed, and join Mason in the car, taking off for their respective hotels. (EXT: The Lair) ----Keith and Elizabeth walk into the bar, without a care in the world. He orders them a round of Manhattans from the bartender. Keith comments that he used to know the owner of the place and Elizabeth asks about him. Keith tells her about TJ and his relationships with Sophia......and Kelly. "That's SICK! I knew she was low, but really......... well that's my sister for you, never satisfied with what she has...." "And what GENE did you get Elizabeth?" Gina says, walking up behind the two of them "Only being satisfied with what isn't yours?" "EXCUSE Me? Last I looked, you weren't wearing a wedding ring...." "Ladies, Please, We're in a Public Place....." "OH SHUT UP!" they say in unison. Elizabeth tells Gina that she & Keith don't owe her any explanations for their behavior. She tells her it wasn't anything they planned....it just sort of happened. She admits at first, that she wasn't going to go along with it, but has opted to give Keith a chance, which he asked for. "A Chance? Like you're some kind of Prize? You really are quite pathetic, you know that. And to think, when I met you, I thought we could be friends.......You kicked Sophia out of the building, had CC by the throat- both admirable qualities...." "You and I? Friends? Oh, Gina, really, I know you must admire me at all, but I know trash when I see it. You leech onto men and use them for their wealth and their status, without having anything of substance to offer yourself!" "You B!TCH!" Gina goes to throw her drink at Elizabeth, but Keith steps in the way and ends up with a face full of Cosmopolitan. "Pink always was your color, Keith. Enjoy CC's leftovers...." Gina storms out of the Lair. Elizabeth takes a towel from the bartender and begins cleaning up Keith's face. She thanks him for taking the drink in the face for her. He comments that he's her husband, he has to be good for some things. "Seriously, about that, Keith, do you really think this is working? I mean, honestly, why are we going on with this charade? Look how upset it's gotten HER!...." "Give it time- I'm an acquired taste. And besides.....I thought you liked me...." "I do kind of like you Keith, you can be quite charming, even sweet when you want to. But that doesn't mean...." Keith brings his finger to her mouth. "It's a start." He gives her a peck on the lips and smiles. She smiles back, at the very least, entertained by the mischievous district attorney. (EXT: London, England) ---Edmund and Sophia sit nestled together on his living room sofa, in front of a small fire. Sophia apologies for her behavior toward "Addie", saying that she shouldn't have gotten so jealous, or let "Addie" get to her. Edmund insists that it was fine and believes that "Addie" was taunting her on purpose. "Without question. What did she mean when she said if she wanted you right now, she could have you?" "To be honest, my love, I have no idea. She may think that in her head but it couldn't be further from the truth. She was a great friend to me when I was ill, but my feelings for her never went further. It was always you, my love, you that I was waiting for." Sophia smiles and remarks how safe she feels with him, sitting there in his arms. He assures her that she'll always be safe with him. She asks him to take her out the next day, maybe to the theatre, but she's dying to get out of the house for an evening. Edmund tells her he'd love to, but he'd promised "Addie" that he'd ride her to the airport. Sophia is annoyed, asking why she can't hire a driver. Edmund soothes her, saying that he's already promised and doesn't go back on his word. "I understand. It's one of the things I love so much about you" she says. He leans in and kisses her. She asks him if he wouldn't mind if she went with him to take "Addie" to the airport. Edmund is hesitant at first, but cannot resist Sophia's charms. He kisses her again and she asks him to stay in the master bedroom with her tonight. He looks her in the eyes and asks if she's sure; she nods in affirmation. He takes her hand and walks her up the stairs, passing Christine. "Those two....." Christine begins choking up "It just warms my heart to see them together again..." (EXT: Angela's condominium) ---Warren brings Angela inside. She complains that it's hot in the condo as Warren gets her a glass of water. She drinks it and thanks him for taking such good care of her. He tells her to think nothing of it, he's happy to be there for her whenever she needs him. She tells him that he's such a good guy. "Why did we break up again?" she asks. "Honestly......I can't remember......" "Well whatever it was, chalk it up to Angela's stupidity with Men: Beginners' Edition." He reassures her, telling her that she's a married woman, so she must be doing something right. "Not for long...." she says, removing her wedding ring. Warren insists that Ted loves her and she'll see that when he comes back to town, but she's adamant that the marriage is over. She tells him that Ted wants a saint, like his mother, even moreso now that she's passed. Probably someone more along the lines of Laken. Warren insists that his sister is not a saint. "Is that supposed to make me feel better?!?!" she muses. She walks up to Warren, running her hand down his face, telling him she was a fool to ever give him up. Warren tells her he thinks it's the Gin talking and suggests she go lie down. He leads her into her bedroom, where she immediately walks to the window and opens it, saying it's so hot and she needs air. "What YOU need is rest...." he says. But he stops dead in his tracks when she begins removing her clothes. (EXT: West Palm Beach, Florida) ---Mary sits in the room, alone, thinking about everything that Maureen told them. She thinks about everything that Mason said about what Mark did to them. FLASH TO Mason, sitting at the bar, having the exact same thoughts. FLASH TO Mary also thinks about her conversation with Maureen inside Sherri's apartment. She stands up and walks out the door, heading downstairs. FLASH TO In the bar, Mason nurses his drink, thinking back on his times with Mary. He then begins thinking of all of the conflict with Mark, including everything surrounding the rape. He then remembers Mary's death, and all the pain he went through. Additionally, he remembers being on the run for Mark's murder. When he comes to, he sees Mary standing before him, tears in her eyes. "Why did he do it to us Mary? How could he do this?" "I know Mason, I know..." She gently rubs his shoulder. "When I think of what we've lost, how we've been manipulate, lied to, had our whole LIVES turned upside down because of him...........And the thought that he could get away with it, that he thinks that he has...........When I see him....(he begins breaking down).....I'm gonna make him PAY, I'm gonna make him hurt the way that I hurt right now, the way I hurt when I thought I lost you.... I'm gonna make him feel all of those dark places, all those thoughts that I had......He's going to feel MY pain, OUR pain, for what he did to US! I'm going to make sure of it...." "I know. I know you will, Mason, and believe me, I understand how you feel- violated. Like you didn't control your own destiny, like your life and all of the choices you're supposed to make were made for you.....And it leaves you.....broken...." "Oh, Mary...." "Let's go upstairs Mason, get some sleep. We're going back to Santa Barbara tomorrow and we'll go from there..." He looks at her as she begins to back up. She takes his hand and he lets her lead him upstairs. FLASH TO (London,England) Sophia and Edmund lie in bed, passionately kissing each other. Suddenly, he stops. "What's wrong?" she asks. "Nothing's wrong....everything's perfect....." She goes to kiss him again, but he stops her. "We have all the time in the world, Loretta. Our whole lives are ahead of us. But tonight......I'd like to just hold you in my arms.....would that be alright? It's been so long since I...." She gently takes his arm and wraps it around her, smiling and closing her eyes. He kisses her softly on the side of her forehead while he holds her. FLASH TO Angela approaches Warren, now completely naked. He tells her she doesn't know what she's doing, but she claims to be very much aware. He insists that it wouldn't be right, but she shushes him, putting her finger on his lips and telling him that it couldn't be more right. She passionately kisses him on the lips. He pulls back, looking into her eyes. He grabs her & kisses her again. She rips his shirt off as he lifts her up and tosses her on the bed, climbing on top of her... FLASH TO Mary and Mason enter the hotel room. Mary walks into the bathroom to freshen up and when she comes out, she sees Mason sitting at the table, looking at the information from Pearl. He crumples it up and throws it in the garbage. He angrily stands up and turns around and sees her watching him. He walks directly up to her. He looks at her, with pain in his eyes, and caresses her cheek with his hand. He passionately kisses her. She gives in and kisses him back. He begins undoing her dress and leading her to the bed. She unbuttons his shirt as they fall onto the bed together. Things begin to get heated, until Mary stops herself. "We can't do this Mason. It isn't right.....It isn't fair to...." "Don't talk to me about fair Mary. What isn't fair is that after all we went through together, you were taken away from me. I want you. I NEED you..." She looks him in the eyes and begins kissing him again, unbuttoning his shirt the rest of the way as they begin to make love. FLASH TO Angela and Warren, rolling around in her bed, giggling and laughing. Suddenly, the scene goes from color to black & white. The camera then zooms out from the black & white scene, revealing it to be on a cell phone screen. It then pans to Lily, outside Angela's window, videotaping she & Warren. 