  5. A larger view. Edited to add brightness.
  6. Jason47 said something similar on another board that this is what he experienced. "Peacock's episode length was 46 minutes. I just checked the NBC commercial timings and I see where the error is on Peacock. Around the 25 minute mark, they accidentally forget to add a commercial and air Act 5. Then there's a commercial and then Act 5 is aired again, followed by two airings of Act 6 in a row."
  7. This is a report on Naomi Judd's death. The coroner had to do a detailed formal report in order to have it legally ruled as a suicide (even though that wasn't in dispute). This article describes the report compassionately and fairly --- and is NOT sensationalized, and I appreciate that: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2022/aug/27/naomi-judd-death-suicide-autopsy-report If anyone wants to read about it, I suggest that link. Instead of reading something on a more sensationalized site. For anyone in need: List of international suicide hotlines https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/basics/suicide/suicide-prevention-hotlines-resources-worldwide
  8. FYI, I noticed that Clyde Kusatsu's IMDB lists two different 2003 episodes as "Nobu". But his wikipedia page lists only one of them. Of course either/both sites could be in error. I was able to find Nobu in the June 2003 episode I cited, which is the only one on his wikipedia page. I wasn't able to find him in any episode recap or transcript for the May 2003 episode on his IMDB.
  9. @slick jones @JAS0N47 I apologize for messing up. The transcript says Nobu, just as Jason's site says. I don't know why I wrote "Noru" in my other post here. I think I was comparing several different things and got myself confused. Again, I apologize.
  10. Earlier today, I looked at the link but that article was "not found" on the LAmag.com website. So then I found it on "google cache" so that really was a legit link. Apparently it was there but had recently been removed from their site. Then I ran the googlecache though the archiving site and saved it there, but I didn't have a chance to post it until now. Here is the archived link: https://archive.ph/z6yEE Not sure why lamag.com took the original down from their site, so I guess I'd advise reading the link with some skepticism in case there are errors or whatever.
  11. I think Billy went to Gamblers Anonymous (or some sort of treatment program for compulsive gamblers.) Not AA.
  12. Trivia about his 2003 appearance: Clyde Kusatsu played Japanese sushi chef "Noru" who was a guest on Jack&Jennifer's TV show "In the House". The plot was that the martial artist who was supposed to appear on J&J's show wasn't available at the last minute, so Jack dashed out and got a local restaurant sushi chef to appear as the guest on the show instead. DAYS episode of June 24, 2003 US (June 23 Canada). Detailed recap of that episode and his scenes: http://tvmegasite.net/updates/days/2003/days-06-24-03.htm (They mistakenly called him "NoBoo" in the recap. but the name is "Noru".) EDIT, that should say "Nobu", not Noru. Transcript (with character name spelled correctly): June 24, 2003 US (June 23 Canada). http://tvmegasite.net/transcripts/days/older/2003/trans-da-06-23-03.htm

  17. Thanks to @Forever8 for finding this and posting it in the 90210 thread... Aug 25, 2022 ianziering Verified In the last few months we’ve lost Jessica Klein one of 90210’s most prolific writers and producers, Denise Douse who played Mrs. Teasley, and now I’m very sad to say Joe E Tata has passed away. Joey was truly an OG, I remember seeing him on the Rockford files with James Garner years before we worked together on 90210. He was often one of the background villains in the original Batman series. One of the happiest people I’ve ever worked with, he was as generous with his wisdom as he was with his kindness. Though the peach pit was a 90210 set, It often felt like the backdrop to the Joe E Tata show. The stories of days gone by that he would share, incredible experiences in the entertainment industry that he was a part of would keep us all captivated. He may have been in the back of many scenes, but he was a leading force, especially to us guys, on how to appreciate the gift that 90210 was. My smile dims today but basking in fond memories moves him from my eyes to my heart where he will always be. My sincere condolences go out to his family and friends, and everyone else he was dear too. Rest In peace Joey 🙏
  18. Yeah I just added an edit to my prior post -- The Sept 19 date is the official start of the NBC fall season. (So that's why it's the start of primetime shows being sent to Peacock after airing.) Also this includes late night NBC shows (and not just primetime) such as Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers. I'm not sure but I think these primetime and latenight shows will go to Regular Peacock after airing (not premium?) I just re-read the press release ... I think it says that Bravo shows will go to Peacock Premium after airing. Read the full release here: https://www.nbcumv.com/mediavillage/interactive/2929fed4187b40648b79a9839e70e91fproduct169208/index.html#/brand/a1341f9e-f9d2-43b6-abfb-5d61d6aa3adb/press-releases/867f8b72-e4b1-4f75-901a-afc9237bb19b
  19. The Sept 19 date is the date that most of the NBC primetime shows go to *only Peacock* after airing (instead of the prior pattern of going to Hulu *and* Peacock after airing). For example: the Wed eve "Chicago" Med/Fire/PD shows, the Thurs eve Law&Order franchise shows, and Saturday Night Live and other late night shows. Bravo shows will go to Peacock after airing as well - mostly to Peacock premium. EDIT to SIMPLIFY: Sept 19 is mentioned because it's the start of NBC's fall season.
  20. @Errol You said the discount offer doesn't begin until Sept 19 ... but I thought it was for anyone enrolling at any point in September. The TVLine article says that the primetime shows switch from Hulu to Peacock on Sept 19; and DAYS switches from NBC to Peacock on Sept 12, but the $1.99 discount offer starts for anyone signing up "during the month of September". https://tvline.com/2022/08/24/peacock-streaming-price-discount-next-day-nbc-shows/ And I just checked the NBC Universal Media Village The peacock press release says: "Fall Celebration Offer—$1.99 per Month, or $19.99 for the Year—Available to New Peacock Premium Customers Throughout September <snip> With so much great content coming to Peacock in the coming months, Peacock is providing new customers with a special Fall celebratory offer. Throughout the month of September, new customers will be able to sign up for Peacock’s premium tier for just $1.99 per month, or $19.99 for an entire year, and enjoy access to their favorite NBC and Bravo series, as well as Peacock’s massive offering of movies, TV shows, live sports, news, and more." https://www.nbcumv.com/mediavillage/interactive/2929fed4187b40648b79a9839e70e91fproduct169208/index.html#/brand/a1341f9e-f9d2-43b6-abfb-5d61d6aa3adb/press-releases/867f8b72-e4b1-4f75-901a-afc9237bb19b
