Yes, she had surgery after season 6 was over. She returned after missing 11 episodes I believe. Then after season 7 her contract was up. Barbara wanted more to do and a pay raise. The talks ended with no new contract and Bel Geddes walked and Miss Ellie didn't appear in the early episodes of season 8. Producers decided to recast with Donna Reed.

Nah I just try to be nice to people. I come off shy actually when I meet someone new but once I know them I warm up unless they are nasty towards me or hang with people that I don't get along with.

Nope But when I ordered business supplies from companies I would with the guys.😂 They loved it. They treated me nicely too and I got a discount and a call anytime you need something.😂 It was me really just being nice which some people have forgotten what that is.