7. http://santabarbara-online.com/GeneriqueDebutUS.rm GET SB ON TV!!! (EXT: London, England) ---Edmund, Pamela, and Sophia finish up the steak course of their meal. Sophia asks Edmund if his steak was cooked right for him and he insists everything was fantastic. Pamela remarks that "Loretta" seems to cater to Edmund's every whim. "He's my husband, Addie. I haven't been able to take care of him like this for some time- he, in fact, has been the one taking care of me, day in and day out. He saved my life and I'm going to spend the rest of it thanking him for it..." Sophia says firmly. "Such a remarkable story......and for it to end this way...." "It's not the end, Addie. Quite the contrary- this is the beginning for Edmund and I. Actually, I'm hoping that tonight will be the beginning of a whole new chapter in our relationship and our marriage." Edmund smiles at her. "Every day, every night, is going to be like a new beginning my love." He reaches out and takes Sophia's hand in his. Pamela, sitting directly across from Sophia, becomes uncomfortable and starts talking about how delicious the entire meal was. She says she can't eat another bite and Edmund & Sophia concur. Christine enters the room and begins clearing everyone's plates. "Everything was just delicious, Christine." Pamela says, handing her plate to her. "I'm so glad that you enjoyed it Mrs. C" Christine finishes clearing everyone's plates and heads out of the room. Pamela comments how all of the food has made her ready for bed. She says she should retreat to her hotel but Sophia insists she stay with them. Pamela tries to get out of it, but Sophia is adamant, mentioning they haven't even had dessert. "Ms. Lowell seems tired, Loretta. Besides, I thought you'd want us to be alone tonight..... It was so wonderful to see you again Addie...." "Wait just a minute" Sophia interrupts "I'm curious- when we were introduced, you said your name was Addie Lowell, correct?" "That's right." Pamela responds. "Why do you ask?" "I was just wondering why then, if your name is Addie Lowell, does Christine keep referring to you as Mrs. C?..." (EXT: New York City, New York) ---Ted and Laken sit at dinner, Laken in a stunning red dress. She eats her food, while Ted seems to be just picking around his. "What is this- Ted Capwell without an appetite? Something must be wrong for you not to be eating..." "Filled up on appetizers?" "We didn't have appetizers...." Ted cracks a smile which pleases her, but she still presses him to tell her what's going on. Ted tells her about his phone call with Angela earlier and how she heard Laken in his suite not once, but twice. Laken asks if he was upfront about spending time with her, but isn't surprised when he says he tried to avoid the subject altogether. "No wonder she's upset! We used to date, she barely knows me..... And you lie not once, but twice about meeting with an ex-girlfriend? Of course her radar is going to go off, and she's going to hit the roof!" Ted starts to crack a smile. Laken gives him a knowing look, and the smile cracks wide open across his face. "Oh my God. Ted Capwell, you JERK!" Ted picks up his fork and begins stuffing his mouth with food. "What? What I do?" "Don't play games with me- You WANTED her to be jealous! You're pushing her buttons on purpose!" He smiles again. "I can't believe you!" He says it's not completely like that- he was distant from her after his mother died, which caused him to do a lot of thinking. But he insists the trip to New York has been the best thing for him and their marriage. He says he's realized that he's more in love with his wife than ever. "Then why play these games Ted?" "You don't really understand mine & Angela's relationship, Laken. It's.........different from ours. These little fights, jealousies, games- they're what makes us work........ And when she's jealous or mad.......Let's just say it brings in my inner tigerrr" "Ok, ok, that's enough. Well I happen to think Angela is a very lucky woman.......then again......." She looks at Ted as he puts huge chunk of lamb in his mouth. (EXT: The Lair) ----Angela finishes off a martini and orders herself another. Warren comments that she probably doesn't need any more to drink, but she insists that she's fine. He tells her she's not fine to drive and he'll be taking her home, no arguments. "Ok, fine- no agumens.....Scuse me, I gotta powder my nose..." Angela excuses herself and Lily seizes the opportunity to talk with Warren. Gina asks Lily why she'd want to talk to Warren and she tells her that she's distracting Warren while Gina works on Angela. Lily approaches Warren and asks him how everything's going. He's surprised to see her there and offers to buy her a drink. She accepts and takes a seat on the stool next to him. ---Meanwhile, Gina finds Angela in the ladies room, fixing her hair in the mirror, barely able to stand up. Gina taunts her, asking her how Ted is doing. "Why don't you worry about yourshelf Geeena. My husband doesn't need a leash..." "Yet he's gone to New York City and here you are- DRUNK as Judy Garland at a junket. It's only been a few days, Angela, what could he possibly have.........Oh,oh,oh,oh,oh, that's right- Laken Lockridge lives in New York, doesn't she?" Angela stares back at her, fading out. She tries to say something but Gina overpowers her. "Yes, I'd forgotten she lived there- She was my stepdaughter once, you know. Beautiful, classy girl. I remember when I first moved to Santa Barbara, they were hot & heavy. Santa Barbara's very own Romeo and Julie. I used to envy the way he looked at her, wishing his father looked at me like that. A love, a connection like that.....it doesn't go away easily.... Angela goes to slap Gina but Gina catches her hand. "GO Ahead and TRY it Angela. I dare you. I'd flatten you you worthless tramp.....but why bother? It's not going to compare to the pain you feel when Ted tells you that he's leaving you for Laken Lockridge, the love of HIS LIFE!" Gina throws her back and walks out of the ladies room. Lily spots her leaving, thanks Warren for the drink, and takes off to meet her outside. Lily asks how it went and Gina tells her how badly rattled Angela was. ---Inside, Angela returns to the bar. Warren can see she looks desheveled and asks her what's wrong. She says that she ran into Gina in the ladies room and it dawns on Warren why Lily paid him a visit. Angela is furious when she finds out Lily was there as well and says she's ready to leave. Warren pays the bill and they head to the car, with Lily spying on them in the parking lot. (EXT: West Palm Beach, FL- Maureen's Hotel Room) ---Mason strides past both ladies into the room and takes a seat. He looks at both Mary and Maureen. "Mason, I told you to please wait downstairs in the bar for me......" "Oh, I've been there Mary, it case you couldn't tell. But I wasn't going to leave you alone for too long with her- especially after what's happened......Why am I explaining myself? Let's cut to the chase- Where the hell is your son? And don't you even try and tell me that you don't know....." "MASON!" Mary admonishes. Maureen tells her that it's quite alright, she doesn't think Mason is out of line in the least. Mason says how noble that is of her to point that out, considering she obviously knew that Mary was in a coma, knew that Mark was setting him up, and didn't do a thing to stop any of it. "You're right- I didn't. God help me, I didn't. He's my son. He may be a monster or a sociopath or a rapist or any one of those ugly things that you may think of him- with every reason. But to me, he's my son. And I love him, and wanted to protect him." "And what about OUR child? Mine and Mary's! Who was protecting our baby girl? MARK!?!" "I'm sorry, your child? I thought the baby was Mark's......" Maureen wonders. "That's what we all thought, Maureen. But your son, YOUR son............the baby was born fully developed. She was not premature, as she would have been had Mark been the father...." "May I ask how you know this?" she asks. "How WE KNOW.......How We......What does it matter HOW we know, WE KNOW, Maureen. And you seem to know too, maybe more than we do...." "I'm sorry. I just didn't see how you would have learned all of that, is all. Honestly, that's the first I've heard of any of those things.." "Mason hired a P.I., Maureen, who tracked down nurses that cared for me at the clinic. One of them led us to a nurse here, in West Palm Beach...." "Oh, so she has gotten to you, no wonder...." "What do you mean she's gotten to us?" Mason asks "You mean you know Sh-" "Nurse Sherri Rhodes? Yes I know her- all too well. She's Mark's WIFE!" Mason and Mary look at each other, stunned by the revelation. (EXT: London, England) ---Sophia stares Pamela down, insisting that her question be answered. Pamela responds that she recently went back to using her maiden name, Lowell, after years of being Addie Conrad. She explains that her husband died many years ago and it was time to free herself completely. "And why did you feel the need to do that exactly?" Sophia asks. "Excuse Me?" Pamela asks. "Oh don't play innocent with me. You think I haven't been watching you since you arrived? Your stares at Edmund- the looks you've been giving him? Not to mention your level of familiarity with my housekeeper. That's why you've been hammering at me with all of these questions- you were after my husband! You were hoping that I would DIE in that coma so you could sink your claws into him. Isn't that right Ms. Lowell?" Pamela smiles at her long-time, now-brainwashed rival. "Oh I wanted your husband, Loretta. Make no mistake about that." Pamela lights up, noting the irony of what she's saying. "And if I wanted him right now, I could have him. Without question, without hesitation. At the snap of a finger, really. So if I were you, I'd watch your step with me...." "You cold, callous Bit-" "DESSERT!!!" Christine announces, entering with cake. THE END.................FOR TODAY....................don't miss the final part of this arc TOMORROW!!!!!
