It does not bother me; as a fellow 'pasty' person, it's nice to see not everyone is overly 'tanned' or 'sprayed'.

That person would have to care first. 🤷🏻‍♂️ You can tell how pissed she was about the lack of character 'Diana' was, and I, for one, do not blame her. Realistically, she could have been somewhat of a viable one, but it was clear TPTB did not give two-you-know-whats about her.

Christopher Dunn had some decent breakdowns, and I enjoyed Lynn Martin as a scriptwriter, so I'm sad to see them both go. However, the best news?!?! JAZMEN DARNELL BROWN IS STICKING AROUND!! The best possible outcome we could have asked for!!! He has the best scripts, so I'm glad he won't be exiting ahead of the second season. Now, if only Jamey could go with the "writer", and we would be all-set.

If this were kept from me, I’d be furious, too. Deadbeat continues to try and deflect; he should understand that he hasn’t a leg to stand on where Bradley’s trust is concerned. I love the friendship Vanessa has with Nicole and her continued support of her… but uh-oh, here’s the reveal of Deadbeat’s press conference. So, murder is not beneath Bill? And the mention of Joey Armstrong. For a so-called ‘gangster’, he is in the mouths of many, and it does seem to be common knowledge of his dealings. Interesting. Deadbeat continues to not be able to see his two-years worth of lies and deceit are not easily erased in this situation… and wants to deflect the anger spewing from Bradley, but he needs to take every single ounce of it. And now here come the teens. Whew. Anita’s vitriol for Sharon and Tracy is very apparent, but her concern and love for her family stand strong and overpower that. Deadbeat, you’re leaving some pieces of information out… there was not one guy; there were two… don’t cover it up now. Good on Vanessa for recommending Nicole not wait for an invitation to find out what’s going on… even though she does not know the entire, whole truth. But good on her for standing by her friend. Good on Bradley for standing his ground where Deadbeat is concerned. BUH-BYE!! Well, Nicole shows up, and Deadbeat’s gone. So, Kenny is dead dead? See Deadbeat, now your husband is fully involved in this… should’ve been honest two years ago; now? It’s too damn late. I appreciate the continued friendship between Bradley and Jacob. It’s nice seeing in-laws supporting each other in this way. I appreciate that Samantha and Tyrell have opposing views on what’s happening with their parents. It’s refreshing. Sanitised? Is that what we’re calling it? I am glad Vernon has taken some ownership, though. Here comes Momma Nicole… and she’s going to get slapped hard with the truth (hopefully). Notes: They need to be careful with their exterior shots; the interior of the Dupree home shows a dark wood interior, which we do not have with the set. The continued use of switching scenes, from one conversation to another, to tell the same story is a brilliant use of script and time. I appreciate that the theme of ‘murder’ is not off-topic or skimmed over like it is on other soaps. We’re calling it what it is: MURDER! I applaud Michele Val Jean, Sheila Ducksworth and their teams for their honest conversation concerning race in Martin’s storyline. It’s rooted in realism, which is what it should be. It’s topical, which is what American soaps are missing: topical storylines.

Disappointing that the previous company was not doing their job; glad you found another that appears to be [more] reliable and that you were able to keep today's posts, as well. You did what was right for the community, and I am eternally grateful for it.

Hate to say it, but if the soap is performing in demos/ratings, I don't see TPTB stepping in to replace Josh Griffith in any of his positions.

