  1. Ratioed to hell and back.
  2. I also usually check but occasionally make a mistake. What annoys me is the people who never bother to and get mad when you tell them.
  3. That's just some of it.
  4. Not that many, judging by the ratio.
  5. I agree. The polling isn't getting traction on these weak stories, and it clearly frustrates the Beltway which has always strained to pretend this is still a normal bipartisan, equally legitimate political world.
  6. Honestly, these releases are perceived by the media and the majority of the public as pathetic missives from nowhere. They are jokes and afterthoughts. They are nowhere near as powerful as when he had Twitter.
  7. No, I'm sorry but actually we do know the truth. You can go back and look in our archives. Or you can talk to the knowledgeable soap press sources from the time, who are all still readily available on social media. It was not a secret. They lowballed her and iced Hilary, then brought her back with this character. If you don't want to listen to what multiple people are telling you as a point of personal pride that's fine, but it's not rational and it's not in touch with the very widely reported BTS situation.
  8. It was all over press at the time. I mean, this is not speculation.
  9. Again, this is something where a bit of research would come in handy. She most certainly left over a money dispute and they did permadeath Hilary bc they were, at that time, historically uncomfortable with the character's popularity. It was widely reported at the time by credible people. Anything now about 'wanting something different' when she was approached to return is a polite spin for the Amanda character, which was not her idea or her choice. It was also IMO a deliberate move by the show to try to dampen her stock with the audience. They've spent the better part of the last 20 years trying to escape Y&R's cachet with the Black audience and turn it into a generic 2000s ABC soap.
  10. I'm not convinced Franco is actually dead unless they bury him with body fully visible and he's gone six to nine months. I would not jump to conclusions based on that SOD quote. But if they do bring him back as Character #3, my god. Get a life. And BTW, I loved Todd Manning, Todd was a great character but you'd have to be real tone deaf to think Todd can lead a soap opera in 2021. Serial gang rapist Todd Manning? Good luck! I love the character and I think he could be utilized again someday in some careful way, but AFAIC you can't in good conscience go back to the days when it was acceptable to have Todd frontburner as a romantic lead. Too much has changed even in the last five to ten years.
  11. Granted I'm not even watching this but I don't understand. Is Drew gonna come back with Franco's face and they're all gonna roll with that??
  12. Thread:
  13. Losing Twitter has completely castrated him. ^^ Maybe hot take, but I keep saying it: This is all he has left in the tank. He's not going to run again. He's done.