  8. You'll know when Victoria debuts, likely next Wednesday!
  9. MEADOWS BALKS!!!!!! In what came as quite a shock to executive producer/creator juniorZ, Kristen Meadows declined an offer to join Return to Santa Barbara for a short stint. What was the breaking point? Word around town is that Ms. Meadows reps were more interested in her taking the role than she was. While Meadows loved the cast and crew, she's the first to admit that she didn't have the best rapport with the fans and unfavorably recalls the letters she received from many and the reactions she received in the streets. While she'd love to work with Walker, Davies, Grahn and many of her other old friends, she just felt it best for her to lay the character to rest, as she had years ago. What does this mean for RTSB? "We're forging ahead- actually Victoria has been cast. I'm disappointed we were unable to strike a deal with Kristen- obviously she was my first choice. While I was never fond of Victoria, or Kristen in particular, the reality is that Meadows has everything to do with why I could never sympathize with or like Victoria Lane. Which is a necessary quality for the part." But wait? Did we read that quote right? Victoria has already been cast? She has and we at SONBC have been asked to keep a tight lip about the actress who landed the part. But we just can't resist giving out a little tidbit: the Santa Barbara fans will be pleased and certainly will have no more reason to sympathize with the new actress than Meadows. STAY TUNED.............. Oh- and don't miss the second part of yesterday's episode between 8-9:30 PM TONIGHT (U.S. Eastern Standard Time)
  10. http://santabarbara-online.com/GeneriqueDebutUS.rm GET SB ON TV!!!!! (EXT: The Lair) ---Gina walks into the surprisingly crowded bar. She looks around and finally spots Lily, sitting at a small round table toward the far end of the bar. She approaches her daughter and takes her seat with her, ordering a gin & tonic from the waiter. "I can't believe the business in this place- I didn't even realize it was still open....." Gina muses. "It wasn't, actually. It had closed down about a year ago, but then this mysterious, anonymous buyer moved in on it just a few months ago, renovated, and re-opened it a few weeks ago, keeping the name intact...." "Whoever it was...it looks great. So why did you want to meet here? I'm always happy to spend time with you, Lily- but something in your voice told me it might be more than that......" Lily explains that she thought Gina might be feeling a little down, after Keith & Elizabeth's big announcement, and could use a night out on the town. Gina appreciates the sentiment, but tells her daughter she's fine and comments that the men that frequent The Lair wouldn't exactly be her bag. Lily covers, saying that there's plenty of wealthy businessman that frequent there after-hours, which would be right up her ally. Gina again is skeptical of Lily and turns things around, asking how she's doing. Lily doesn't answer her, as she is obviously distracted. Gina turns around to see what she's looking at and see's Warren Lockridge and Angela Capwell sitting down for a drink. "Suddenly, this picture is becoming MUCH clearer to me......" Gina snarks. ---Across the bar, Warren and Angela order their drinks and take their seats at a lower-lying table. Warren asks Angela what exactly has her so upset. "It's Ted..." she answers. "Eh, Capwell, I should've known. What's he done now?" "I'm not sure, actually, maybe nothing...." "He's obviously done something if you're this upset, Angela." Angela tells him of the phone calls she made to Ted in New York. She explains that he lied about having seen Laken twice throughout the conversation and was blatantly trying to hide it from her. Angela also tells Warren of the rockiness they've been going through in their marriage, ever since Sophia's death. Warren tells her that it's natural for someone to go through a period of depression, and take some of that depression out on their spouse. Angela says that it's gone beyond that- they haven't even made love, and now he's lying to her about his ex-girlfriend. "Who happens to be my sister, Angela. Ted's a very married man. There is no way that Laken would get involved with him in that way- she's just not that kind of person...." "I'm sorry, Warren, but frankly, I don't know her very well, so how do I know that for sure? I could believe you and take your word for it- Fine. But that doesn't excuse Ted's behavior or his lying to me about her. If he were honest in the first place, I'd have no reason to be upset. But he wasn't honest, Warren, not in the least. Even if they haven't made love, if they aren't having an affair....I still......I have to wonder if he's cheating on me in his....... in other ways..." "What other ways? What other way is there?" "You're really going to make me say it? Alright fine. In his Heart, Warren. He's cheating in his heart..." "My God, Angela Cassidy Raymond Capwell- was that a soft side I just saw?" "Don't tell anyone...." (EXT: West Palm Beach, FL- Maureen's Hotel Room) ---Mary approaches the door to Maureen's room. She hesitates before knocking, but pulls herself together and does. Maureen opens the door, and greets her. She and Mary take a seat at the small table in the room. Maureen offers her something to drink and gets them each a bottle of water. There's a short period of silence between the two women. "I half-expected that you wouldn't come. Or if you did, your friend Mason would be with you...." Maureen says "Actually, he's downstairs at the bar. He insisted that I not come to the hotel alone, but I wouldn't allow him to come up here with you." "He's very protective of you." "Yes, he is. After losing me once, and everything Mark did to keep us separated...........Oh my God, you probably don't know, I should explain...." "There's no need. I'm well aware of everything that my son did to you Mary and I cannot express to you how sorry I truly am. Even though he was still your husband at the time, he had no right to hide you like he did, to keep you from Mason and the rest of your loved ones, even if he did save your life." "He saved it, alright, and made sure that when I woke up, I'd have no chance at a future with Mason......" she stops herself before becoming overly emotional. "It was a cruel, methodical thing he did to you and I am sorry for it. But there's some things that need explaining, I believe....some holes that I'm sure you must want filled in." Mary agrees and asks about the story that Maureen told her, about Mark killing his father. Maureen explained to Mary that as abusive as Jim was toward her, she didn't care. It was how he treated Mark and the way he made Mark feel about himself that upset her. Maureen tells her that Jim came from an abusive, alcoholic father, who had died years before. He had no siblings, and his mother had died as a child, so he had no living relatives. Rather than having a traditional funeral and burial, she decided to instead have him buried in the woods behind their home. She hired two men to bury him, buying the lowest-grade casket possible. She did her best to shelter Mark from everything, but he did see what the two men were doing one day and asked her point blank about it. She told him that it was actually an deer that was being buried, but knew she probably was unable to convince him of that. Maureen tells Mary she lived in that house for years after, and in fact, still lives there today. She explains to Mary that she was stunned when one day, 19 years ago, long after Mark had left home, she found that Jim's casket had been dug up! (EXT:London, England) ---Edmund, Sophia, and Pamela all sit around the dinner table as Christine serves them each their soup course. Pamela comments on how delicious it is. "You like it Addie? It's Edmund's favorite recipe........or at least it was." Sophia says. "It very much still is dear. I'm just glad our guest is enjoying it as well." "Oh I am, believe me, I am. It's all....quite delectable. So, Loretta. Tell me about you." she shoots Edmund a look and he smiles back. "How did you meet your husband here?" Sophia launches into a detailed account of how she met him in Santa Barbara, when they were in college. She tells how immediately taken she was with him when they met. Sophia says that she even remembers everything Edmund was wearing the day she first saw him- and rattles off his entire outfit. Pamela looks at Edmund and he nods in affirmation. "My, for someone who's been in a coma for so long, you have what seems to be a photographic memory...." Pamela muses. "Mrs. L always did, Mrs. C" Christine says, re-entering the room to clear the plates. "I always told her she should be an investigator or a cop, because she always paid such attention to details...." "THANK you, Christine- that's really quite interesting. It just surprised me that, after being little more than an invalid for so long, that a person could wake up with such a clear head. That's all." Pamela shoots back. Sophia politely tells Pamela that she sees where she could think such a thing, especially after what she's been through, but assures Pamela that her mind is clear and that she's never felt better. "That's......so.....wonderful for you dear, really it is." "STEAK COURSE" Christine announces. Pamela rolls her eyes and then sees Sophia and Edmund are watching her. She tries to cover, smiling politely at both. (EXT: West Palm Beach, FL- Maureen's Hotel room) ----Mary asks Maureen why someone would want to dig up her long-deceased husband- more importantly, why would Mark want to. Maureen tells her she wondered the exact same thing. She knew that it had to be Mark and was determined to find out why he did what he did, so she tried tracking him down and was stunned when she found out that he was presumed dead- had been, apparently, for some time. But when reading the article, it dawned on Maureen why Mark had dug up Jim's body...... "My God..." Mary realizes "THE BONES!" "Exactly" Maureen replies. Suddenly, they hear a scream from the hallway. "THAT SON OF A B!TCH ISN'T GETTING AWAY WITH THIS!!!!!" Mary looks at Maureen. Maureen hurries to the door, with Mary behind her trying to stop her. Maureen flings open the door and they see Mason standing on the other side of it. "MASON!" Mary says. Maureen looks at Mary and then at Mason. "WELL" Mason says "Is SOMEBODY going to invite me in" THE END................for TODAY- look for Pt. 2 of this episode tomorrow night And be sure to listen to IN THE ZONE tonight, as I'm filling in as co-host with Ryan Chandler. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/in_the_zone

