"An unexpected proposal of marriage is made." Deacon proposed to Brooke! I did not expect that.

Not sure if that's intentional or a mistake. I mean the B&B and Y&R youtube staff have been confused the past few days, so maybe it's a mistake. But on the other hand, as a promotion, the CBS youtube channel has intentionally posted the first 2 or 3 full episodes of their new primetime series East New York and Fire Country.

I love Allie! Sometimes she's written as bland; but for the mostpart I love her! Bland maybe? Unsufferable? No. (only my opinion, of course).

Y&R and B&B have fixed their youtube promo SNAFU. They took down the Y&R promo that had the B&B title and was on the wrong channel. The correct promos are now posted with the correct titles to the correct youtube channels. Here is the Y&R one:

Fyi, the recent scenes with Tripp and Joey were filmed at the same time as Beyond Salem 2 - late April to early May 2022. https://jason47.com/days/productionschedule.html I assume that they had to bring back Tripp and Joey for Kayla's illness. I remember reading that when Tripp's exit to move to Seattle aired earlier this year, it was mentioned by either the actor or Ron then that Tripp would be reappearing later in 2022, so I guess it was for this Kayla arc. The most recent SOD said that Tanner Stine (Joey) has already finished airing. It didn't say anything about Tripp. I don't know if Tripp stays or not. Maybe he stays a little while in doctor mode and then leaves later? I don't know. Also fyi, Victoria Grace (Wendy) is on contract per closing credits. But yeah, the "who's the better Johnson" scene made no sense with Joey exiting the same week.

yup. A lot of this toxin illness seems like a metaphor for Covid without the contagious aspect. Unknown illness. Search for a cure. Different symptoms in different patients. Some hospitalized and others not. Cure requires additional doses and boosters. But Kate having a quick recovery and immediately feeling perky enough to have sex? Well I guess she doesn't have the fatigue of Long Covid. LOL.

Brook Lynn and Chase! Brook Lynn and Chase go out on a date. He convinces her to stop talking about everything else in their lives... and instead talk only about their connection. Also, at some point, Brook Lynn watches a Chase interview where he says some nice things about Brook Lynn... and from how he speaks, she gets that he truly values her and cares about her. Later, they go back to the Q-mansion and make love in her bedroom.

Anna is arrested for Lucy's "death". She guesses that Victor has orchestrated all this. Robert and Mac visit Anna at the jail and tell her that they believe someone must have set her up. Anna tells them about her fears for Valentin and Charlotte.

It WAS a fantasy. All in Thomas' mind. He imagined the kiss at the end of one episode, and then in the next episode he told himself to stop the fantasy.

Liam and Douglas (summarized and paraphrased) Thomas has set it up that if Hope wants to see Douglas, she needs to come to the Forrester home. But there was never any formal decision/agreement/arrangement made between the parties involved. Thomas orchestrated this all on his own and set his own rules. Hope's visits to the Forrester home have been increasing. She has stayed to have dinner sometimes. Then she begins spending the night there, in her own room, and then brings Beth over there to visit. Thomas also has increased the amount of fun games/toys/etc for Douglas, beyond a normal level. Liam realizes that Thomas might be manipulating the situation or at least trying to create a fantasy situation. Liam is also a bit frustrated that Hope is placating Thomas. At some point, Liam begins to become a little concerned about the seeming growing closeness between Hope and Thomas. And of course, Liam misses Douglas. Liam goes to the Forrester mansion. Thomas is not home. Douglas is hanging out with Eric. Liam asks Douglas "When are you coming back home to the cabin?" (Liam does not mention anything to Douglas about the CPS call, the knife, etc.) Liam simply wants to know how Douglas feels about all of this. Steffy and Thomas: Steffy considers the fact that Thomas had recently (Fri Oct 21) told her that he has no interest in a girlfriend because his focus is on Douglas and work - and Steffy realizes that "work" is Hope's fashion line – and Hope. And then, as you can see in the promo, he slips and mentions to Steffy his "relationship to Hope". Steffy and Brooke (summarized and paraphrased): Steffy and Brooke encounter one another and argue. Brooke goes on and on and on... about Thomas being dangerously obsessed with Hope, giving examples from the past and the present. But Steffy is still holding on to the idea that Thomas is rehabilitated, and she loves him, so she continues to strongly defend him. Brooke gives more details about the large amount of time that Thomas and Hope have been spending together; and as Steffy listens and thinks about everything, the realist part of Steffy *begins* to inwardly wonder if maybe Brooke has a valid point. JMW says that Steffy would never on to Brooke that she might be considering what Brooke is saying. Wednesday, October 26 Steffy worries about the situation with Thomas and Hope. Thursday, October 27 Brooke and Steffy quarrel about Taylor, Ridge, Hope, and Thomas. Liam makes a touching request of Douglas.

Ridge/Taylor/Brooke SOD recapped the week of Oct 17th. This would have aired Friday Oct 21st, but was pushed to Monday Oct 24th because of the October 13th preemption. (paraphrased): Ridge goes to see Brooke. He tells Brooke that does not wish to hurt her and that he will always love her. Brooke demands that he explain why he suddenly left her to go be with Taylor. New spoiler: Many years ago, Taylor and Ridge lived in the beach house, which now belongs to Wyatt. Taylor decides to buy it from Wyatt, as a surprise for Ridge, so that it can be their home once again. Monday, October 24 Ridge shares his feelings with Brooke. Tuesday, October 25 Taylor bestows a romantic gift to a delighted Ridge.