Time to put your family back on track, momma! If looks could kill, Bradley's anger and hurt would absolutely destroy Deadbeat (which deserves to be destroyed). Ms Vanessa is using her wiles to get her way (as she should). But Joey, sir, you're in public... remember this. So, is Gordon the contact that Bradley got Kenny's information from? Or...? Well, Deadbeat is onto the question I had: is Kenny really, truly dead, or is it a staged photo to stop him from doing something as reckless as he's been this entire time? The spiral is coming... Joey telling Vanessa, maybe Deadbeat [finally] telling his husband (and children?). Let's see this happen! Good on Bradley for standing his ground where Deadbeat is concerned and for not allowing him to dismiss the children. They deserve to know as much as he does. Well, murder doesn't make Vanessa hot and bothered... just bothered. When Vernon's voice deepens, it means business... and it carries. Automated door openers... convenient for the lazy or hands-filled... but slower than dirt! So... that's it...? That's part of the beginning of the reveal? Interesting... so the attack was actually on Vernon predominantly, and Deadbeat defended him? Oh, okay... Oh, Vanessa is eating this up! But here comes Joey threatening, in less than a few words, to end Vanessa's life. Dani, mama, now is not the time to sulk back into the Country Club and tease Bill. So Ted got involved to fix Kenny's face... interesting. Poor Bradley... my heart is breaking for him. He's been lied to and put in immediate danger... he and his children. CALL HIM OUT! CALL DEADBEAT OUT ON HOW TRASH HE'S BEEN! Oooh... did Vanessa just put Joey on notice? I think she did. The icon that she is. Not going to lie, I kind of love this banter between Dani and Bill. It shows there is something still there. The look of horror on Anita's face says it all... this has been an unspoken burden and dark cloud in the Dupree family, and one that's about to explode. Oh, Bradley is not doubling down on Deadbeat's mistakes and secrets. Good on him. That's what I like seeing. Notes: Did we go from daytime/early dusk to flat-out nighttime? Whew.... chile. Glad the story is being told via flashbacks and not by just stating what happened. More gratifying this way. Lauren Buglioli (Vanessa) perfectly embodies her character. She dominates. Brandon Claybon (Martin) is not selling this as much as someone should... he does not seem shaken enough and feels like he's forcing himself to feel something. Mike Manning (Bradley), on the other hand, is OWNING these scenes. Timon Kyle Durrett (Bill) and Karla Mosley (Dani) have some fiery chemistry. No way they won't be put [back] together by the end of 2025, or the top of 2026.

And yay for Vanessa finding properties! Oh Lord, Deadbeat is throwing a press conference? This is the LAST thing she should be doing. Tell your family what's been going on first, moron. BRADLEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! OMG! BE CAREFUL! At least Vernon had the sense to get to Deadbeat to try and stop the damage from being done... and he should listen to his grandfather because he's being way too irrational right now. I love the sibling bond between Samantha and Tyrell; you can tell they're really close and that Bradley did a fine job raising those two. Deadbeat, look at the hurt and tears in your grandfather's eyes... and you're going to go public with this? And not even tell your husband or children? Shame on you. SHAME! So, Bill and Joey seem closely associated, which makes me continue to question Joey... is he a two-timing gangster? A former cop? Still a cop doubling as a gangster? Like... I'm intrigued. Very intrigued. Oh, Bradley is down bad... he's lost his damn mind due to this. I love the dynamic between Jacob and Naomi and their ease of being able to talk with each other and understand each other. It's refreshing. YES! BRADLEY! KICK DEADBEAT'S ASS OUT OF YOUR HOME! YES!!!!!! THROW HIS CRAP OUTSIDE!!! YES!!! Samantha, no, don't allow Deadbeat back into the house. I loved that interaction between Vanessa and Vernon; I love her admitting she does not follow politics but that she'd sell an underground lair to Joey if she needed to, haha. We love a businesswoman. And her iciness to Bill? Yes! Cute back story Bill: very cute back story, and voila, here's Marcel, gun to Kenny's side... could he be doing what Randy refused to do? Not Joey using Vanessa for his image! Haha. That's hilarious. Look at Jacob hyping up Naomi... and this June mystery is getting deeper and deeper. Good job, Bradley, for standing up for yourself and your children. THAT is what a parent does. Well, bye-bye, Kenny... right? Or is it a staged image to buy them some more time? Because I didn't see a speck of blood in that dead grass area! Notes: I love the new wig on Arielle Prepetit (Naomi); however, it does feel a bit... flat, no? Perhaps some baby hairs would make it more of a seamless look? The scenes between Mike Manning (Bradley) and Jason Vendryes (Stranger/Kenny) feel quite... pasted in. Very quick and to the point.