  13. http://santabarbara-online.com/GeneriqueDebutUS.rm GET SB ON TV!!!! (EXT: Baja, Mexico- HOTEL) ----Eden sits on the phone while Julia, Adriana, and Steve sit around the room, all with solemn looks on their faces. Eden hangs up and informs everyone that it was the investigators on the line. The DNA test is underway as they speak and should be done in about an hour. Julia asks if they gave any indication as to whether it's a match, but Eden tells her that they have no way of knowing until the test is complete. Julia tells Eden to keep strong, but she admits to being extremely anxious. "Mrs. Castillo, I know I don't know you very well, but for what it's worth.......I hope everything works out today..." Steve says. "No, you don't know me very well. Or my husband. I didn't mind having you stay with us, Steve, since you were a friend of Adriana's, but with everything going on...." "Sure. I understand- I can hit it....." Steve walks out the door. "Why would you do that?" Adriana asks, "He was only trying to....." "He shouldn't BE here Adriana. You really shouldn't be either, but since you ARE here...." "He's my FATHER, mom, I'm exactly where I should be. And Steve......" "Is going exactly where he should go..." Eden again interrupts. Adriana looks at her mother and then hurries out after Steve. Eden asks Julia if she did the right thing and Julia tells her it doesn't matter- this is her husband and Adriana's father, she has every reason to lash out and every right to her privacy. Eden remarks that she found it odd that a total stranger would stick around as long as Steve did anyway. Meanwhile, Adriana catches up with Steve outside and attempts to talk him out of leaving. Steve insists that Eden was right- he shouldn't be there. "Please- according to her, I shouldn't be here either. She's just upset is all....." "OF course she is, Adriana- her husband could be dead. I'm sure she's going through hell, which is exactly why she doesn't need some stranger around, commenting and being a nuisance...." "You're not a nuisance....." Steve insists that he should go and Adriana informs him that if he's leaving, she's going with him. Steve does his best to talk her out of it, telling her she should be at the hospital when the results come in. Adriana agrees she should, but says after those results do come in, either way, there isn't anything left for her to do in Mexico. She asks him if he'll wait long enough so they can drive back together. Steve tries to wiggle out of it, saying that Eden wouldn't appreciate him being around the hospital after she asked him to leave. "Then you can wait in the car while we're inside......and she won't know the difference. Please. I'm gonna go crazy if you leave me here alone with her......." Steve looks at her and cracks a smile. "You can be pushy when you wanna be, you know that princess?" "Only when I really want something....." (EXT: Capwell Enterprises) ----Angela sits on her phone, hearing the ringing tone and hoping Ted will pick up. He does and the screen splits between the two of them. Ted apologizes for not returning any of her calls sooner, saying that he's been busy with meetings and dinners with contacts. "Oh, sure, that's fine Ted. You're busy up there, I understand....." "Your tone doesn't sound too understanding...." "There is one thing that's bothering me and perhaps you could help me with it. If you're so busy that you can't return any of my phone calls, when exactly have you had time to 'entertain' Laken Lockridge?" "Laken? I....haven't........what gave you that idea?" "What gave me that idea? She answered the phone when I called your suite last night......" "Oh....that....." Ted explains that she had called him earlier in the day and wanted to meet for dinner, but it was completely innocent. Angela wonders, if it was so innocent, why he didn't just tell her immediately when she called him on it. Ted insists she's making something out of nothing, but Angela disagrees. She tells him that he was distant when he left town and now he's hiding rendezvous with his ex-girlfriend from her. What is she supposed to think? Right then, Laken walks into Ted's room and asks him if he's ready to leave. He tries to quickly cover the receiver of the phone and tells her he will be in a minute. He gets back with Angela, but she's quiet. "Angela?!? Angela?!? Baby?" "Oh, I'm here Ted. That was her that just walked in wasn't it......" "Walked in where? Her? What are you talking about....." "You really take me for a fool, don't you? GOOD-BYE TED!!!" She hangs up the phone and looks up from her desk to see Lily there smiling. "Lovers quarrel?" Lily taunts. "You really need to get a life of your own Lily and back the hell off of mine!" "He's really got you rattled, doesn't he? Lemme guess.... I was right about Laken- he was with her, wasn't he?" "Get out of here...." "He WAS! Oh my, my, my.......and let's see, knowing Ted Capwell, he probably tried to deny it, and made you feel guilty for even asking, since noble, faithful Ted wouldn't EVER cheat on anyone......Isn't that right, Angela?" "Go to hell!! And GET OUT OF HERE!!!! NOW!!!!" "Alright, I'm going, I'm going. Oh.....and Angela........it couldn't have happened to a more deserving whore." "GET OUT OF HERE YOU B!TCH" Lily walks out, shutting the door behind her. Through the window, she sees a distraught Angela pick up her phone and start dialing. She hurries to the break room, and listens in on the call. "Warren- it's me........Yeah, well, you don't know the 1/2 of it..........can you meet me at the Lair for a drink tonight?.......8 o'clock.....sounds good.......bye......." Lily slowly hangs up the phone and smiles. "The Lair huh? Classy, Angela.......Real classy...." (EXT: Baja, Mexico- Hospital) ----Eden, Julia, Adriana, and some of the investigators sit in the waiting area, anticipating the results. Eden looks at the clock as it ticks closer to 4 PM. She is completely unnerved when she sees Kirk Cranston approaching. She gets up out of her seat and walks toward his line of direction. "Eden....Eden don't do anything you'll...." Julia says, but Eden begins talking over her. "STOP. You stop right there. What exactly do you think you're doing? Why on earth would you possibly show up he..." "I have as much right to be here as anybody- It was MY Yacht that exploded, remember?" "How could I forget?" "I don't like what you're insinuating- I'm as much of a victim in this as you are...." "As much of a........ I knew you were low Kirk, but THAT's low even for you. You lost a yacht- I may have lost the LOVE of my LIFE! How can you even compare the two....." "I didn't mean to be insensitive, Eden- Look, I just meant that I'm being set up for this whole thing by a real pro......It's just as important to me as you that we find out who did this........and that we know for certain who was killed on my yacht....." Eden tells him that there is no "we". She'll find out who did this and he'd better pray that he's as clean in all of this as he claims. She coldly says that if she finds out he's been lying to her and had anything to do with Cruz's......disappearance, she'll make him wish he was never born. The investigator walks up and tells Kirk there were a few more questions he wanted to ask of him and Kirk happily complies. Julia comforts Eden, who's obviously beside herself. Santana comes flying down the hall and sees how distraught Eden looks. She looks around and sees Kirk talking to the head investigator. She asks if there's been any word yet and Eden says there hasn't. Suddenly, the lab technician comes out with the results. Eden, Santana, Julia, Adriana, Kirk, and the investigators all gather around him to hear what he says. "After a thorough comparative analysis of the DNA of the body found and the DNA of Commander Cruz Castillo, we have come to the conclusion that they are a..................................99% match, the highest possible probability....." "No.....It can't be..." Eden cries "No...........Not Cruz, not my.....my Cruz....." Julia walks up and tries to comfort Eden but she pulls away. "No, Julia, it can't be. They're WRONG! THEY'RE WRONG!!!" "Mama," Adriana says, trying to get a hold of her mother, "Mama, please" "No baby, NO, he can't be gone, HE can't. THAT'S NOT YOUR FATHER!! HE wouldn't die on me like this, he wouldn't leave me like this, Please, PLEASE- TELL them You MADE A MISTAKE! DO THE TEST AGAIN!!!" "I'm sorry Mrs. Castillo, but we run the test 3 times to ensure accuracy.......all 3 times, the results were the same. I'm very sorry ma'am" "No! NO!!!!!" Eden flings the door open to where Cruz's body lays, burnt beyond recognition. "CRUZ!!!! CRUZZZZ !!!! NOOOO!!!" she says as she wraps her arms around the massacred body. "PLEASE- GOD - NOOOOO!!!!" Adriana, Julia, Santana, Kirk, the investigators and the technician all look on as a distraught Eden rests her head atop the sheet covering her dead husband's body. Santana tears up watching her, and then gives Kirk a pained look. Kirk stares right back into her eyes, and then they both again turn their attention to Eden. 14. http://santabarbara-online.com/GeneriqueDebutUS.rm GET SB ON TV!!!! (EXT: West Palm Beach Airport) ---Mary is completely stunned when she realizes that Maureen is very much alive. She explains that Mark had always told her that he had no family, that both of his parents died in a tragic accident when he was young and that he had no siblings. Maureen tells her that this is partially true- Mark doesn't have any siblings and his father died when he was very young. But she's always been very much alive and raised Mark....up until he left home and never looked back. Mary wonders why he would have no contact with him. "You must understand, Mary, that our relationship......was strained at best, especially as he got older. Mark always wanted and needed my attention- attention that I couldn't always give to him. His father........