That may be realistic, but it's not good soap. I don't know how they can play supporting to Vanessa if they're off-screen. If anything, it makes Vanessa look like an even worse mother.

Amanda Setton refuses to play BLQ, and they've allowed her to get away with it. The result is that the character is ruined. She's not what Brook Lynn should be. Why Frank permits actors to get away with this is insane.

All they've done on this show is play musical chairs with CEOs of businesses, and now they're changing names. -- Phyllis STOLE the company. She did nothing to earn anything. Now she gave away Chancellor for nothing -- without even checking on what Victor did. The lame writing makes Phyllis look even dumber. -- Nick says he's going to walk the streets of Vegas to ask around about Riza and Matt Clark? What the actual fcuk. -- Sienna looks a lot older than Sharon. Good job, Noah. -- Sienna is supposed to be smart and perceptive and strong, yet she or up with Matt making trips all the time to Vegas, apparently never seeing boundaries with her husband. -- Lauren as Phyllis' partner in running Newman? I can't take anything on this show seriously.

I stopped watching DAYS daily. It's just been so slow. I run through the episodes on the weekend, never stopping the show to take a phone call, go to the bathroom, do household chores, or anything else. It's just not working. And Leo is still awful. -- Brook Lynn takes "modesty garment" to a whole new level. Allowing AS to bury herself in all that sleepwear is insane -- and hysterical. Seeing shirtless (and looking hot af) Chase makes it even more ridiculous. They'd actually do better putting Chase in a tank or t-shirt. -- Jason's goodbye is taking FOREVER.

😂🤣😂 Yeah, that whole sequence was a fail. Off-screen stuff rarely works, but this was worse than usual since they followed up by the worst "Let's pretend we're at the beach" scene possible.

-- I have no idea why Izaiah needs to visit Joey to talk about Eva. I guess we're supposed to be grateful a white guy was his savior growing up. He had a whole damn family, but Joey saved him. Jesus. -- Izaiah said Eva knows him better than anyone ever has. Wow, that was fast. -- Vanessa again uses that emotional voice with a hitch when talking to Nicole about Deanna. That's LB's crutch in every emotional scene, and it's tired. But hey, she talked out her problems and went right to the Golden Corral Casino to visit Mobster Joey, so it's all good! -- Vanessa said Deanna doesn't want to come home. I hope that doesn't mean we won't see her for 3 months. -- The shouse inspector was a good idea, but they should have given her more lines and discussed more details. So what's the timeline going forward? -- Good to see Leslie take the L on the shouse and dealing with Vernon, at least for today. I also think Kat got the best of her. -- Kial gives Nicole a key to his place. Have some self-respect, dude -- not while she's still also screwing another guy. Just seems too much, too soon for me. -- Good scenes with Anita and Bill. With Anita calling for a DNR in the previews, I hope we're ready to turn the corner on this story. We did.

I'm not bothered by your posts at all. I rather enjoy them. We disagree on elements of the soap. I don't know why that's a problem. It's good to know others agree with me on different things... the actors, the characters, the sets, the stories, the pacing... But I enjoy hearing from others who take the opposite view. I see this as a discussion group, not as a fan club. I do think we can all make our own minds up about who to ignore, but that's just me. Have a good day. (I put a period after that sentence and not an exclamation point because I'm not offering snark or sarcasm. Life's too short to be angry over a soap).

I thought we decided months ago that the Bill and Hayley living room set is tacky because it's supposed to represent Hayley's lack of taste. That set is trash because Hayley is trashy -- not because the set designers are clueless. The poster who praised the set tonight as better than the GH sets because it's not beige and bland? Come on. I would hope anyone with eyes can find a dozen tacky things on that set. It's a nightmare 😂

Are you serious with this? I don't even know where to begin 😂 😆 -- And since we're discussing Kat, I'll repeat that I'm still on her team. She jumps the gun occasionally, but she's just about always right. Her entire damn family stupidly forgave Eva for what she did and has not been hard enough on nasty Leslie. Kat has had terrible parenting from Ted and Nicole. Kat was also right in her argument with Chelsea. Did Chelsea run anything by her when she planned to move to Copenhagen? No. But Kat was wrong in wanting to move out on Chelsea and Madison, the sickenly sweet lovebirds.

Today's show was boring.

-- I like Dr. Monica, although I'd prefer Shanice fight her own battles with nutjob Leslie. -- The free clinic operation is laughable. Leslie signs the checks? Huh? She sees Derek out for lunch and accuses him of not doing his job. Are we supposed to be OK with this nonsense because Leslie is so crazy? -- Derek basically runs the clinic. Say what? -- Ted shut Leslie down, but I wish the scene with Leslie putting her ass in his face was played differently. Ted acted as if he was tempted, but he should have been repulsed. -- Ashley has now made a couple comments about the computers at Garland Memorial being slow. Huh? -- Lia's criticism of Ashley and her warnings would make more sense in a busy hospital, but that main desk is NEVER busy, so I don't get what they're doing. I realize we're to see Lia as bad, but make it make sense.

It's lazy writing. The original story was ok, and a good intro to Mark Grossman as Adam. The problem is that Josh Griffith revisits these stories and does nothing with them. There's promise in the idea of a revisit, but then the execution is awful. I struggle to think of a single throwback to history that paid off under JG.

Yep. I would respect the one who walked away from this mess.

I know there are no rules for dream sequences on soaps, but now that they've done this across scenes, they shot their shot. I don't think they can go to that well again.
