  1. No one should be forced to face that pit of death.
  2. I am going to say what should be said: Tabyana Ali (Trina) & Jens Austin Astrup (Kai) have zero chemistry. It's a dud pairing. To think Astrup was cast with the intention of being purposefully paired with Ali is so headscratching because the chemistry is not there. Realistically, Jequan Jackson (Quinn) is who they should be pairing her with, as there is actual chemistry between the two of them, and Astrup could be cut altogether and wouldn't be missed or even noticeably gone.
  3. 👍🏻👍🏻 Overall totals will show the proper numbers, so no worries there.
  4. It's giving Bond villain and I am here for it.
  5. Thank you; again, switching to a spreadsheet is helping. Should've started from scratch. March should be a more cohesive, well-done list. And he's even Richardson in my spreadsheet. Also did not help press releases also had Andre as Richardson instead of Hamilton. 🤣 I blame it on the "on" endings. As above, I swapped from one method to another. 🤣 In my spreadsheet, everything is correct, but it got missed in transferring to the listing. It should be better for this month, haha. We will likely know by the end of the week where it ranked in demos.
  6. I think that was suspected; in October 2020, she announced her exit from the role. All the report claimed was she was "out at the soap she has called home since 2013," which does read like she was let go. But I'm more inclined to believe Karla Mosley's version of events. I think it's admirable she was concerned about being a cisgender woman portraying a trans role. Even in her chat with Michael Fairman on Friday, she hinted the role should/should have been recast with a transgender actor.
  7. Having only ever watched Greenleaf and loving that series, I can say that it and Beyond the Gates are two very different vibes. Most I can say is that both have families that are very known to their [different] communities.
  8. She had intent, and no one was stopping her. Love it so much.
  9. Exactly; it made me happy to see Patrick Mulcahey try and shake things up for Hofer's character, and then Elizabeth Korte/Chris Van Etten undid some of it, and then ultimately sacrifice the character.
  10. He was wasted at GH. Am hoping he finds other opportunities elsewhere where he is able to flourish.
  11. Thanks for sharing.
  12. I agree; this is my first-ever soap I'm experiencing from the beginning in real-time, but I've seen others (thanks to those who have archived such historic media), and I can say: this is the strongest first week we've experienced in daytime. They came out of the gates (excuse the pun) with their balls rolling, and didn't hold back.
  13. Is it Monday yet?! I cannot remember the last time I waited on baited breath for a Monday episode of American daytime!
  14. If Kristina calls Irene "her daughter" one more time, I'll push her through a window. And it won't be up for speculation who did it/if it were an accident. Lordy. At this point, just appoint her the head of the Corinthos organization and call it a damn day.
  15. 105 pages for five episodes. That's power right there. That's a soap that engages its audience.
  16. If not number one in ratings, I'd imagine at the very least number one in performing demos, which would be even more promising in the long term.
  17. Oh, thank you. I went back/forth with using the Spoiler/not using the Spoiler and just felt the desire to go ahead and do it. 👍🏻 You're welcome, and I know! It still feels surreal. You're very welcome.
  18. (I did notice one mistake I did make but cannot edit it in; first time doing a master post like this, and did change up how I was doing it off-site, so I'm hoping March will be better!)
  19. You can tell how much has been locked inside of her for years after working/writing for other producers whose visions may not have aligned with her. And to think, this week was all Val Jean; next week, Guza Jnr's material comes into play, and I'm excited to see it.