(she pauses a bit, getting herself under control) His father treated me like a possession. Told me what to do, what to wear, who I could spend time with. He was a very powerful, influential man at the time but he had this dark side that only I knew about it. He was cold.....violent and threatening. Mark was so young, innocent and his father was quite proud of his son. But even as such a little boy, 4 or 5 even, Mark saw how I was treated. I was uneducated and though I wanted to pursue college, I married Jim......that's Mark's father....instead, with the intention of going back. But Jim..... He liked me where he had me, he was the educated one, he was the one with career and money and in those days, it wasn't exactly abnormal. He wanted to keep me under his thumb and that's exactly what he did......for a while...until....." Maureen stops herself. "Until what, Ms. McCormick? What happened?" Mary questions. "I became......restless. Jim was an extremely busy man and Mark had started pre-school, so I found myself with a little time on my hands. I began taking courses at the community college..........only 2, as I had to be sure they were scheduled at times where Jim would be tied up with work and Mark with his pre-school. I was beginning to feel good about myself when.....He found out. I had left one of my books out in my nursing room. I had always been so careful to put them away, but not that day....and he found it. Needless to say, he hit the roof, only this time, he became violent. He hit me so hard I went right over the changing table- he eventually beat me so badly that I blacked out........Mark......Mark found me I guess, I barely remember as I was in and out of conciousness at this point.......but Jim.....Jim had fallen asleep. Mark went into the study where he kept his gun........(she chokes up, trying to hold back)........I would've stopped him, I had no idea........I walked into the family room and there was Jim, dead, bleeding profusely from his head. And my Mark, my little Mark, sitting on the floor with a gun in his hand......I of course, called the police, and tried as best I could to explain everything that happened.....they interviewed Mark and had 3 different psychiatrists check him out, all of which reached the same conclusion, after speaking with him: He'd witnessed the entire thing, Mary. He watched his father beat me to a pulp from beginning to end. He ran for his father's gun, taking it and hiding, thinking Jim would use it on me to kill me. And the second he felt safe and Jim fell asleep........he shot him............." Mary tries to comfort Maureen. She then tells her that she doesn't understand how this relates to her in any way. Maureen tells her everything will make sense soon enough. Mason and Pearl begin to approach the two women. Maureen notices this and tells Mary she has to go, but gives her the name of the hotel and room that she's staying in. She urges her to come see her that evening and she'll answer all of her questions, hopefully shedding some light on a few things. Maureen takes off as Mason walks up. "We're all checked in. Who was that woman you were talking to?" "I'm not going anywhere, Mason." she replies. "What? What's going on? Who was that?" "Nevermind. You and Pearl go home, go ahead. There's something I need to do before I leave here." "I'm not leaving you here, Mary. " "Mason, please! I'll be fine....." "I'm sure you will.......because I'll be right here with you....." Mary tries to talk him into going, but Mason insists. They both agree that Pearl can go on ahead, as Mason wants him to start working on finding Mark. Pearl heads toward security as Mason and Mary leave the airport. (EXT: LONDON, ENGLAND) ---Pamela finishes putting her things away in her room. She skulks down the hallway by Sophia's bedroom. She hears the water running in a nearby bathroom and realizes she must be showering. She hurries down the back staircase, always checking behind her to make sure nobody is following or can see her. Pamela finally arrives at her destination: the kitchen. She finds Christine furiously chopping vegetables, in preparation for the soup course of the meal. Pamela quietly walks up behind her. "Hello Christine!" "AHHHH!!" "HAH-AHHHH!" Both women scream. "Will you BE quiet?!?" Pamela says to her. "Sorry Mrs. C- I didn't know it was you- How you been? Welcome to London- you look fantastic by the way..." "Nevermind, how I look, Christine, just what the hell has been going on here? I thought you were supposed to be my eyes and ears in this.........relic....." "Still am Mrs. C, still am?" "Then why is it I didn't know anything about "Loretta"?" "Isn't it wonderful Mrs. C? Dr. Lavery got his wife back, I have my old friend back......" "Has this whole emporium gone mad? SHE'S not Loretta- he's brainwashed SOPHIA, but make no mistake...." "I know what you're sayin, but I'm tellin you- she's the real deal. Loretta Mathis Lavery- there's not a shred of SO......Oh, Mrs. L- How are ya?" "Hello Christine. Ms. Lowell. What exactly is going on here, if you don't mind my asking?" Christine gives Pamela a look and Pamela innocently smiles at Sophia. (EXT: Mexico- CLINIC) ----Santana peeks in on the patient, bandaged up in intensive care and resting. She looks around her and heads back to the lab. She walks in and looks at some of the samples lined up. Suddenly, she feels a hand on her shoulder and whips herself around. "Relax, Santana, it's only me. No need to be afraid...." "Tell that to Cruz....." "Santana, when are you going to start listening to me? I had absolutely NOTHING to do with what happened to Castillo....couldn't be further from the truth. But I'll tell you- the people that did.....they're out there and they're dangerous. Extremely dangerous.....' "Why should I believe you? Why are you telling me this Kirk? What's your motive?" "If, and I mean IF, Cruz IS alive, and these people get wind of it..........there's no telling what they'll do.....actually, there is- they'll hunt Cruz down and they'll finish what they started. If they were to find out you were helping him.....I'd hate to see the look on your poor mother's face if that happened...." "Is that some kind of threat?" Kirk corrects her, telling her it's more of an ultimatum. The DNA tests are about to go down and if Cruz's DNA doesn't match, he'll be hunted down in no time, no question- whether it be by Eden, or by whoever tried to kill him. Either way, she stands to lose plenty if that happens. Santana asks him how she can be sure they won't be caught and how she can be sure she can trust him in the first place, considering he may be the one who wants Cruz dead. Kirk reminds her that he's known for a couple days now about this mystery patient who may or may not be Cruz and has yet to make any attempts on his life. He also tells her it does him no good with Eden if Cruz turns out to be alive and it turns out he knew about it. "I should have known. That's your motivation for involving yourself in all of this- Eden!" "Of course. Eden's.......very special to me....she was my wife once.....some of the happiest days of my life.....I'd be lying if I said I didn't want her back...." "Badly enough to kill her husband to do it...." Kirk grabs Santana by her arm. "I've done NO SUCH THING! And you of all people can attest to that, can't you Santana? So why don't you just do us both a favor and stop playing games and give me What I CAME HERE FOR!!!!" Kirk and Santana exchange in an intense stare-down. (EXT: London, England) ----Sophia again asks Pamela and Christine what's going on. Pamela apologizes, explaining that she was just astonished to visit her old friend Edmund and see that his wife was back on her feet, since she'd been comatose for years. Sophia says that it doesn't explain why she's in the kitchen, commiserating with Christine. "I was just asking Christine some questions about you is all. I admit, I'm quite curious...." "I can understand your curiosity, Addie, but I'd prefer it if you took the more direct approach: any questions you have about me should be asked of me, not Christine." Sophia says. "You're absolutely right, Loretta, I apologize. I just didn't want to bombard you with all sorts of questions is all. I didn't want you to think me to be rude in any way....." "Not at all. I'm sure we'll have plenty of conversation at dinner tonight. In any event, I was looking for you because Edmund would like to see you, in his study." "Well then I won't keep him waiting....." "I'd be happy to continue this talk with you, perhaps over a cocktail before dinner..." Pamela looks at her. "Sure. I'd like that." Pamela heads out, but not before shooting Christine a look. "What was she asking you?" Sophia/Loretta asks Christine. "Just about you, Mrs. L- what you've been like since you've been awake, if you're the same as I remembered ya...." "Am I? Am I how you remembered me Christine? I feel as though I've slept an entire lifetime away......sometimes I'm not sure what I'm supposed to act like, to be like...." "You're not supposed to act like anything, Mrs. L. You're just supposed to be you, best as you can. I think you've had a remarkable recovery- and it's good to have you back. Does that answer your question?" "Yes, yes it does......This Addie Lowell, I don't know that I trust her though......She seems a little too.....interested in the situation. I actually think she's a little too close to my husband....." "Dr. L? No way....He wouldn't be interested in someone like her......Besides, I happen to know that he's very much in love with you....." "I hope so Christine. I hope so....." (EXT: West Palm Beach, FL) ----Mary and Mason sit in a restaurant as she explains everything that Maureen told her. Mason cannot believe the story so far, but wonders how much it could be related to their child and everything Mark has done. Mary tells him that Maureen insisted that everything would make sense once she explained. Mary pulls out the paper with Maureen's information on it and dials her phone. Maureen picks up and tells Mary to meet her in her hotel room for dinner. Mary agrees to be there at 6 PM. She hangs up the phone and Mason insists that he's going with her. "I don't think that's a good idea, Mason. I don't want her to clam up on me- I think it's best if I do this alone....' "You're not even sure who you're dealing with, Mary. She could be dangerous....." "She's not dangerous, Mason, believe me. I'd know it. She is cautious, however, and certainly reserved. For whatever reason, she opened up to me, which means she feels comfortable with me, for some reason, even trusts me. I'm not going to close down those lines of communications by having skeptical you in her face, questioning everything she says, arguing with her....." "Would I do any of that?" Mary gives him a look. "Alright, alright, I'll stay put. Just promise me you'll be careful and that you'll call me AS SOON as you leave there...." "I promise...." She begins to walk away when Mason turns her around and surprises her with a passionate kiss. They pull back and she, uneasy on her feet, stumbles her way out the door, as Mason playfully stares at her, keeping her off-balance. THE END...............for today Sorry it's so late- took an extended nap during normal people time.
