  1. That would've been fun to see. And it definitely would have been better then Nelle's intro storyline. I always hated that they wrote it that Jax paid Frank Benson for Nelle's kidney. That was one of the stupidest choices I've ever seen.
  2. I wouldn't say that. I think it's more like Corday thinking that everything is wonderful. I've always been a staunch defender of DAYS but even I have to admit these last two weeks were pretty messy. I like to think that this will wake Corday up.
  3. Lmaooooo maybe As for your suggestions, I guess that's possible, but at the same time no other soap seems to be having that problem and they're all in the same hard hit area. It could be related to budget issues too. Maybe they couldn't afford to have John and Marlena at Steve and Kayla's wedding because they wasted the budget for that episode on the Ben and Ciara crap lol But I agree that at least Roman should have been at the wedding. Idk. Corday gave an interview a few months ago in which he said that he's stepped back for the most part and left Ron to his own devices.
  4. I just don't understand all the stupid storyline choices in the last two weeks. As a whole, I thought DAYS has been pretty good these past months. Storylines, characterizations, even the acting for the most part. These past weeks messed a lot of that up, to the point where I have to ask, WTF are these people thinking? And the worst part is that it sounds like there's more stupid mistakes to come. It's days like this that make me wish that the other soaps weren't being preempted. And don't even get me started on that Romeo and Juliet mess
  5. Marie, to play that matriarchal role and Nathan and Jeremy. There's plenty of story left for both of those characters.
  6. Funny thing is in the SOD Best and Worst of 2020 issue, they said that GH even admitted that Willow was going to be Nina's daughter. My guess is that's what Shelly wanted, but when she left Chris decided to rewrite it. There's been quite a lot of writing malpractice under the current writing regime. Nelle, Shiloh, Dev and Julian were all killed off before the big secrets in their storylines came out. I still think Nelle's going to turn up alive though.
  7. Interesting. The more I think about it, the more I started to think Jill was scapegoated and that she wasn't completely responsible for all the problems at AW at that time
  8. AW Peggy Lazarus: She was the DA that prosecuted Brittany for Peter's attempted murder and eventually ended up dating him for a while. The show hinted that she had a past that Reginald knew about. I think it was even revealed that Peggy wasn't her real name, but then she just suddenly disappeared. Vampires: In 1995, people started showing up at the hospital with strange bite marks on their necks. Tomas also had dreams in which he was a vampire. Then it was just completely forgotten about. JFP or whoever was clearly trying to copy DAYS, and my guess is that someone above her put an end to the storyline. Passions Antonio's secret, and what he saw Julian doing that prompted him to leave town Ivy's blackmailing of David Hastings Jared's secret past GH Rosalie's secret, and why Brad had to marry her. Pretty much anything that had to do with the character of Dev. He went from being a thief, to a good kid, to having a crush on Josslyn, to being gay, to being asexual, and then finally a villain who schemed to get Joss, before being killed off
  9. I've been on a couple of spoiler sites and it sounds like
  10. Yeah ok. After everything that happened between Nina and Willow, they expect us to believe that
  11. Well, if they have her slapping people, I'll be all for it šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ Sorry to see her go. She was really good. Maybe she'll come back as another character
  12. Then again, maybe it was Laura's evil doppleganger that died and the real Laura is locked away in prison somewhere šŸ˜‚ And Gwen will rescue her and that's how she'll redeem herself
  13. I would love that, but something tells me that it isn't
  14. That is true, to some extent. Back then, the writers, producers, execs., etc. were so obsessed with new characters and younger characters on all soaps that a lot of veteran characters were shamelessly tossed aside. But it had been established all through the 1970s that mental illness ran in Laura's family and her greatest fear was that she was going to become mentally ill herself. So I can see why the writers at the time delved into that for Laura. After reading through all the synopses, I'll always believe that there was story left for Bill and Laura, especially if she gotten out of the hospital. But you're right, there was absolutely no need for this now. Nobody in the soap universe is demanding for younger characters and for the veteran ones to be sent off. Hopefully, the backlash from this will wake somebody up
  15. Jeez, are they that anti-Lucky that they're gonna have Liz interact with all of her former loves but him?? Regardless, I actually am looking forward to this. Hope it provides some good conflict, without any interference from anyone and without any propping of reformed serial killers. It'll be interesting to see how Cameron's gonna react when he meets his father for the first time.
  16. That sounds like it would be a good team. We never really saw what either of them could do because each time there was somebody else kind of ruining it for them lol (Broderick = Langan, Quan = Higley) I wouldn't mind seeing Chris Whitesell back either. If you can make Higley look good, then you got talent lol. I really enjoyed a lot of his work. His storylines were plotted out really well, he just needed some work on his follow up storylines. Broderick or Quan could balance that out for him.
  17. Same here. It looks like they're already going to try that with Ava and Shawn Sr's death. To do that to Laura as well is going to be just as ridiculous, if not more so
  18. I get it. For me, I've watched it for so long that it's at the point where I literally can't not watch, no matter how bad it gets or how many stupid decisions are made.
  19. I’d like to think that Laura will just be in a coma, but for some reason this time feels different. Hopefully the backlash from this will prompt someone behind the scenes to wake up. And I hope you keep watching, @KMan101 I’d miss your awesome posts in the monthly threads 😊
  20. Damnnnnn. Another reason why I really want to visit Texas šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚
  21. It's an 80s love song kinda night
