-- Good work done by everyone in the cancer storyline, especially Tamara Tunie and Clifton Davis. The story was heavy, but I appreciate getting that DNR out of the way in a couple episodes instead of taking weeks. -- It's also good that the show isn't going to lean into people stopping their chemo treatments. It worked as a passing thought, but that wouldn't be a good message to send. -- I do think the Dani and Nicole reaction shots after Anita tore up the DNR were over the top. -- I don't understand why Randy has to keep Lynette occupied and distracted. Hayley and Randy act like it's important that Lynette not know they're scamming. Doesn't Lynette already know that? -- Please move this Hayley and Bill story along. We've gone back and forth on another Hamilton baby a half dozen times.

-- ivy watching Electra and RJ's entire date was creepy but also hilarious. -- I know some people (especially on Reddit) don't like Brayan Niccoletti as RJ, but I'll take him. He can get it any time. -- Dylan AGAIN announced to Will that she loves him. I'm honestly lost as to why so many people have fallen for this girl's ways. She's either a con or she's nuts.

-- LOL at Dylan talking about her day at work. Girl, you didn't do anything. -- Will is the dumbest himbo who ever himboed. The guy is completely clueless about being a boyfriend, about relationships, about breaking up, about being hit on. Hysterically dumb. -- Daphne and Carter have been married for 2 days, so of course they want to have a baby. -- Set ridiculousness: B&B moves to a new spacious studio, and all of a sudden people are eating dinner in the living room. Today we got Electra and RJ after the Katie/Bill and Brooke/Ridge dinner party last week.

Max was stabbed. Did anyone from the police show up to question him? I guess they're all busy looking for Hayley's mugger, which the show seems to have forgotten about. LOL at Smitty saying he'd protect Max. How exactly does that work?

-- So Leslie can fund an entire free clinic, but Anita doesn't have a private nurse? -- At least the hospital is empty as usual, allowing Anita to get a private room immediately and get A-1 treatment. -- The blood plasma ring is working overtime. Must've been 2 whole liters of blood that Grayson handed over to Rashad.

Because of the streamers, we now have more television then ever. You cannot tell me that there wasn't a well of talent available to write for daytime. All of us who love soap opera should be angry that those in power -- the networks, the studios, the executives, whoever -- keep recycling the same writers with the same ideas and soap tropes. It's maddening. The reluctance to change and experiment, the fear of losing their audience, the desperation of it all... honestly, it's hard to accept, especially with budgets getting sliced all the time. I've been around for a long time, and I keep watching because I love the genre and because I'm addicted. I cannot see young people becoming addicted to the stuff they give us.

-- I am beyond sick of Mariah.i just don't care about her any longer, and it's laughable that one conversation with Daniel could shake any sense into her. Send her to prison. -- Mariah left the park cafe and went right to Crimson Lights? Uh...ok. -- Daniel's willingness to just roll over so Tessa can go back to Mariah is ridiculous. Just another soap cliche. -- Is the old Chelsea back? Or is this just another fakeout? Hey, Chelsea, go home and spend 5 minutes with your kid. All she and Billy talk about is who owns what company. -- Nick is still chewing his smarties. -- Riza's face at the end of the show today looked like plastic.

-- Martin is definitely a character this show doesn't need. -- Would anyone in their right mind think Laura is a good mayor? 🤣 -- Brook Lynn and that baby. Jesus. -- Van Hansis a very good today in his scenes with Laura Wright. He sold the love between him and Marco really well. -- I think the number of people upset about Marco's shooting indicate the impact of Marco on the canvas. Adrian Anchondo has done a really nice job making a minute character real.

-- MEK does look very thin. And yeah, my guess is he had the needle. Being thinner is healthier, but it shows in the face. -- I can think of at least a dozen other people I'd rather die before Marco.

B&B: Launches BBTV app with entire library
I'm torn on the pricing. I get that it's cheaper than the other streamers, but you're also getting ONLY ONE SERIES. I understand the number of episodes is a big deal, but still -- it's just one show. I love television, and I watch a lot of it, but I am not throwing $5.99/month at just one more show.