  15. Funny that she doesn't really mention Jed. Perhaps he's been 'upstaging' her again....
  16. By the way, she mentioned, off the record of course, that she misses all the letters and would love to hear from you both. She also joked that she'll be looking for her bouquet of flowers on April 25th, when she doesn't receive her SONBC Award nomination.....
  17. Is she Loretta? Is she Sophia? Just what is going on with RTSB's matriarch, Sophia Capwell, and will she ever return home to her loved ones? We sat down with Judith McConnell and got into all of this, including her SONBC Award pre-nom. SONBC: Welcome Judith. It's such an honor to get to meet you like this. Judith: Thank you very much. What a nice thing to say? SONBC: You've been a very busy lady over on RTSB since its inception. Judith: I sure have and I couldn't be more pleased by that. I'll admit that, like many others, I was skeptical when I heard the idea and was approached about it. Of course, I was dying to revisit Sophia, but I wasn't sure I'd want to go there if the writing was going to change her or possibly ruin what we accomplished on 'Santa Barbara'. But after having met him and seeing how enthusiastic he was about the characters of CC & Sophia, how could I not sign on? SONBC: I can see you feel you've made the right decision. Judith: Positively. I couldn't ask for a better storyline- Greg has actually set up multiple things for Sophia, all of which I couldn't be more excited to play. Right now though, I've gotta say, I'm having a blast kicking up my heels and playing an entirely different character. I love Sophia, but this thing with Loretta has been a nice break and challenge for me. SONBC: It's strange what's happened to you- we've actually had to watch the process of Sophia being manipulated and then hypnotized into thinking she's Edmund's late wife Loretta.... Judith: Actually, I knew this was coming. Greg warned me about it upfront and I loved the challenge of it. I did mention to him that the timing of it seemed a little odd, since things were just starting to cook with the introduction of my sister, Elizabeth, but I get what he's doing, I really do. Because of this middle area, this little Loretta adventure, my storyline will be that much stronger when Sophia does get her memory back and returns to Santa Barbara.... SONBC: So you're saying this Loretta/Edmund thing isn't gonna last forever ? Thank God.... Judith: I don't see how it can- Sophia will have to get her memory back sometime no? Actually, we've got a little ways to go but long-time SB fans will enjoy how it all plays out. A character from the past will return for it, someone they may not expect, but will surely enjoy. SONBC: We heard about the SONBC pre-nom. Congratulations! Judith: Thank you very much. Back in the 'SB' days, it was always the other girls competing and I was always more than happy for all of them. However, I will say that it was nice to be recognized this time around. Marcy and A were both so happy for Jed & I. Oh, how I missed all of them the past 14 years. It's such a joy to be reunited with them like this, to be taking this ride with them again, yet it's all new again for us. We're all so lucky and grateful for what we've been able to regain. SONBC: They re-cast Elizabeth right around the time of Sophia's "death". How do you feel about Deborah Adair? Judith: I'll admit that I really enjoyed working with Christine (Tudor Newman, ex-Elizabeth). She was someone I'd always admired as an actress and we worked well together. With that said, I think Deborah is wonderful and I can't wait to work with her more. We've re-shot the scenes of Elizabeth's abortion and those leading up to it, but that's all that we've really worked together. SONBC: Interesting that you mention the abortion development.....Color me STUNNED. Judith: Again, I knew it was coming. Greg was forthright with me about the bible he had for Return to Santa Barbara and I had no problem with this or anything else we talked about. It adds another layer to Sophia. She wasn't a very nice young woman in her day and did whatever she had to to get what she wanted, not caring who she stepped on along the day. I was a little concerned at first, but I really do get it. Plus, I absolutely LOVE that we're finally seeing some of what Sophia's home life was like. As I said, they're doing A LOT of exploring with my character, which is more than I can say for the last writer we had on SB. SONBC: Anything you've particularly enjoyed so far? Judith: I've really enjoyed the relationship between Rosa and Sophia. Before, it was always implied, but not really shown. Margarita is a wonderful actress and those scenes come so naturally for the two of us. I also have got to say that they've really gotten it right with the casting of Carmen Duncan as Pamela Conrad. Don't get me wrong, I loved Shirley Anne and Marj, but Carmen's Pamela is someone that really can go toe to toe with Sophia. Though I didn't submit much with her for the pre-nomination, if I do indeed break through and get a nomination, I'll definitely submit an episode with her as my second. SONBC: Can you give us any tidbits on what's coming up? Judith: Sure. Loretta is going to continue on with Edmund and they will grow much closer, acting more like husband and wife than they have been. Also, some more familiar faces will be seeing Sophia in action as Loretta, which I'm looking forward to. And I happen to know for a fact that May is going to be HUGE. There's a remote planned in London involving many characters in the cast that we're all really looking forward to. It's going to be a lot of fun, and a reunion of sorts, when that surprise character I've been telling you about makes their way back to RTSB. SONBC: Can't wait! Thanks so much for the interview. Hope we can do it again sometime! Look for this series to continue next Sunday, as each week, an interview with a SONBC Award pre-nominee will be posted!!!!
  18. I know they will Tish, but I feel really bad about it. I hate saying I'm going to do something and then not doing it........ it's not who I am and not how I want to be perceived by others. It just sucks because the stress I'm under on some days can effect the writing, which is probably why I haven't posted as often lately. At the same time, I really want to move my stories along and if I don't keep posting, I can't do that...... Anyhow, I'm not going to post a schedule this week- I'm just going to take it day by day...... I'll update the schedule daily, to let you all know if & when there will be an episode each day. I still have a 4th episode I'd like to do for this week, so who knows? I may put it up tomorrow......or I may just do some kind of news item. In any event, I sincerely apologize for not being able to post one for the past 3 days.....
  19. I look forward to your return. Though I'm behind on reading all the blogs right now, yours is one of my faves for sure. Do what you got to do and can't wait to start reading again when you return....
  20. I'm sorry you guys but I don't think RTSB will be back until Monday. I really hate this but I don't want episodes to suffer because of my personal problems.
