Interesting Fee played two different characters on two different soaps who infamously met very grisly ends. The Kit Vested story always intrigued me and I remember listening to audio of it. Kit had absolutely gone bonkers and passed into legend at GL’s first psycho.

All that needed to be said. When I first saw that viral photo spoiler I had to laugh out loud… it sounds like some dumb stuff Thudley would go to generate another lame Forrester “scandal”. LOL.

First up, Y&R: A dreaded sense of JT-sequence déjà vu occurs for Victoria and Nick when the Locke Ness Monster’s body goes missing! The two suspect Victor is involved, but the Moustache insists it’s “business as usual” as he desperately scrambles to cover his tracks! The unholy scheming alliance of Phyllis, Nikki and Ashley implodes, and Phyllis’ reunion with Jack will be threatened! Not so fast Red as Jack may now be driven closer to a delighted Diane that ever before! Devon and Nate find themselves completely at odds with each other, threatening to unravel the company as well as Devon’s relationship with Amanda! Imani takes full advantage of the situation when she launches a #TeamNate campaign, with Nate’s heart falling right into the palms of Imani’s hands! A twisted love triangle is on the horizon as Sally and Nick become closer much to Adam’s dismay, but it could develop into a quadrangle as Sharon navigates her way into both the Newman brothers lives! Lily is absolutely gobsmacked when she discovers Billy and Chelsea in a shocking position! Look for Michael and Lauren to receive some very unsettling news….. B&B: Finn and Steffy are finally happily reunited in Monaco! The joyous occasion will also bring Bill and Li closer together as well! Sheila’s fate is up in the air as she begs Deacon to help her escape from L.A. once and for all! Will Deacon help her before the Forrester family takes her out? A rather uncompromising photo of Deacon and Brooke is taken, and the photo goes viral on social media! This leaves an infuriated Ridge pondering his future with Brooke once more! As Eric and Donna savor their future, a bloodthirsty Quinn threatens the couple! An unhinged Quinn promises a messy split as she vows that her portrait will not come down anytime soon! Liam and Hope’s marriage is threatened when Thomas demands full custody of Douglas! Zende and Paris may have to make painful decisions about their futures in L.A.

If I recall right Russell Camden eventually became Snapper Foster per a story Bible i believe mikeylyons posted a couple years back. Bell’s biography made a point that he never used his mother’s name but I did find it interesting that of the three direct generations of WJB’s, none of the had the same middle name, just that all three middle names started with J (Jennings, Joseph, James)

A while back I had mentioned I recalled reading that Hilary was supposed to be the illegitimate daughter of Gus Rogan and Dru, someone had asked me on this board if I could find the direct source for that but unfortunately I could not, and now I can’t even remember who asked me about it lol. Maybe there was truth to it or maybe it was some heavy fandom speculation as opposed to fact but sounded more interesting on paper as opposed to what we saw play out. I like the initial craziness of Summer’s paternity as well with Phyllis seducing Kyle (I can’t remember if if was Hood or Sawyer now lol) in front of Summer lol. Switching it back to Nick because Sharon wanted revenge was fun but was total a cop out; the fact we had to see Sharon get electro shock therapy and then EVERYONE knowing Sharon had some horrible secret but she couldn’t remember what it was and then all of the sudden NO ONE wanted to know what it was lol. Back to Ashland this the point when if Ashland had like two additional kids from previous marriage would seriously come into play at. An Ashland Locke Jr would tell Sally and Summer he’s disgusted with his father’s actions and wants to protect Harrison from the Ashland’s infamy while tempting both Sally and Summer that he is far a better than either Adam and Kyle. Meanwhile Regina Locke has hated Victoria all along and she sleeps with stepbrother Reed in some twisted Cruel Intentions pact the two blame Victoria for Ashland’s downfall. LOL it’s hard to tell as JG was co-writing with MAB the whole duration. It was an immediate improvement over Latham but was very campy, and MAB successfully blamed JG for impeding her “vision”. I get the feeling about 90%+ was all MAB and not JG.

