  1. Exactly! Plus, being produced in Georgia as a brand new soap gives them the license to create their own unique-looking soap, which I think is the best avenue for them. They don't have the same problems the other four soaps have. I mean, when AMC went from New York to Los Angeles, yes, [some] things changed, but overall it looked like the same show in terms of filming/production, which I am sure they needed to maintain. With Beyond the Gates, we don't have that. We've already seen some new filming angles and techniques in how they're establishing their own visual look. And I enjoy it a lot; I mostly watch on CBS.com during live airing, and last night, I took a look via Paramount+, and it looks twice as good on my 4KTV in comparison to CBS.com's airing or even the YouTube clips being posted.
  2. SARAH GOT ME!!! If you know the reference, then this cuts DEEP!
  3. The production is definitely different from the four other soaps, all produced in Los Angeles, where they've always been based since their premieres. We have to keep in mind: this is a new soap, in a new production location. And they don't have the predetermined production model the others have. They can and are doing things their own ways, and that's exciting.
  4. I agree; I took it as she's had on this front of being "strong" and "angry," and in her true moments of silence she was able to crack and release that.
  5. Only three episodes in and we're on page 70. WHEW.
  6. Now this is what I am talking about!! For specials barely promoted for a full week, they did great. This gives amazing promise for the show itself!!!
  7. Vanessa is unhappy in her marriage, per the breakdown of the role, and in the casting announcement. So...
  8. The one in the car is Doug McBride, the husband of Vanessa. And the other is Randy Parker. Both are recurring players.
  9. Credits for Wednesday, February 26, 2025: Created by: Frank & Doris Hursley Executive producer: Frank Valentini Head writers: Chris Van Etten, Elizabeth Korte Writers: Suzanne Flynn, Scott Sickles, Cathy Lepard Director: Denise Van Cleave
  10. Haha, thank you! It's so much fun and so juicy!! I don't intend to. I am hooked!
  11. Not her but her daughter, which would be even juicier.
  12. Martin to be protected, but with Dani paying the cost? Oh, this is juicy as FRICK! Chelsea & Naomi have a cute sisterly bond. Dani's fire for Bill is strong, and I am here for these fueding former/future reconciled lovers. It's going to be beautiful! Supporting characters being given actual storylines?! This feels right. Dana, I see those wheels turning. Nicole & Ted haven't flown since? Oh, why do I feel like someone is getting put on a plane? "How could you love me so shabily?" Oh, Ms. Val Jean is pulling out those words. I love it. So rich in content. Oh damn... "I looked away because some men are incapable of being faithful to one woman." Wow. This is brilliant writing. Brilliant. Karla fückin' Mosley coming for that Outstanding Lead Actress in a Daytime Drama nomination. She's putting the work IN! Vanessa's legs got spread, and she held that table like her life depended on it. Whew... this is scandalous. WHEW. The united front of Anita & Vernon is refreshing; they get each other. Like yesterday, I get zero romantic interest between Martin & Smitty. I don't see them lasting. "summoned" Love it. We love being summoned. Again, the sisterly bond between Chelsea & Naomi is beautiful. Vanessa is a HOOT! I adore her. She's got that IT factor! "I'll ignore the fact you just cursed me in my own home!" Oh mama, ain't playin'! And HEIFAH?! Oh!!! We are not playing!! Oh, we're targeting Laura?! What is going on?!?! This is juicy!! Dana is giving fully unhinged soap villainess, and I am here for it!!
  13. Am aware but without knowing for sure, I don't want to speculate on anything, as it won't change the outcome.
  14. Oh I feel the exact opposite, re: Ashley Morgan.
  15. We've seen people die of natural causes at all ages. It's one of life's most unnerving mysteries.
  16. That's my thought: the mentioning of Ted's brother really felt... ominous. Really ominous.
  17. For her FOURTH DUI, she got off lucky... and I suspect Andy will suspect Potomoc for a year so Karen's "return" can be filmed like Teresa... celebrating a careless person.
  18. Anybody else notice CBS.com's uploads are glitched?! At about the 36-minute mark, it ends the episode and either moves to the next, or it goes to another show? It seems like watching isn't registering the ads that play during the episodes, and it ends as if ads don't play. @Errol Is this something that could be alerted to the people at CBS?
  19. It's a mess; I don't know what she was doing/planning to do, but what she needs to do is make a permanent b-line to Australia to be with Daddy. And never ever return! James will save the world. I know he will. He is perfect.