  21. His name is Greg and he's had an extremely rough couple of days at work. Many of you know that I wait tables. For the past two days, I've had a manager berate me, personally attack me, and send me home because of extremely small and questionable instances. Both times, she deliberately pushed my buttons in an attempt to get a rise out of me and cause me to lose control. Both days, I somehow was able to maintain my composure, which of course, only infuriated her more. In 10 years in the restaurant business, I've never been treated so horribly and disrespectfully. She even went so far as to follow me through the restaurant, trying to provoke me, which many of my customers saw. Additionally, she went out of her way to remind me that she is in the position of power, not I. I'll let you all in on a little something about me: I'm direct. Blunt. To the point. You'll always get a straight answer from me, though you may not like what you hear. I'm also very articulate and choose my words carefully when I speak. I say what I mean and I mean what I say, particularly in a work environment. My manner can be intimidating to some, and a breath of fresh air to others. But everyone, like me or not, is well aware that I don't take any sh!t from anyone- I'm not afraid to put a person in their place. Now I would never go out of my way to do such a thing. But I'm certainly not someone you want to provoke because it IS something that you'll regret. HOWEVER, being an actor and an observer, I'm well aware of people's motivations for doing things and I can tell when someone is trying to get that rise out of me, to get that reaction. And when I see someone coming at me like that, trying to razzle me, it actually empowers me. Gives me control over the situation- I'll stay calm and cool under pressure. I will calmly, pointedly, and articulately tell you what's on my mind without being overly aggressive or yelling or screaming. And the same thing happens every time, specifically with that human behavior: The person gets so angry, they are unable to even see straight and UNLEASHES on you. That's what's been going on with this b!tch the past couple of days. The stress that her attacks have caused me have actually made me physically weak, both days. This is a person that I have trusted in the past, gotten along with and even looked out for, which is why it has hurt all the more. But her behavior is beyond reprehensible. We work a very similar schedule and I really don't want to have to change my schedule or my job to accommodate her. At the same time though, it's not worth putting myself through this just for some serving job in a restaurant. Anyway, just needed to get that off my chest. Any comments/thoughts/suggestions/discussion would be appreciated. BTW.....I'm not gonna post an episode today you guys. I'm really sorry, but I just can't write it today. HOWEVER, I've cut out the Saturday double for the time being so I will post tomorrow. (She's off for the weekend, so I don't foresee any problems )

  23. http://santabarbara-online.com/GeneriqueDebutUS.rm GET SB ON TV!!! (EXT: Capwell Enterprises) ---CC sits at his desk, thinking about the conversation he had with Kelly at breakfast. He vows that Edmund Lavery will not destroy his family like he did his own. Kathleen buzzes him and informs him that Elizabeth is there for their meeting. He says to send her in and Elizabeth enters the office. "Well, Mrs. Timmons. Good morning....." "Good morning CC. I'm so sorry about that by the way...." "You have nothing to be sorry for- you live your own life, make your own mistakes. Doesn't affect me in any way." Elizabeth covers her disappointment by asking for her copies of the weekly reports and the files she asked for. He hands them to her and begins crunching the numbers with her. She becomes agitated by his business-like manner and finally, can take no more. "How can you--- How can you sit in here, with me, and act as though nothing's happened?" "I don't know what you're talking about...." "Like hell you don't! Our confrontation at Kelly & Ashton's reception? Ringing any bells yet?" "Oh....that. Haven't you said about all you had to say Elizabeth?" "Yes, but you haven't. You haven't spoken a word about it. I think we need to talk about it, CC. Don't you want some answers? It was your child too....." "How do I know that for sure?" "My God, you're as cold as they are. How could you even say that to me? My father and Sophia- they're one thing. But you were there, CC. I shared things with you that I hadn't shared with any man before you or any man since you. You were my whole world..." "And your sister's world too..." Elizabeth is angered by his selective memory and CC tells her that he doesn't appreciate all of this being dredged up years later, after Sophia has passed and while he's still mourning her. Elizabeth admits that it wasn't an ideal time for it all to come out but she stops short of apologizing for it. She says for her, it's been a bit of a relief, after carrying the burden on her own two shoulders for years. If nothing else, at least now she knows someone else is sharing that burden with her. CC cannot understand why she would go through with it. Elizabeth once again recounts how she begged her father and even Sophia not to make her do it, but her cries fell on deaf ears. CC cannot believe that Sophia would hurt her own sister in such a way. "Really? You know your view of her has become so clouded over the years- though you never were able to see her for what she was. Don't you get it CC? SHE was pregnant with a child she knew wasn't yours, but planned on passing off as such. The last thing she needed was her own sister, pregnant with your actual child. She was shrewd and calculating in those days, each move made with more precision than the next. She was a predator CC, and you were her prey. Only you were only too happy to fall into her web. I'm sorry, but that's the truth of the matter and after 40 years of living with her lies and manipulations, I thought you'd have realized that by now. But to do that, you'd have to admit you were wrong about her. And CC Capwell would never make such an admission. I went through Hell, HELL because of her, and I lost the one thing that was holding me together at the time- you. All at the hands of my own father and yes, My SISTER Sophia. And it hurt- boy, did it hurt.... Yet I look at you now and can't help but wonder if they did me a favor. Perhaps my judgement was clouded as you because when I was a girl, I thought you were the bravest man I'd ever known. But now, as a woman, I look at you and see the biggest coward I've met in my ENTIRE LIFE!!!" Elizabeth storms out of the office, upset. CC ponders what she said and picks up a picture of he and Sophia and stares at it, tenderly stroking her face with his finger. (EXT: London, England) ---Pamela stares at Sophia in sheer amazement. Sophia looks at her confused, still fishing for a reply. "I'm sorry, but you haven't introduced yourself yet......do I know you?" "Oh, no, I don't believe we've met. I'm ..... Addie. Addie Lowell, an old friend of your husband's. So nice to have finally met you, Loretta. Edmund's told me so much about you over the years." "Loretta, darling, tell Christine I'd like to have dinner at 7 PM tonight and choose the menu if you would....." "Oh, and do tell her to set an additional place for dinner. Edmund has invited me to join you, if that's alright with you." "Of course." She looks at them. "I'll let the two of you catch up. Oh and Edmund- I'd like to do a bit of redecorating, if that's alright with you. It needs some sprucing up, a woman's touch, something painfully missing in my absence." "Among many thing's I missed about having you around dear. That would be just fine with me." "Again, nice to have met you Addie." "Likewise" Pamela says. Once they're alone, Pamela demands some answers from Edmund. Edmund asks her if she's impressed with his work, and says it was a true test having someone that Sophia once knew all too well meet Loretta. Pamela reminds him that she's not really Loretta but Edmund insists she very much is. He says's there's even a remarkable resemblence between the two women. Pamela still doesn't understand why he did what he did. "Oh Pamela, sometimes I wonder if you even use that brain of yours. Did you honestly think that I was just doing all of this for you without there being anything in it for me? Surely you must have wondered...." "I thought you had the same motivation I did: Revenge. Mine on Sophia, and yours on CC...." "My wife is dead, Pamela, DEAD thanks to that man. Nothing Sophia did to you even remotely compares to that. But revenge, after the death of my love, my sweet, revenge is too cheap a price. What I wanted and what I've gotten is retribution. He took my wife from me and now I've done the same to him. Only this time, something good has come out of it.....no, something wonderful: Loretta." Pamela still doesn't completely understand what he's done and asks him to explain. He tells her about his manipulating Sophia into hypnosis sessions, where he then took her memories and replaced them with that of Loretta. He also explains that he treated and eliminated her aneurism, but kept her in the dark about it. Pamela asks him how he can be so sure that her memories as Sophia won't return. He admits that he can't, but the longer she remains in that environment and away from her loved ones, the chances of her memory returning decrease. Pamela remembers again why she came to see him in the first place and informs him that Kelly and Ashton are planning a trip there, and even planning on staying with him. She wanted to warn him before anything happened, so he could figure out what to do with Sophia. "Look around you Pamela- was the exterior of the house not enough for you? If ever there were a place where many people could stay and never see one another, THIS, this castle is it!" (EXT: West Palm Beach, Florida- Airport) ----Mary, Mason, and Pearl wait in the line to check in at the airport. Mason laments his disappointment with how everything turned out, especially for Mary. "I didn't get my hopes up, Mason, for this reason." "No, but we couldn't have asked for a worse case scenario, could we? Not only do we find out that the baby died, but there's a good chance that it was OUR daughter, our little girl, not yours and Mark's." Mary bows her head. