  1. Y&R: Jack tells Nikki, and then Kyle, that Diane is alive Last week, citing a "family matter", Jack had asked Kyle to return to Genoa City ASAP. Kyle had agreed and now wonders what he will be walking into. Monday April 25 US episode (Friday April 24 Canada) Jack and Phyllis are in the Grand Phoenix lobby and notice Diane coming out of the elevator, trying to escape. Phyllis pushes Diane back into the elevator and escorts her back to her room. Meanwhile Nikki had arrived in the Grand Phoenix lobby. She noticed that Phyllis was pushing someone into the elevator - but didn't see who it was before the elevator doors shut. Nikki asks Jack about this; and Jack tells her that Diane is alive. Jack says Deacon helped Diane fake her death. Nikki says Deacon is a "sonofab!tch". Then Nikki demands that Jack take Nikki to Diane's room, so he does. The episode ends with Nikki entering Diane's room. Kyle rushes home (with Harrison). Jack had promised to be waiting at the house for them; but when they arrive at the Abbott mansion, Jack is not there. Kyle is puzzled. (The viewers know Jack is delayed with Nikki/Diane/Phyllis.) Remainder of week of April 25: (The Tues. 26 April US episode will be the Nikki/Diane confrontation). At the Abbott mansion, after Harrison is sent to the kitchen for cookies, Jack and Phyllis arrive. Phyllis gives Kyle and Jack space to talk alone. Jack tries to ease into the conversation, but Kyle asks that he just say whatever it is. Jack had previously told Kyle in a videochat that Keemo had died. Now Jack tells Kyle about Keemo and Allie. Kyle is stunned to learn that he has a niece named Allie. Kyle is very excited but then says, you could've told me that over the phone. Then Jack talks about all these anonymous text messages from Los Angeles and the research into that. Kyle is confused and wonders what that has to do with him. Jack finally reveals that Diane is alive. Mealor says that Kyle feels devastated. Kyle has done so much work on himself to deal with the loss of his mother, so he has to decide if he even wants to see her. He has a good life and family now, so why would he want to add Diane's chaos to that?
  2. I don't know what's happening here; but they are probably talking about Rey. --------------------------------------- Y&R: Rey update: Last week, Rey's mother Celeste had requested that Rey be buried in Miami; but Sharon had not yet decided. In the Monday April 25 (Fri. April 22 Canadian) episode, Sharon decides that this is what Rey would have wanted. There are some nice moments with Mariah, Tessa, and Noah (just the three of them) sharing fond memories of Rey and how good he was with Sharon. Next: Sharon plans to go to the morgue to say good-bye to Rey - but I don't know if Y&R show that, or if it will be offscreen. (Sigh). _______________ Spoiler for Thurs. April 28: "Chance makes a shocking discovery." (Would this is about the car accidents, or Chelsea/Connor, or something else?)
  3. Cable guide Monday 25 April 2022 Willow finds a visitor at her door, and the conversation takes a turn when Michael arrives. Curtis tells Marshall it's too late. Carly seeks out Alexis at home. 4. Y&R: Lily and Devon are discussing the merger of Chancellor Industries and Hamilton/Winters. Lily assumes they will both be present at press conferences and other public events. Devon is taken aback and tells her he is not very comfortable in the spotlight. But Lily insists that she and Devon be seen as a team. Queen Drucilla's children discussing a major corporate merger... in a hotel lobby. (sigh). Fyi, in the write-up, Bryton says that Devon still feels like a "kid from the streets" who is uncomfortable in the public eye, in contrast to high-fashion Lily. Or something like that. My thoughts? What? I don't see that? Devon has been a billionaire since 2013, has his own private jet, is a record producer, and has hosted events to honor Neil. He seems comfortable with himself and comfortable with elegance. Also, why does the merger publicity have an article about it? It's probably a 2-minute scene.
  5. Week of 25 April: Elizabeth opens up to Lucy Aiden recently had a conversation with Lucy about spirits and how he wanted to communicate with Franco. This week, when Elizabeth and Finn run into Lucy, Lucy mentions the conversation she had with Aiden. Finn looks at life from a scientific point of view, and thinks this stuff is ridiculous, so he berates Lucy for discussing this with Aiden. One Lucy and Elizabeth are alone, Elizabeth confides in Lucy about the possibility that she's being haunted, and Lucy urges her to consult a medium.

