  1. I, myself, might have been tempted to schedule "Dolly" against DALLAS or FC on Friday nights, if only because both shows were beginning to decline in the ratings.
  2. Anna: "My God, what happened to you?" What does it look like, Anna, lol!?
  3. So, does this mean Paulina will develop superpowers?
  4. Hell, they could air repeats of "December Bride" and even that would pull in better ratings than "The Talk."
  5. I agree. Unfortunately, there are too many people too willing to keep watching his TV series, movies and original plays. Until that changes, and audiences start demanding better from him, he's not likely to evolve his craft. I really hope we don't get another talk show anytime soon. I think we scraped the bottom of that barrel the day we decided to give Drew Barrymore her own show.
  6. "The Talk" should have been silenced years ago, lol.
  7. But seriously. Let's hope this means "The Gates" is at least one step closer to becoming a full-fledged series.
  8. I agree. Frankly, as long as Brook Lynn doesn't show up at the wedding in a blazer, I'll be satisfied, lol.
  9. I'll say this much for MB: he's come a long way from Nico Kelly - and I actually liked Nico, lol.
  10. I can't say that I blame him. After all, Leo is Salem's answer to Otho, lol.
  11. Here's a thought: what if Beverett is some sort of con artist who really can't remember his real identity? Of course, I still say there's a good chance he'll turn out to be Nick after all, lol.
  12. Much like the buttons on Drew's shirt.
  13. Honestly, I'm still surprised at how MB went along with the whole "Nixon Falls" arc. I wasn't watching GH at that point, but everything about that story sounded not at all like something that MB (or even yours truly, if I'm being for real) would have gone along with in earlier times. I don't know what kind of black magic that Frank Valentini serves up on the regular, but it's clear his is the kind you don't [!@#$%^&*] with.
  14. Let's see: when did Bill Clinton leave the White House again?
  15. IOW, you read into Drew and Nina's enmity subtext that even TPTB and the actors in question didn't (at least, not at first, lol). I'm inclined to think that PM/EK read the inadvertent subtext as well and "went for it." Same here! I've never known who Drew was beyond just being Jason's long-lost twin. I mean, who is he, really? What does he want? What's in his head? What's in his heart? Who would he [!@#$%^&*] if he had the chance*? What, if any, is his function on the GH canvas besides his biological ties to Jason and Alan? Perhaps, we should call him "Dryan" from now on? I'm kidding. But seriously. I think CM plays "charming rake" very well. Ryan was such a nice addition to the AMC canvas before Megan McTavish turned him and Gillian into this star-crossed couple like something out of a James Ingram ballad. It's certainly more fun to watch him like this than it is to watch him play Generic Love Interest No. 17 on all those godawful GAC/Hallmark movies. *I guess we know the answer to that question now, lol!
  16. I get what you're saying, @Darn, but I believe someone - maybe FV, maybe PM and/or EK, maybe just the dude who operates the food truck outside the Prospect Studios every afternoon - but someone had to have seen something between him and CW, even if he (and CW) didn't. Hell, you, me, @carolineg and @Vee saw it weeks ago, before the official writing regime change-over, when Ryan Drew still acted as if he wanted to hang Annie's Nina's head like a pair of fuzzy dice from his rearview mirror!
  17. IMO, Maurice's issue is that the character of Sonny no longer challenges him and in fact hasn't challenged him for a very long time.
  18. It's been my experience that my fellow African-Americans will watch just about any film or TV series that features us because even terrible representation is better than no representation at all.
  19. No way! I'm sure Locher is a nice person, but his interviewing style puts me off, quite frankly. Plus, I'm still not over the technical issues he encountered during his interview w/ Patrick Mulcahey, lol. KM?
  20. Well, there goes *my* idea to remake "Thelma & Louise" with those two, lol!
  21. Only if, per Scott's demands, he tapes all his scenes on days when Missy isn't in the studio, lol.