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you." "It's alright" she says. "It isn't your fault. It isn't anyone's fault. At least we have some answers now, some certainty. We can put it behind us, at least that part of it, now." Mason concurs, however devastating those answers might be. Pearl apologizes for how things turned out and wishes aloud that there was something more they could have done. Mary grows frustrated at the long line and wanders off to the ladies room. Mason tells Pearl he's trying to be strong for Mary. He also tells him he wants him to do everything in his power to track down Mark for him. Pearl notes that Mary seems to want to leave it alone but Mason insists that he can't. As Mary is walking out of the ladies room, she feels a person grab her arm. She turns around and comes face to face with THIS PERSON!!!! "What do you want? Who are you?" "I have some information you've been looking for...." "Who are you?" "Maureen........Maureen McCormick?" "McCormick?" "Mark's mother....." Mary stands frozen, shocked to realize who she is. 25. http://santabarbara-online.com/GeneriqueDebutUS.rm GET SB ON TV!!! (EXT: The Capwell Mansion) ----CC lays in his bed, tossing & turning, apparently having a nightmare. He dreams about Sophia confronting Elizabeth about their affair. He looks into Elizabeth's eyes, seeing the pain on her face. He then glances toward their father, angrily looking down at his youngest daughter. Elizabeth tries to defend herself but Sophia slaps her across the face. Suddenly, the dream shifts to years later, after he & Sophia had reunited and remarried. He remembers laying in bed with her, talking about the children. She begins talking about how if she were ever to die, she'd hope that he find someone more suitable than Gina as a role model for her children. She begins to fade away and CC wakes up, startled. He looks next to him on the bed and sees the empty space where his wife slept every night with him. "Sophia, why did you have to leave me when you did? I need you.......now more than ever....." (EXT: London, England) ----Edmund walks down the stairs of his castle and heads down the hallway to the dining room. He's shocked by what he sees- Sophia is sitting there, fully dressed, with two beautifully decorated breakfast plates, complete with fruit, English muffins, and eggs topped with parsley. "Good morning darling. Did you sleep well?" "Fine- Loretta, dear, where did you find the time to accomplish all of this? How long have you been up?" "I thought it time I get back to my routine, don't you?" "Sure- I'm just surprised to see you fall into it so quickly, after the time that's passed." "Time indeed- I feel like I've slept my life away! But- I don't know how to say it- it's as though I woke up and knew exactly what to do. Christine, of course, had a lot to do with the breakfast and the setting of the table- I just instructed her as to what to prepare and what time to have it ready for you..." Edmund stares at her in sheer delight and walks up very close to her, staring her right in her eyes. He thanks her and leans down. She anticipates him kissing her but instead, he pulls her chair out for her to be seated. She awkwardly takes her seat and waits for him to be seated before beginning to eat. They begin chewing their food and sipping their tea. Edmund senses that Sophia is irritated with him. He asks her what's wrong. "It's nothing...." He gives her a knowing look. "Alright, there is something- it's just- I missed you last night. I thought you'd want to be close to me, as I've obviously been unconcious for some time. But instead, you leave me in our bedroom and retreat to one of the guest rooms...." "I just didn't want to rush things is all dear. You've been through a lot of trauma. You shouldn't be overwhelming yourself so soon...." "Don't you think I know what would be overwhelming to me? Shouldn't I at least be consulted on this ?" "Of course, I understand you're frustrated, but patience. There's plenty of time for all of that." She lets out an exasperated breath, which makes Edmund laugh and she along with him. They take in the moment and continue eating their breakfast. (EXT: Mexico- Santana's home) ---Santana, dressed in her hospital scrubs, is shown cleaning up the last of her dirty dishes before going to work. She grabs her purse and keys off of the table and opens her front door. "Going somewhere, Santana?" Kirk asks. "Yes. To work, if you don't mind." "To see our friend, 'the patient'?" "Among many other patients, yes. Just what are you driving at Kirk?" "May I come in? I think it would be best if we discuss this inside...." Annoyed, Santana waves him in with her arm, but tells him he's got 5 minutes. He asks if she has any coffee left and she says she doesn't. His eyes wander to the pot, which she promptly grabs and dumps down the drain. "All gone. Now what do you want Kirk?" Kirk reminds her that they're doing the DNA test on the man found in the ocean. Kirk also points out that if it turns out that the body found isn't Cruz's after all, she'd be sure to look up every hospital in the area and not give up until she hunts him down. He asks Santana how it would look if Eden discovered that Cruz was in the very hospital she's working at, and she didn't bother to tell her. "Is there a point to all this Kirk? Because you're time is about up and your patience is wearing thin....." "Ah, Santana, more stubborn than you were before. Years ago, we'd have wrapped this conversation up in 2 minutes flat but you've developed some sort of feistiness, which is quite unattractive by the way. Look, I think you and I want the same thing here - and I think we could scratch each other's backs here..." "I'd never do anything to help you Kirk. Or to hurt Cruz." "Cruz is already hurt......it's Eden that you need to worry about. I know people in this area Santana. I could easily, say, access the lab and even, I don't know, drop a tissue sample taken from a certain well done patient in that scraggly little clinic you work at....." "You really are deranged. You've worked this fantasy into some kind of plan now? Forget it- you're prying for something I'm not going to give you. So if we're done here, I need to be going...." She walks out the door and he behind her. As she locks it, he grabs her arm and turns her around. "The test is being done at 1 PM. I'll be by the clinic no later than 10 AM....just in case you change your mind..." Kirk gets into his car and takes off, as Santana stares at him driving away, shedding her tough exterior to reveal a frightened, nervous woman. (EXT: The Capwell Mansion) ----CC walks down the staircase and heads toward the dining room. He hears laughter in there and walks in on Ashton feeding Kelly her breakfast and the two of them giggling. Kelly notices her father standing there and turns Ashton around to see him. "Daddy, hi, good morning." "Morning kitten. Ashton." "Good morning Mr. Capwell." CC takes his seat and begins eating his breakfast. Kelly tells him that she and Ashton are planning on moving into the Capwell Hotel penthouse that day. CC says that he'll miss having her around, but she promises that she's not far away and will be close. He replies that he doesn't expect her, reminding her that he was once a newlywed. CC asks them if they've been on a honeymoon and Kelly admits they haven't, since they did everything so quickly. CC offers to pay for them to take one but Ashton mentions that he was planning on taking Kelly to London in the spring, as he has some business to tie up. He says that he'd thought they'd go to Paris for a few days as well, before going to England. CC asks why he'd already want to go back there. "My father lives there and I'd like very much for Kelly to meet him." "And I'm pretty anxious to meet him myself......" "What?!@? Edmund lives there?" "Yes, he hasn't been back to Santa Barbara in years, since my mother passed anyway. I was raised in the home he lives in now and I'd love for Kelly to see it." "Like hell- LIKE Hell she will. There is no way my baby girl is going to be staying with that man under any circumstances...." "Daddy! How could you say something like that? You don't even know him! I'm so sorry Ashton." "It's quite alright- but I do have to wonder- DO you know my father CC? From gauging your reaction...." "He lived in Santa Barbara while I lived here. I didn't know him personally, no, but friends of mind did......and, well, no slight to you son, but he's not the kind of man I'd want my daughter to be involved with in any way." "Funny you didn't mention anything about knowing him before...." Ashton muses. His cell phone rings and he excuses himself from the room. Now alone, Kelly admonishes CC for his behavior toward Edmund. "I'm only trying to protect you, pumpkin. That man........he's vile Kelly, someone you shouldn't mix yourself up with...." "He hasn't lived here in years daddy, so how do you even know? He may have changed since you knew him..." "People like Edmund Lavery don't change Kelly. Their minds only grow more twisted and diabolical through the years. Tell me....no, PROMISE me that you won't have anything to do with him....that you won't go to London with Ashton...." "I'll do no such thing and I can't believe you'd ask me to. Like it or not, Ashton is my husband and Edmund is his father. He's going to be a part of my life- He's my father-in-law now for crying out loud! This is just like you---classic CC Capwell, judging people based on their past and not even giving them a chance, despite what they may be in the present...." "There's a reason I live my life the way I do- and I'll tell you something, I keep low-lifes like Edmund Lavery out of it! I don't work so hard to keep them out of my life so my children can go and mix themselves up with them!" "Typical- stupid Kelly, doesn't know any better, can't see the forest for the trees. It's insulting- this is my life and he's MY husband. He makes me happy and if you can't be happy for me......" She gets up and storms out of the room, walking past her husband in the foyer and heading upstairs. "Look, I gotta go" Ashton says into the phone. "Keep me posted on it though- but if the opportunity arises and you cannot get a hold of me.....act on it- do what I'd want you to do......Good bye...." Ashton hangs up the phone and sees CC approaching him in the foyer. "You upset her....." "I did no such thing......I have every reason to not want my daughter near that man..." "Oh? Care to enlighten me as to what they are?" Ashton stares him down and CC begins to walk out the door. As he opens it, Ashton says "That's what I thought..." A pained look comes over CC's face looking ahead and the camera pans to a half smile coming over Ashton's. (EXT: London, England) ----Edmund & Sophia finish up their breakfast. Christine comes in to clear the plates and Sophia compliments her on how wonderful everything turned out. Christine thanks her and tells her it's good to have her back again. She smiles and says that Christine can thank her husband for that. Edmund smiles and approaches his wife. She stares into his eyes and he leans down and kisses her. As the kiss, the doorbell rings. Edmund comments that he wasn't expecting anyone and Sophia asks if he'd like her to answer it. He tells her not to and instructs her go over the menu for the rest of the day with Christine while he greets their guest. She tells him not to be long. Edmund answers the door and is stunned to see Pamela standing there. He is unable to even speak as she smiles. Her smile fades when she sees he isn't happy to see her. "Hello to you too, may I come in?" "Now isn't the best time Pamela. You really should have rang me before just showing up here like this...." "What difference? Besides, I wanted to come and check on the patient. How is Sophia anyway?" "Oh she's stable, still under, but I've eliminated most of the aneurism....." "Forget it. I think I've had a change of heart?" "What do you mean?" "Well what use do we really have for her now anyway? Everyone already thinks she's dead......why not take it a step further and....." "Kill her?" "Let her die...." Edmund is defensive, saying he didn't sign on to kill anyone. Pamela is shocked and says she surely thought he of all people would be up for this, especially after what CC did to his own wife. Edmund insists he will not stoop to CC's level. Edmund tells Pamela it's time she get going and that perhaps he'll meet her later on.. "I'm not going anywhere, not until I've seen Sophia. Why are you trying to get rid of...." Pamela stops dead in her tracks when Sophia walks into the room. "Oh. My. God." Edmund turns around and sees her standing there. "I'm sorry, Christine was confused about what time you wanted dinner prepared for so I thought I'd ask. I didn't mean to interrupt...." She turns her attention toward Pamela. "You must think my husband and I so rude......you could have introduced me, Edmund. I'm Loretta. Loretta Lavery." Pamela stands completely bewildered as she takes Sophia's hand. She shoots Edmund a look before again looking at Sophia, amazed. THE END...................for TODAY
