  1. Alison Lanier is such a breath of fresh air as Summer. She really is.
  2. I'm about half-way through the 2012 season, and whew... I am in-love with this soap. Cannot wait to continue through and into 2013.
  3. I remember watching the first episode, but beyond that I don't recall if anything more came of it.
  4. No new opening for the 60th anniversary is a mistake.
  5. I detect no lies. What're your opinions on Garin Wolf's stints as head writer?
  6. Thad Luckinbill filed for divorce in 2017, but, in a 2022 interview with Soap Opera Digest, Amelia Heinle revealed they reconciled sometime after and are still together.
  7. It makes sense for the opening to debut today for the soap's 60th. Can only hope.
  8. I really wish they'd bring back the O.G. Brownstone set. Hell, even bring back the O.G. colours of the current set.
  9. Sharon Case, Eileen Davidson, Amelia Heinle, Elizabeth Hendrickson, Melissa Ordway & Melody Thomas Scott so far seem to have re-shot their opening post-#YR50 cast photo and around the time of the gala filming. And I'm feeling as if it is possible both Lauralee Bell, Courtney Hope & Kate Linder's opening shots might have been a re-shoot, as well. I fully think if they had used the typeface from the 2003 opening it would improve it!
  10. Part of me can't help but wish Terry Lester had remained in the role of Mason to see a reunion between him and Eileen Davidson. It's clear TPTB wanted some of the Abbott magic in the Capwell family, and it did not strike with Davidson's Kelly. Garland just made the role her own and, when the Dobsons returned, they wanted an *older* Kelly, and once again proved they didn't always have the best ideas and concern for the soap they created. They did the same in the O.G. days of Santa Barbara. I'd also add the role of Santana Andrade to this list. Everyone post-Ava Lazar just made the role further from what it was originally conceptualized as.
  11. Wow. What a beautiful end to the episode. At this point, they'd likely have to recast. I loved Matt Trudeau, too, but he's doing real estate outside of Los Angeles in Chicago. I just don't think there was ever any focus for Lucas, especially after being predominately in a marriage to Brad.
  12. Ryan Bittle did well in the role, too, however... following Jacob Young, I do feel he fell a bit flat. Young left a major impression on the role.
  13. Honestly... the only Colby I liked was Natalie Hall. The others were meh. Eileen Davidson, out of all four actresses, had the MOST talent... but she was not tailor-made for the role of Kelly. They tried making her Ashley 2.0, and it failed. Carrington Garland did an amazing job re-inviting the role, and it's a shame they kicked her for someone older, because of Marcy Walker's absence.
  14. That would be very exciting, especially against Cady McClain's Jennifer!
  15. I'd also add Alice Matthews Frame. Both Jacqueline Courtney & Susan Harney did wonderful in the role, but... each subsequent one just did not click.
  16. Dylan Bruce was good in the role, but the story he came in with wasn't right.
  17. Billy Abbott Jill Abbott Kyle Abbott Diane Jenkins Vicky Hudson Margo Hughes Tom Hughes Dorian Lord Victoria Lord Sharon Newman Paul Ryan Brad Snyder Alexandra Spaulding Carly Spencer Alison Stewart Phyllis Summers A.J. Quartermaine Edward Quartermaine
  18. Vivian Alamain Nikolas Cassadine Scott Chandler Jack Deveraux Rick Forrester Thomas Forrester Thorne Forrester Casey Hughes Beth Logan Tina Lord Jake Martin Adam Newman Lily Snyder Justus Ward This is why William J. Bell believed no role should be recast three or more times. The problem with David Tom's return is he visually still looked young, while Billy Miller did not look young. Both Burgess Jenkins & Jason Thompson work in the role... but the stories they've been given do not do their talents justice.
  19. I was for Smith coming back until some of his recent projects. My vote is for Kay Alden & Trent Jones' return.
