Classic Sony. I do not think he is long for his job - the drumbeat is too big.
  2. How high do you have to be for that opinion? I do think Haiduk is very talented and was put in an impossible job and acquitted herself despite very inconsistent writing. I also think it's tacky of them to have Eileen play Kristen on the webseries (IF she is playing Kristen, which remains to be seen) if Haiduk is still employed on the mothership at the same time. That being said, tacky or not, do I think they should have not done this if Eileen was available and willing to play Kristen: Absolutely not. I'm not mad about it because there will forever only be one. The only thing I'd change is they could've done Haiduk the courtesy of dismissing her first.
  3. He sounds like Will Ferrell doing James Lipton on Inside the Actor's Studio!
  4. Oh, dammit. Nader had a lot of rough years IRL, but he never stopped having that class, presence, intensity and above all that voice. I started watching in his and Erica's heyday together, and I never got over him. Even after what he lost to drugs, he came back strong against all odds and a lot of doubts on AMC 2.0 in 2013, and was a very strong part of the new show after so many years and so much grief. That made me so happy then. I'm glad we got to see him one last time, and that he was able to make everyone remember he was the dark prince.

A well-researched piece on the Jeopardy disaster:

  7. The slow walkback begins:
  8. This is turning into an embarrassment for Beltway media who, in addition to cheering for war at the behest of their longstanding contacts in the brass, fiercely hoped this or the infrastructure bill could be the first big Biden scandal after months of 'boring.'
  9. ^ This is especially an issue with Ron's work in the 2010s and onward, at every show he's been on. All men under 55 exist as hot, dumb marks, unless they are outsize, broad villains or antiheroes, or camp or all of the above. Women are similar but it's most prevalent with the men.
  10. She's terrible and as a young adult could go for the Garren Stitt Crown.
  11. A good thread:
  12. It's cute that you think I have literally any influence with him since I think we last spoke in the first Obama term. Though I am far from the only poster who has found the aggressively horny on main shít in the regular threads uncomfortable for many, many years, I gave up on anything being done about it over a decade ago and unlike him I don't see a point in bringing it up now.
  13. Didn't the Elmans do the hurricane which then promptly killed Peter and Diana's child?

The final trailer is great. They've nailed the Celestials and it's great to see Richard Madden and Kit Harington.
  15. LOL, what's your point? The Beltway media has always loved this war and their sources in the military brass. Doesn't matter to the public, which still wants us out. Explicate your specific point. Meanwhile:
  16. Most of what you say is implausible and regularly disproven, but we've never stopped you from posting here.
  17. I thought Laura was brought back by Tom Donovan's regime and some other writer, but again, as per what we discussed a few weeks back, there is a lot of fog surrounding that period and when Marland actually got there vs. his name being on the scripts. (Who created Bobbie, etc.)
