Yeah, it makes no sense. Business stories get so strange. To point where I don't even know exactly what anyone's actual job, or career for that matter is. They hire anyone off the street! Plus which, does anyone even have an area of expertise?

I've always find the presentation of local news to be extremely excessive anyway. Three hours a day should be fine. Basically everything is covered in the first half anyway. 6am hour Noon half hour 5pm half hour 11pm half hour That's lots o' soap time to me!

I like SVU and Original Recipe but, I really miss sitcoms. NBC just gave up on them.

Even sitcoms are basically dead now. It's all drama. Chicago Parks Dept/FBI: Antarctica/ Law & Order: Traffic Court It's starting to feel like the networks just don't want me watching TV! That's why I personally need The Gates to succeed. Soaps are a passion of mine and I don't want them to die.

Seriously! In my area there's literally almost SIX HOURS of court shows! That's just FOX! Why have they not tried to introduce a damn soap?! Maybe it's just my soap obsessed, delusional mind but, had they been up to this years ago, Fox might be the daytime soap King by now.

We seriously don't need six hours of the damn Today Show. At least with Leeza the show was used to promote the soaps. Today Show is just self indulgent crap. Megan's pay alone could have produced two or more years of a new show!

The Talk really does just suck! Too bad NBC hates soaps and they believe that the Today Show is their pride and glory. They could produce two new soaps for years on just the money spent on losing at least two hours of that crap. Remember how much they wasted on Megan?

It was very bizarre and even annoying that after Sandy left there were no characters in the music or film industry.

I wouldn't rely on guest stars to promote episodes. Plus which, you can't compare every show with Empire simply because of a Black cast.

That's how I feel! It's hard to find a single redeeming thing to say about Passions! The writing was bad, the acting was bad and the worst part is that they were serious. It to me was the catalyst for the failure of modern soaps. There were still 10 when it premiered, Passions included and it took them down quickly. It was such a joke. It actually angers me that it was on so long and Sunset Beach got screwed.