  7. Week of 25 April: Stephanie Erb appears as temporary Alexis (while NLG is recovering from spinal surgery) These photos are from Stephanie Erb's instagram around the time that these episodes were filmed: Stephanie Erb as uninjured Alexis (headshot probably taken at Erb's home): Stephanie Erb -- apparently as injured Alexis in special make-up? Or an actual cut? This is most likely from a physical struggle between Alexis/Harmony/Carly? Relevant spoilers: Monday 25 April 2022 Carly seeks out Alexis at home. Diane makes a compelling argument. Tuesday 26 April 2022 Alexis and Carly find themselves in a dire situation. Week of 25 April: Harmony goes off the rails with Alexis and Carly Harmony is attempting to destroy Neil's case file on her, because this file establishes her motive in Neil's death and also contains Neil's notes on Willow's true parentage. Carly's view on this: Willow is Michael's life partner and is raising Carly's grandson Wiley. Therefore Carly feels protective of Willow. Also Carly has noticed Harmony and Nina's interactions - that something seems off. For all those reasons, Carly is suspicious of Harmony. Carly arrives at Alexis’ house, just as Harmony is about to destroy that file. Meanwhile, Alexis has a frank talk with Diane, which causes Alexis to decide that it's time for Harmony to move out of her house. Then Alexis returns home to break this news to Harmony. When Alexis, Carly and Harmony converge at Alexis' home, Harmony's secret is about to be exposed. (The weekly promo shows that Carly has pulled the file out of the fire and sees Dr. Byrne's name on it). Harmony goes off the rails and there are going to be fireworks.
  8. That reveal (of Summer's husband Austin having had an extended offscreen affair with Abby) happened *during* Austin's funeral. March 5, 2015. Yeah it was out of nowhere. However, it was the best scene Hunter King ever did: After everyone left the funeral, and she was alone with his coffin and ranted with rage at Austin for his betrayal. Her rage was fire. She *can* act. Just most of the time they gave her bland stuff to do.
  9. Emily/Patty and Sarah/Lauren were separate doppelgänger storylines running simultaneously in 2010. (both via plastic surgery) Justin Hartley's Adam had plastic surgery to look like the dead Gabriel Bingham. Apparently Mark Grossman's Adam still looks like Gabriel Bingham.
  10. That M.H. twitter account has no scoop. That account posts rumors. Sometimes they get stuff right but even a broken clock is right twice a day.
  11. Krista Allen said that they had filmed pics of her to put into the opening credit sequence, but there was a glitch and it needs to be refilmed, and the refilming was taking time to reschedule.
  12. In the past 5 years, a lot of DAYS actors have had 3-month contracts or 6-month contracts. Most newcomers have contracts of one year or less. Sometimes the actors (oldtimers and newcomers) go on a contract for a while, then recurring for a while, and then back to short contract.
  13. In the old days, the primary contract actors would have guarantees of 3x per week. (And the nonprimary contract actors would appear maybe 2x or 1.5 times per week). Nobody gets that anymore. I think most contract actors right now appear maybe 1x per week or 1.5 times per week. Some average even less. @JAS0N47 would you please clarify that? If actors have low guarantees, then it averages out, so if they are on three times one week, we might not see them again until two weeks later.
  14. Everyone is great here. (except for the boring Noah actor) I think Sharon Case looks better here. They have Sharon Rosales in little-to-no makeup after the death of her husband, and the actress' natural beauty and expressiveness shines through better.
  15. Kristian Alfonso appeared on E! News' Daily Pop on Friday April 22, to talk about Beyond Salem (Chapter 2). https://www.eonline.com/videos/337884/kristian-alfonso-spills-on-return-to-days-of-our-lives The plain video clip is here: https://player.theplatform.com/p/BdHJDC/pdk6PocStable/select/media/tnU_wG6veMbe Update: K.A. on E! Pop - from their youtube channnel
  16. That scene of John and Sami watching strippers together... That is not canon John nor is it canon Sami. That scene is from the noncanon Christmas movie. The entire Christmas movie was something from Will's imagination about how he would write a Hallmark Christmas movie using Salem characters. Dead Nick (Blake Berris) is dancing because Brandon Barash got COVID right before they filmed the movie, so the powers that be decide to have Nick be Gabi's love interest in the movie, since none of it is canon. This scene says more about Will's imagination than anything else. Maybe they'll eventually have the regular daytime show characters make a comment that Will once wrote a stupid Christmas movie, but the plot within the movie won't be canon. Right now the only thing that's canon is that, in 2014, Will wrote a movie script about Sami's life, which was never filmed. In 2021, Johnny and Allie read a paper copy of that script.
  17. Just an fyi, @Errol posted a bit more info about Allison Lanier's background here: https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/61001-article-‘the-young-and-the-restless’-casts-newcomer-allison-lanier-in-the-role-of-summer-newman/
  18. Thursday March 31: Ashley Jones appeared as Bridget in a phonecall to Brooke, and she was wearing doctor wardrobe. Brooke assumed that Bridget was calling from her home in New York. Bridget replied "Actually, I just wanted to let you know I’m back in L.A. I’m working out of University Hospital for a while to help with restructuring and shortages." Brooke was surprised and said "it will be good to see you". Bridget next appeared Tuesday April 7: Bridget was on the scene when Steffy is brought to the hospital, and became Steffy's doctor. SOD confirmed that Ashley Jones will be around for a while as Bridget.