I wonder if it was because the Hendersons were too redundant once they were introduced? Regina sounded like a cross between Jennifer Brooks and Katherine to some extent while Bruce was immediately redundant once Bill Foster returned. Or Bell last minute decided they weren’t as interesting as the Foster class dynamic he had set up? Russell I believed was actually mentioned but as far as I know never appeared yet the name Russell appeared a lot in Bell’s story Bible as a Russell Camden. Apparently Lee Phillip was very close to her brother Russell Phillip so the name was obviously not lost on Bell himself but it never did get used in the end. Thanks @Broderickfor the information definitely appreciate reading it as always! Geona City had a population of 250,000 in 1973? Clearly not the small town feel of Oakdale or Springfield but I imagine Bell had something more along the lines of a Midwest city like a Grand Rapids Mi, Madison WI, or something like a Peoria IL in mind? Or maybe Bell could have set the show in some fictitious Chicago exurb where class, culture and race met on the front lines with Chancellor, Prentiss, Jabot and Newman all being officially headquartered in Chicago. I miss those days as well, pretty sure they stopped doing with Bell’s death as usually the show faded on his Senior EP credit along the the EP credit at the end. Interestingly Jon Conboy was doing the same thing at GL during his disastrous tenure there.

Shades of what caused JG’s 2012-2013 tenure to go off the rails. The show was building significant momentum with Summer’s paternity resurfacing, the Winters/Michaelsons dealing with a mysterious stalker from the past, and Adam dealing with a mysterious red headed femme fatale. Then JG abruptly decided to take the easy way out. Nine years later the show has more momentum again with Diane’s return, Nate and Imani building up to a possible affair, and Ashland becoming the new town villain…yet it looks like he’s taking the easy way out once again. Let’s hope he doesn’t barricade himself in his office again.

I see JG must have recently watched the first season of Falcon Crest on Amazon Prime 🤣🤣🤣 Sorry to see RN go a very disappointing end while MCE still hangs on. Griffin sucks and offers NOTHING. 💯💯💯💯

Reva being stood up at her wedding, walking around the countryside like Scarlett O’Hara with a Dionne Warwick song blaring, then getting hit by a car with newly returned Josh being the one to save the day? Just classic. Absolutely classic. I too enjoyed the Alex/Alan scenes from watching. Poor Mindy though, although I didn’t remember what a gap there was between Kurt leaving Springfield and Kurt’s death.

Yikes I had no idea Irizarry had gone through all of that. I had forgotten he was even on B&B a couple years back to begin with. Last I know I saw was on Days last fall when Deimos was briefly resurrected by the devil lol. Irizarry’s son made headlines last month again as he’s still in college here in SC and awaiting his federal trial for his January 6th involvement, but I don’t know if Vincent has anything to do with his son at all.

Speaking about rumors flying around about an upcoming death in the DiMera family, word on the street is Jake is going to die but Stefan will soon resurface. Not sure if that rumor is true or not after the fake decapitation rumor surrounding Abby’s death lol.

What a strange scene lol. I know Connie was played by at least three different actresses over the years (1987-2016), but Connie was definitely no Carol that’s for sure. Good to see Salena Wylie here hanging on as well although I believe this was the last story she was used for.

After seeing Bell in multiple interviews I don’t think I see him as some “monster” but he was a very candid person from what I’ve seen; I could see that off putting to some not use to that style, especially with Bell being from Chicago. I’m quite sure while Bell could be mellow he was definitely not one to be messed with; I recall that when EB and PB were feuding in 1992/93 Bell personally stepped in and threatened both of them, as someone put it in an anecdote “he showed them who the real diva of Y&R was”. Sally Sussman? I figured Bell adored her. Years and years ago I remember reading an anecdote that Bell felt betrayed by Sally by not only getting his blessing for her to create a new soap but also by the fact the new soap would would directly compete with Y&R in the 12:30ET slot. But I don’t know if that story is true or accurate at all. It sounded eerily similar to what happened between Johnny Carson and Joan Rivers. In any case I imagine any hard feelings were eventually forgiven as Sally eventually made her way back to Y&R in the early 00’s. LOL I do wonder when Irna said that Bell…I have to think that was after AW’s rocky first few months. I’m glad Kay remembered some good times about Reilly. I always thought Reilly definitely learned a lot during his time on Y&R. I’m curious about how Trent Jones came to Y&R and why his eventual HW stint didn’t work out/just petered out.

Apparently Nick and Sally will have scenes the week of July 25th.
