  1. 💯 LA soaps are just... different, from their production models to the talent they hire. Some were great finds, but, overall.. they just lacked that something special the NYC soaps had overall. And I think, that's why, at the end of the day, those that left NYC soaps for a career in Hollywood did end up returning to NYC. It was just a different environment.
  2. New York soaps were in a lane of their own creation. Never again will we get the dames like her and Beverlee McKinsley, or some of the more modern day soap stars we have today.
  3. Gina needs to stay in town, take over Society from Abby and remodel the restaurant into something more Genoa City appropriate.
  4. If Eden ever did return, I always imagined Victoria Konefal would suit the role, and could do something more than any of the others.
  5. Yuri is yummy and probably the one I'd go for.
  6. He also sang lead on:
  7. Saw this this morning... and I am utterly HEARTBROKEN!!
  8. I just really like the pacing and that, despite it not being a "omfg this is a soap opera" it still has those dramatic moments that make it worth while.
  9. This is an old set; it first debuted when Gina Tognoni assumed the role of Phyllis and she stayed there en route to crash Nick & Sharon's wedding.
  10. Maybe they'll pull an Eden Riegel and upon her return from maternity leave just dismiss her. Oh, please do not remind me of that monstrosity.
  11. They're struggling to hide Sofia Mattsson's pregnancy at the Ball, aren't they? No over-sized coat to cloak her stomach, so instead, she's either seated or covering her stomach with her wrap and clutch! I would've co-signed this happening. At this point, make the Ball a Gala-type event. This year's event just misses the mark for me, unfortunately, and it's twice-as-cringe as usual.
  12. This makes me so happy.
  13. I'm pretty sure they're chem-testing Chance & Sharon. I'd honestly love a re-visit of Chance & Chloe. Free Chloe from Kevin and let him stay in Salem.
  14. Mhmm, and it's a damn shame they're barely mentioning HIV/AIDS at this point. Now they're just showing us off-pitch performances.
