That's not the promo. Near the end of each week, Y&R releases a preview clip of a few scenes from the coming week, titled "Next week on Y&R", which is what I posted. (as you said, it's a "glimpse". I posted it here because there's a glimpse of the wedding guests) The actual promo is usually released on Sunday morning.

Cady posted that on Jan 6th. She deleted it shortly thereafter because fans recognized that it was a Days dressing room.

I think they're going for the look of the type of 1970s discotheque where people used to get dressed up. I used to compete in dance contests back then, and I wore dresses like what Allie, Elena, and Abby are wearing. I had several outfits in the style that Elena is wearing! I used to own a rainbow dress like Allie's but mine was cotton and not sparkly, I would have loved a sparkly one!

I love Ashley Abbott. But in the past year or two, Eileen has been playing Ashley more stridently than I remember. There's less of a differentiation between Eileen's Ashley and Eileen's Kristen ... than there used to be. Yes she plays them as very different characters! But not as different as they used to be. I'm starting to miss Brenda Epperson's energy.

I think Teriah were planning a 1970s-themed wedding?

Maybe it's the orange colors of the set pieces?

Mariah asked her old friend Kyle to be the officiant. Not sure why Jack is at the wedding. Maybe because Mariah works or worked at Jabot? (even though we haven't see the Jabot set in ages)

Sounds like Steffy finally remembers Sheila's wine-label-switch plot. And then later Thomas confesses that to Ridge that he knew. And we're left with everything back the way it was before Brooke's drunken New Year's kiss with Deacon. Except that Finn is dead. And Ridge has been hanging out with Taylor. I am re-reading the SOD May sweeps article for B&B -- Ridge realizes he was an idiot and that Brooke was manipulated. From the daily spoilers, it seems like Bill berates Ridge for dumping Brooke. So that's it? All that nonsense as a way to kill off Finn? Really?

"confirmed that John was really ... " (until he wasn't)

I think nobody but the viewers know that Clyde raped Jordan. The confrontation between Jordan and Clyde about that happened in Salem, onscreen, but nobody else was there. I don't know if any other characters ever learned about it? Were there ever any scenes of Jordan telling anyone in Salem about it? Maybe someone in their hometown of Poplar Bluffs, Arkansas knew; but I doubt the news made it to Salem. Back in 2014, Clyde had a henchman from Poplar Bluffs working for him in Salem (Jeremiah?) If he knew, it wasn't mentioned onscreen. News like that should have reached the prison grapevine at some point, but it doesn't seem to have done so.