  19. I posted this for the preview video. I'm sorry I was unable to find the video in any format I could embed (twitter, youtube, mp4) But you can watch the video *inside* the tvinsider link. https://www.tvinsider.com/1041427/general-hospital-ned-adopts-olivia-son-leo-autism-awareness/ This is a clip from the 22 April episode. The scene is titled "Olivia details Leo's theater therapy". If the video won't play for you, here is a description: The Quatermaines are having a party to celebrate Ned adopting Leo. The party guests are at the Q-mansion. Olivia, Leo, and Ned are in a room with Brook Lynn and Drew. Chase is late and Leo is disappointed that Chase is not there. Brook Lynn is on the phone trying to reach Chase, but he doesn't answer his phone, so Brook Lynn leaves him a voicemail. Olivia tells Brook Lynn and Drew .... that Chase was wonderful with Leo during the time when Chase was living with Brook Lynn on the Quartermaine property caring for Bailey Louise. Then Olivia tells Brook Lynn and Drew that Leo is in "theater therapy" for children on the spectrum. She explains that it's an after-school program which uses skits to help to practice using speech, taking turns, making eye contact, etc. Olivia explains that she convinced Leo to participate in the theater therapy program by telling him that Chase, Ned, and Brook Lynn are all performers. Brook Lynn is uncomfortable as she mentions that she hasn't performed lately. Ned says the therapy program will culminate with a performance/show for the parents during Autism Awareness Month. Olivia says Leo has been loving the program and has made a lot of new friends, and he will recite a poem at the therapy show. She asks to Leo that he recite his poem. Leo says but that's not until next week. Olivia says that he could do a practice run today for the party guests, and tells him to go get his note cards. It's a cute video. Leo is adorable. Ned is very proud. Olivia loves explaining this stuff. Brook Lynn is really animated and interested. Drew just stands there and asks a couple of questions. There are other party guests in the other room - you can see glimpses of them through the doorway but I couldn't make out who they were.
  20. Wally has done some longer video or audio interviews in the past. He seems to keep track of all the storylines on both shows - he has said that he watches them! And he comments coherently on what's happening, even storylines he's not in. He seems genuinely appreciative of the opportunity to work on both shows and he doesn't take it for granted. I know that some actors (from various soaps) have said that in order to memorize their current lines, they simply don't have enough room in their brains to focus on what is currently happening with other characters. Some actors have said they literally have to forget what their own characters did in the past, so that they can accurately remember today's scripts. I guess I understand that those actors are just trying to do their jobs. I think they *would* try to keep track of everything if they could, but they can't. But from what Wally has said, I get the impression he can track everyone past and present in both soaps, and that's amazing to me.
  21. Wally Kurth previews the 22 April 2022 episode with TV Insider. "The Quartermaine family and friends celebrate Ned's adoption of Leo." Text interview with photo and a video preview. https://www.tvinsider.com/1041427/general-hospital-ned-adopts-olivia-son-leo-autism-awareness/ Wally talks about what it's like to play the character Ned who is adopting the character Leo - who is a child with autism... while Wally himself is a real-life father of his own son who has autism. And how GH is handling this storyline. He also discusses the storylines about Ned's relationship with Olivia.
  22. Wed April 20 Canadian (Thurs April 21 USA). omg I'm crying and I cannot type. Here are just *some* of the things that happen... Chance is at Crimson Lights bonding with Connor as they wait for Rey to return with the tickets. They all realize Rey must be delayed for some good reason, probably police work. (They don't yet know Rey died) But you can see that Sharon dreads something. Chelsea says it's getting too late to go to the game and she takes Connor home. At Crimson Lights, Chance receives a phonecall from the station about an accident, but he doesn't tell Sharon what it's about, and he leaves, saying he has police stuff to do. Chance and Nick are at the accident scene and have confirmed that Rey has died. Chance told Nick to tell Sharon. Other stuff happens. Mainly VIctoria not caring about anyone or anything except for Rey. Ashland starts saying he loves her but Victoria starts talking about Rey again. She doesn't entirely believe Ashland, she wonders why he left Rey there. Ashland said he wasn't breathing so he left. Victoria says someone should perform CPR. Ashland says it was too late. She insists on standing up to go outside to find Rey's car and help him. She tries to stand but her leg won't cooperate. Even when Victor and Nikki find her in the cabin, all she wants to talk about is Rey. Victor and Nikki want to know why the f*ck is Ashland there. Victoria hurriedly explains that he saved her (no details, just the minimum so her parents stop focusing on Ashland) and then she immediately goes back to talking about Rey. She's very worried about Rey, and wants to know if the EMTs came. Victoria is mainly worried that Rey is hurt. She's also concerned that she may have caused this. Her parents tell her that it's confirmed that Rey is dead. I'm telling this out of order but I'm too emotional to be coherent. The most important scene... Nick arrives at Crimson Lights. Sharon sees his face and she just knows what he's going to say. She turns her head away and rambles on about Rey's favorite foods. Finally she turns and looks at Nick and tells him she just knows. He gently tells her. He holds her (platonically of course, like a best friend or a brother). I cannot describe the scene. Amazing Sharon Case. I'm crying too hard. Just watch.
  23. I agree with what you said, we don't know yet which episodes they're from. The source is a video interview with Greg Vaughan - in the background of the interview these pictures displayed. I think it's basically upcoming Eric scenes which could air at any time in the future. The show has been promoting GV's return - he's done at least 4 or 5 interviews in the past week or two. Thank you for posting the pictures!
