Omg the way that man chewed the scenery. I was shocked there was anything left after most of his scenes.

Whole seasons revolving around off camera off season antics and people that aren’t even cast members is KILLING these shows.

I despised Eric as Ethan. But honestly I hated just about every single recast from the original actors on Passions. I also hated when Eric replaced Kyle as Brady. I eventually accepted him. I’ve grown to appreciate Christel but I really liked Davetta who was definitely the perfect mini Dru. I actually liked that the temp recast understood Theresa was actually an awful person even as a fan of Lindsay.

I have no problem with the obvious person being the kidnapper. They’ve shown that Allison is unhinged so it makes sense. I don’t like twists just for the sake of it. Predictable doesn’t always equal bad.

The online black audience is so into the show. Outside of my own enjoyment, I’m so excited my people have a daytime drama full of other people that look like them and it’s actually entertaining to boot. I only pop in this thread on occasion now because I actually like the show and seeing so many people here not like it kinda takes the fun away for me.

I actually love the through line of Ric always loving Liz but letting Ric and Ava actually have some real time to scheme and love each other was still possible at the same time. Cody literally hasn’t had to do anything at all to break them up.

Liz reading Kristina’s dumb ass was the highlight of Friday. It’s always amazing to me how this ho will hop on a high horse with the self awareness of a 5 year old. I’m glad the show has people like Liz to call her out. Ugh I do not want Willow back with Drew or having him help her. She’s already completely forgotten this is all his fault.

They had Ava getting jealous of Ric and Liz and they’ve basically broken up. The show barely gave them a chance even though they worked perfectly onscreen and on paper.
