  1. Another insane twist to the Kevin Spacey fallout. Ridley Scott plans to completely cut Spacey out of the already finished "All the Money in the World," recast him with Christopher Plummer, and completely reshoot all of his scenes. The film is set for a December 22 release, and Scott is determined to have the film finished and ready for that date. Which is CRAZY. http://deadline.com/2017/11/kevin-spacey-dropped-all-in-the-money-in-the-world-christopher-plummer-ridley-scott-j-paul-getty-1202204437/
  2. It's worth noting that Heather Unruh's claims preceded the Rapp article so people can't claim she was jumping on the bandwagon. Also, her lawyer Mitchell Garabedian is known for representing victims of sex abuse from clergy members, and he was famously played by Stanley Tucci in Spotlight.
  3. Former Boston news anchor Heather Unruh has given a press conference outlining allegations that Kevin Spacey sexually assaulted her 18-year-old son in Nantucket last summer after plying him with alcohol. They are pursuing criminal charges.
  4. I'm not watching but apparently you can only watch on Amazon Prime? TC has been hyping this all year, and you can't even watch on their network? #MajorATPFail
  5. Jack Sock has a Masters 1000 singles title. Doesn't that tell you everything you need to know about the state of the ATP?
  6. Slightly OT, but Cecily Strong just skewered Erika Jayne aka "Candice" on tonight's SNL.
  7. There's no daytime world left to rock, and Paul Rauch has been dead for half a decade. Yikes, and now Richard Dreyfuss's son Harry has written an article for BuzzFeed in which he claims Kevin Spacey groped him *while his FATHER was IN THE ROOM*: https://www.buzzfeed.com/harrydreyfuss2/actor-harry-dreyfuss-when-i-was-18-kevin-spacey-groped-me
  8. Not that Hollywood is blameless, but I don't think there was any such award. I think this person was referencing a mistranslation from a Spanish-language website.
  9. Spacey sounds absolutely unhinged. That journalist's story of KS screaming at him is just astonishing. By the way, the executive who groped Terry Crews has been identified as Adam Venit of WME. He's the agent for Emma Stone, Diane Keaton, Adam Sandler, and, notably, Dustin Hoffman and Brett Ratner, among others. He's now on a leave of absence. http://variety.com/2017/biz/news/adam-venit-terry-crews-sexual-harassment-1202605857/
  10. Spacey has apparently been dropped by his agency and publicist. http://deadline.com/2017/11/kevin-spacey-loses-representation-caa-1202198778/
  11. Another detailed, highly disturbing allegation of Spacey molesting a 14-year-old boy in the '80s. From Vulture: http://www.vulture.com/2017/11/kevin-spacey-alleged-sexual-relationship.html
  12. It's funny. ABC, The Daily Beast, and Reuters all played into the deflection, touting stories like "Kevin Spacey comes out in emotional tweet." Only after Twitter backlash did they change their headlines. It just makes you realize how much celebrities and their PR minions could get away with before social media started keeping journalists honest.
  13. I wonder how Netflix will handle this. There will be intense pressure for them to cut ties. A very tricky situation for them.
  14. Bethany Joy Lenz (ex-Reva/Michelle, GL) is joining Grey's Anatomy. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/greys-anatomy-enlists-bethany-joy-lenz-season-14-arc-1052280
  15. Max Greenfield Wow at the gay Jared Kushner joke.
  16. Probably not. See ya!
  17. I read Vulture. I saw this, thought it sucked, and brought it here since I'd spoken about the show in the past. That's pretty much the extent of it.
  18. Lol. I'll be fine ignoring the show like most other viewers.
  19. That's the problem. It fails both as an homage AND a show for new audiences. It's anachronistic in so many ways but tries superficially to feel new and oh so 2017. No one was really asking for this, and the poor producers knew what they signed up for.
  20. I just don't think it was worth it. It looks cheap just like the rest of the show. Give a title screen that provides a hint of the old theme and run the credits over the following scene like all the other primetime shows.
  21. The new opening credits premiere tonight. Here's a clip. So. Bad. http://www.vulture.com/2017/10/dynasty-reboot-opening-credits.html
  22. Yeah, it's pretty upsetting. I've seen a few of Toback's movies (not a fan), but I wasn't aware of his predator reputation.
  23. Agree with most of the praise. Some of this is because of the low expectations after the dismal last few seasons of the initial run. But it is sort of settling into becoming sort of a latter-day Golden Girls, but gayer (if that's possible). I am finding the Grace/Karen interactions less appealing than the Will/Jack ones. They don't seem to be as able to mine comedy from them. The shower bit from the second episode and the sexual harassment of the male assistant fell flat for me. That's not a diss on Debra or Megan, who still find ways to shine. The third episode with the focus on Grace and Harry Connick Jr. (hate him) was zzzzzz. Andrew Rannells is sexy, as was shown on Girls. He deserves his own adult-oriented series where he gets to be naked as much as possible. Like a Queer As Folk-type vehicle. Eric McCormack looks great, and he's owning the gayness of the role much more now. For me, even more than Sean (who we all knew was brilliant), he's the revelation in the reboot.
  24. Terri Conn (ex-Katie, ATWT) relays a disgusting and terrifying story of sexual harassment from indie director James Toback in a larger exposé on him from the LA Times. Just sickening. http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/la-et-mn-james-toback-sexual-harassment-allegations-20171018-story,amp.html
  25. If they hired Zoe Lucker as Alexis, I'd watch. She might be a touch young (43) and of course she's no Joan, but I'd just love to see her play a rich, fabulous bitch again after Tonya from Footballers' Wives.
