  1. More details here: https://techcrunch.com/2023/02/18/how-to-keep-twitter-secure-two-factor/
  2. Oh I agree. And that specific staff writer does a lot of nonsense speculating! I only read it because the entire stoyline that's actually airing is stupid, so why not laugh about unbelievable speculations.
  3. I don't know anything for sure, but in my opinion (but I could be wrong) ... that staffperson from that site simply made up those theories without knowing anything at all. (Well he did say they were theories and not facts.) You can tell he didn't know much because his first sentence is "Well, two incidents happened this week to make it clear that any hopes that this afterlife stuff is the result of some sort of kidnapping or mind control, or virtual reality were dead." He posted that Friday morning, several hours before the promo came out. The promo reveals that this *is* a kidnapping and the ladies are not dead, and they are cryogenically frozen, and everything they are experiencing seems to be simply within their minds. Obviously the kidnapper is trying to control their minds because they are having a shared delusion. We don't know *why* the kidnapper is doing this. Presumably it's Megan. She could try to clone people because anything's possible -- but it's just my opinion that I don't think so this time. But what do I know? I definitely don't think the time jump theory is true. Carlivati is writing stupid stuff so I can understand why people would try to create theories to explain his nonsense. Thank you for posting. It's all nonsense, so why not toss around theories about the nonsense?
  4. Well I was wondering if we learn that Megan is secretly in control of DiMera Enterprises? Or maybe Rolf is secretly working for Megan? Megan returns Feb. 24. Wei Shin (DiMera board chair and father of Wendy and Li) reappears at around the end of Feb.
  5. Note The cryogenic capsules say "DE" on them so maybe Megan is using the DiMera name now?
  6. The women are probably being held in Megan's lab where she had Bo? (following up from Beyond Salem)? It has to be Megan because she returns Feb. 24.
  7. LOL. Rex said when Kate was dying or had just died, that he had notified Cassie. I think that's the first time she'd been mentioned in years.
  8. All of these actors were in the 1991 Masquerade Ball episodes. Kind of amazing that they'll all be back at once.
  9. Rex lives in Chicago. I don't know where in Africa Bill Horton lived. I don't know where in Africa Steve and Kayla lived. Were they ever specified as being in any specific country? As mentioned above, Shawn and Belle live in Salem and were only visiting Claire in Johannesburg for Christmas/New Years. When Marlena was dying, Shawn and Belle decided that Belle would fly immediately to Salem but Shawn should stay in Johannesburg a little longer with Claire due to her mental health issues, because Claire might be upset/triggered by the ladies dying. The plan was for Shawn to return to Salem soon. Who knows what will happen with that. Serena, Xander, and Eric all lived in the Congo. Eric later returned to the Congo. I don't know the original scenes on regular Days but that connection was mentioned in Beyond Salem.
  10. The first episode of season three drops on Paramount Plus in about 2 hours. I'm so excited! I'm going to take a nap and then get up in the middle of the night and watch!
  11. Every few months Peacock has a deal that's available for only a couple of weeks, where you pay for a full year at greatly reduced price -- pay for a full year (with advertising) at 1/2 or 1/4 the price. These deals are only for *NEW* customers. (Check reputable cord-cutter websites for announcements). To get this rate, I cancelled my old monthly subscription, then signed up with a different email address as a new customer. Once I had this cheap annual subscription set up ... I then added on a monthly subscription fee of $5.00 per month to make it ad-free.
  12. You were probably kidding, but I wouldn't put it past them to ask something like that. Hope lost her virginity at a former slave plantation. Will the social media team know that? When Ben and Ciara visited Oak Alley, one episode had a guide explain to them the real history of the place and slavery. I'm not into Ben and Ciara but I watched that episode out of curiosity about how the show would deal with Oak Alley. But would the current social media team know this? Probably not.
  13. The Variety article mentioned Raquel's memoir. I found a description: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/7649305-raquel Sounds interesting!
  14. oh! Thanks. Don't know how I missed it!
  15. I put a link to the high-def version of the photo, on the photo thread https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/62276-gh-60th-anniversary-cast-photo/#comment-1837706
  16. Here is the pic in hi-rez: too big to embed, just click to view: https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnBsxOuD_i6xvGxf56fEO6BpT8KOIwatOgkYzjGHfkTIYwRyC1HCYG-QFpYAAVx1nOQSS9Y4vQlNTauPmp5Dfy-vApQMVWKwB9sHygfIZeT0qlGrbw4Cz417m5FyEscpPT6Ch8ZodwxE3hp8i-nTu_DFyVykhPjHhpaN--ygyxT4N23snEiG79jGVezA/s4000/331020182_546965733889971_4392841643431302660_n.jpg
  17. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2023/feb/14/rising-seas-threaten-mass-exodus-on-a-biblical-scale-un-chief-warns Rising seas threaten ‘mass exodus on a biblical scale’, UN chief warns. António Guterres calls for urgent action as climate-driven rise brings ‘torrent of trouble’ to almost a billion people. The climate crisis is causing sea levels to rise faster than for 3,000 years, bringing a “torrent of trouble” to almost a billion people, from London to Los Angeles and Bangkok to Buenos Aires, António Guterres saidd on Tuesday. Some nations could cease to exist, drowned under the waves, he said. Addressing the UN security council, Guterres said slashing carbon emissions, addressing problems such as poverty that worsen the impact of the rising seas on communities and developing new international laws to protect those made homeless – and even stateless – were all needed. He said sea level rise was a threat-multiplier which, by damaging lives, economies and infrastructure, had “dramatic implications” for global peace and security. Significant sea level rise is already inevitable with current levels of global heating, but the consequences of failing to tackle the problem are “unthinkable”. Guterres said: “Low-lying communities and entire countries could disappear for ever. We would witness a mass exodus of entire populations on a biblical scale. And we would see ever fiercer competition for fresh water, land and other resources. “People’s human rights do not disappear because their homes do,” he said. “Yes, this means international refugee law.” The International Law Commission is assessing the legal situation. In 2020, the UN human rights committee ruled that it was unlawful for governments to return people to countries where their lives might be threatened by the climate crisis. 18. Challie have one more scene coming ... Monday, February 20 Allie and Chanel share a bittersweet goodbye. My sense is that they still love each other but Allie probably leaves town to get her head together. Maybe she and Henry go live with Will in New Zealand? I doubt she'd go back to Italy, but it's possible.
  19. People did a huge photo for Days 50th. You could click on it and see hi-def. and then there was a reduced size one for posting on sites. Hopefully they'll release the huge one for GH.
  20. It's well-known that almost every newer actor on DAYS gets only a one-year contract. I can't say that's an ironclad rule but it's generally been happening over the past several years. They haven't signed anyone for a 3-year or 4-year contract in a long time. (I don't know the deal with RSW but he could *maybe* have been an exception?). It's dumb because then the younger talent leaves for other opportunities. But that's what Days does. I think Lindsay Arnold must be on good terms with DAYS. I don't think she has taped an episode in several months, but she attended the show's official cast&crew Christmas party on the set, on Dec. 15. There were lots of pictures.