-- The Anita/Vernon scenes were again really well done. Terrific acting. -- I do hope we get a recovery before too many more months. I know it's played realistically, but we're facing a storyline where too many characters worry and cry about Anita all the time. -- What kind of hair did they give June for today's show? Just no. -- The Bill and Dani scenes offer proof that we need movement on the Hayley storyline. These "moments" between Dani and Bill are boring unless they lead to something. -- The Vanessa/Joey love story continues to be a fail to me. The writers continually give her scenes to prop up her role as mother and to explain her cheating, but it's not working. I'm sick of her "I lost myself" crap when it's followed by "I did become a wealthy real estate mogul who dresses in designer clothes all the time." And her Prince Charming to save her is JOEY? The Golden Corral Casino Mobster??? -- Those fireplace flames shots at Joey's were hilarious. -- Speaking of hilarious sets, there's that brick wall where Rashad/Jacob meets Smitty and the evil crew. What are Jacob and Smitty going to say if the bad guys see them talking in the corner of a brick buidling? -- And would these plasma stealing thugs really resort to murdering someone who wanted out? And how do Jacob and Smitty find out who the main players are when all they do is stand on the corner of a brick building? This storyline is just badly, badly written.

DAYS: March 2026 Discussion Thread
-- Very good Shawn Douglas and JJ scenes. Why aren't these characters on my screen more often? Good actors who are both very good-looking. Jada and Rafe bungle everything they touch, so we can use a couple cops who aren't idiots. -- The JJ freezes stuff was a good idea, but the way it was shot was weird and didn't work for me. These guys just aimed guns at each other for 40 seconds? -- NuRachel is fine. The character is still an insufferable brat, and I wish everyone in her orbit would start treating her like she's a devil with severe character flaws. Have we really seen any growth in this child? I can make the case that she's worse than Sophia.

-- Lisa LoCicero should sue for defamation of character. -- That whole sequence was SO bad -- just jaw-droppingly bad. Did someone decide that Olivia needed to remind everyone that she exists? Because none of that made sense. -- Jason as the hit man? FAIL. -- And then we see Jason in the previews -- which means he's STILL not gone. GO AWAY ALREADY.

BTG: March 2026 Discussion Thread
-- I agree with those saying there's an avoidance of drama and no stakes to too many storylines these days. The show isn't doing what it did in the first 6 months. -- I'm more than happy with the cast (with a couple exceptions we all agree on). Sadly, that's made weak writing stand out even more. -- Storylines need movement. Want to call it melodrama? Fine, then give me some melodrama. Story after story has been neutered either by moving in another direction or by slowing it down. For example, the lack of movement in the Bill/Hayley story is just insane. -- What they've done to Leslie is unforgivable. Calling her a cartoon is exactly right. They insert her into far too many scenes, giving her too much supposed power and money. Instead of a great one-liner from her and a good insult, we get her calling characters names like "Itty bitty kitty litty." It's not biting and it's not funny. -- They should stop with Eva and Kat at each others' throats unless they give them a better reason. The Eva/Izaiah relationship is a dud to me. They've been together only a month or two and the guy says she knows him better than anyone ever has. Huh? We've been shown none of this, and their talks have all been surface-level and cliche. -- Dani couldn't continue to be Week One crazy, but they've sanded her down way too much. -- I was so nuts for and about Nicole in the first months of the show that I can't explain. Class, beauty, smarts. This New Nicole not only disappoints me, it annoys me. -- You want the blood plasma story to work? Then stop writing Jacob and Smitty as Mutt and Jeff. -- I'll spare you another rant about the power Joey Armstrong has in town. -- Months-long buildups that fizzle are not good. We had that with Winterfest, and I can't defend what we got. Are we heading for the same thing with this Cotillion? -- I don't like this go-to of having characters disappear for LONG stretches and then bringing them back so we can say "Oooooh...I knew we'd get back to Laura one day." Then Laura disappears again. But yeah, she'll be back in a few months. Is that the game plan with Allison? With Deanna? -- The Anita story is really well done, but a soap needs more going for it than a cancer storyline.

You can deny all you like. Anyone reading your posts knows what you intended. And now I need to chill? You know as well as anyone that never in the history of telling someone to chill has resulted in chill. You could have ignored my jeans comment in the first place. Plenty of people ignore my comments all the time. Instead you had to comment, and then you had to back up someone else who called me out. The least you could do is admit your intentions. In the end, this is all really small stuff and not even worth this post I'm writing. I will say that I have enjoyed your posts, especially in the past few months when we had some semblance of respect for each others opinions. We do have a history of banging heads, and I was glad to move away from that. That probably explains, at least in part, why I was unhappy with your posts on the photo.

I'll be honest -- when I saw that, I wondered if Alexa Havins wanted it that way -- pulling offer own Amanda Setton. I've heard AH has strong Christian beliefs. I don't know if that's true or how that transfers to a soap, but I do wonder if she's getting the writing that Setton gets.
