That's okay. I totally believed that her name was Candy Love. Like I said, this is the same show that had a character named Bambi, lol.

DAYS: Declined and Rejected | promo (week of January 19, 2026)
The truth is, I don't feel anything toward anyone on this show anymore. IMO, DAYS has been running on less than fumes since the last boy band era, under folks who refuse to do anything about it.

Oh, God, I hope it isn't. After all, this is the same LOL that also had a character named "Bambi."

Thanks for all the Jen Lilley intel...I think, lol. When it comes to VM and MB, I'll just say this: he definitely needs her, but does she really need him? I'd be down with Drew and Willow essentially becoming the new Alan and Monica if I thought the acting and writing were stronger. Even with that better writing, however, Katelyn MacMullen is not Leslie Charleson, and Cameron Mathison is sure af not Stuart Damon. Believe it or not, I'm fine with forgetting Jagger's murder. Hell, I'm even for pretending he never returned. Bringing that s.o.b. back as a blue-eyed, blonde-haired fed with an inexplicable grudge against Sonny (who deserves all the hate and then some, but still...) was lame from the jump. Now, do I still think Willow needs to go to prison for shooting Drew? Yes, and no. (I mean, she SHOULD, but I'm just a silly fool who thinks letting individuals get away with their crimes is morally irresponsible storytelling, lol). Regardless, I don't wanna see that mess with her and Drew and Michael dragged on any further. If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times: Drew is not dead, and he hasn't seen the light either. So, what was the [!@#$%^&*] point of shooting him? So, we could see that Willow, the one-time cult member who was ripped from her comatose mother's womb and who (probably) faked her cancer, has a dark side? That's great. I still don't care about the bitch.- Love of Life Discussion Thread
I can't, I just can't, lol.- Dallas Discussion Thread
The only show that I remember that has talked about that subject was the original "Law & Order," in an episode about an American husband and father who killed the Egyptian doctor hired by his mother-in-law to perform the procedure on his half-Egyptian daughter. IIRC, he agreed to plead guilty to the charges in exchange for his parents being granted custody of his daughter, because he did not trust his weak-willed to stop HER mother (who said we raise our children to be no better than dogs) from having the daughter circumcised. It's a barbaric custom that persists in many countries; yet, I don't know whether that episode painted Egyptians in an all-too-objective light, lol. IMO, it's as if the writer of that article is saying Linda Gray isn't qualified to speak on behalf of the U.N. and international women's rights BECAUSE she was just an actress, or an actress on a soap opera. But, you know, the idea of hiring an actor from a series that was popular all over the globe to speak out on such causes isn't necessarily a bad one. I just wish they had asked an actress from a series that hadn't marginalized and objectified women at every opportunity.- GH: January 2026 Discussion Thread

It's ironic how the U.N. chose someone who became famous for playing J.R. Ewing's long-suffering wife to promote women's rights. That's like asking Tony Geary or Roger Howarth to speak on behalf of RAINN.- DAYS: Declined and Rejected | promo (week of January 19, 2026)

I do agree that JV's acting improved from GL to AMC. He and Lindsay Hartley (and Lindsay's arsenal of eye makeup) weren't terrible additions to that show. I mean, I don't think they'll ever be among my favorites, but at least they don't irritate me as much as they used to. (And "Amen," "Hallelujah" and "PREACH!!" to your remark about Zach's crusty ass, lol). - The Politics Thread
