  1. Same; like, she's 16.... the "cuteness" (which never existed) is gone.
  2. posted in the wrong thread. whew.
  3. I agree; it's very clear what this soap is meant to be about, so it shouldn't be surprising we're seeing just that.
  4. Lily? A heroine? 🤣 Either way, the answer is not C*ne. We don't need those annoying "stans" to come out of the woodwork again. At all. That pairing lasted beyond its expiration, and I'm glad it's done and over with.
  5. No. Again, we should never see, hear, speak of that character again. Period. And Billy Flynn shouldn't be cursed with it, either.
  6. Kelly Monaco (ex-Sam, GH; et al) is launching a new podcast Bad Bunnies with Shanna Moakler.
  7. Ding, ding, ding! This is smartly written, and it's clear CBS, CBS Studios, NAACP, Procter & Gamble Studios, Sheila Ducksworth, and company believe in Michele Val Jean and her team to make the creative decisions necessary for this soap to proceed, and it's refreshing, because I don't feel like from the other four American daytime soaps. Beyond the Gates reminds me of the days of watching soaps as a child with my mother during the summer months.
  8. He is a new role; we should never seen/hear/talk about Cane ever again. E V E R!
  9. date: Thursday, March 13 | Christopher Dunn & Judy Tate | Phideaux Xavier You can tell: Anita & Vernon have some spice in their marriage, and they look stunning! A more level-headed Dani? This is nice to see! Eva kissin' up to her brother, I see? But don't be into politics. Martin is scum. Dana ("Sherry") is up to no good; surely, Nicole will notice her, no? Hmm. Eva is definitely falling more and more for the Richardsons. Dana will not be happy. Katherine as a "non-current wardrobe"? Oh that's rich. But yes, Eva is falling for her [supposed] father's family right now. A second kiss? That felt even less authentic to me. Oh, Dani been caught-out by Ms. Naomi! The fantasy scenes! Love that we are getting these. The photo montage is too cute for words; love 'em or hate 'em, the Duprees are a united front. Martin, you are an absolute slimeball! If I were Bradley, I would be divorcing your ass for all you are worth. Mmmm, Ted, you might want to watch your back and everything you and yours sip on tonight, because "Sherry" might spike it. Trisha Mann-Grant (Dana) is delicious in this role. She's living for the material she's being given to work with and is rocking it out of the gate. "Sherry" is playing with fire, and I cannot wait to see how bright the flames do burn. Eva is beginning to realise momma might just be a bit too unhinged. These stories are what builds character without having to see those scenes; this is what American daytime has been missing for such a long, long time. Oh, an actual screen projection?! That's amazing! Kudos to the team behind the scenes for getting this done and done right. Oh, fantasising that she's Mrs. Ted Richardson? And then ruined, this time by Avery? Oh, this is juicy. Ooh, Ms. Eva!! You dirty girl. I love it. Realising Mommie Dearest is Mommie Dearest! So juicy. Oh so juicy.
  10. Today's script work by Christopher Dunn & Judy Tate, with direction by Phideaux Xavier.
  11. Credits for Thursday, March 13, 2025: Created by: Frank & Doris Hursley Executive producer: Frank Valentini Head writers: Elizabeth Korte, Chris Van Etten Writers: Will Gavett, Kate Hall, Cathy Lepard Director: Robert Markham
  12. Pretty sure Van Hansis is recurring because he resides on the east coast; if I recall, he referred to himself as "heavy recurring" during his Locher Room interview, but I could be wrong (and don't need to be pointed to the interview, either).
  13. Hoping Prime Video puts it back up (and remastered). Kind of itching to re-watch it.
  14. He is an asset to any soap opera he's on. He really is a solid actor. I don't blame him for jumping ship, either. I'm surprised he didn't jump before now or that he we went back in once he was out.
  15. I think Flynn is going where he likely feels he has a viable chance, especially given his history with Josh Griffith. Whether we liked Griffith's tenure at DAYS (2015–2016), he, along with Dena Higley & Beth Milstein, gave Flynn some meaty material for him to sink his teeth into.
  16. date: Wednesday, March 12 | Gregori J Martin & Cheryl L. Davis | Steven Williford The boiling chemistry between Andre & Ashley is palpable. I see it. I feel it. I like it. Vanessa wants nothing to do with Douglas and everything to do with Diego. And I cannot blame her one bit. Martin is verbally and mentally abusive. I am calling it now. Bradley deserves better. Joey isn't playing and I love it. He is no-nonsense, and I appreciate that. He doens't want the details. He wants the final result. Derek injured? In the line of [actual] fire? Okay, then. Buh-bye! No major less. Well, here are Tyrell & Samantha. Welcome to the dysfunction, folks. "I might have what she's having after I finish working out." Now what if what she's having is your workout, Ms. Vanessa? Loving it. Tyrell is fully supportive of his dad's decision. We love that. And Samantha doesn't give a damn at all. Oh, the teens get IT! Martin gotta ease TF up, pronto! Douglas see's dollar signs in Vanessa's selling of those homes. Joey is not one to mess with. The text effect is the best in daytime; it's modern yet familiar and reminds me of the way British soap operas show their text messages on screen. Well, Derek got memory loss? Andre, now's going to be your time to slide right in and steal your girl back from the memory-loss firefighter! Damn, he remembered. That sucks. Well, there's the first kiss. Mark it in the books, because this cute family moment won't last. I am calling it now. Ooh, Eva is falling for the charms of the Richardsons, and Ms. Dana does not like it. Damn, Vanessa delivered that slap like her life depended on it. I love it. Joey is going to rack up Douglas' debt, and I like the setup. Douglas, for being a surgeon, is too dumb like rocks to realise it. Momma Dana is not playing. She'll get her answer. Martin is losing it... whew.
