  1. I remember the AI claims in that 20/20 banner. I actually watched that special - why, I don't know. LOL
  2. "For Richer, For Poorer: taste the rainbow." Sorry, I couldn't resist!!!
  3. True. Do you know what else that opening reminds me of for some reason? Logan's Run. LOL
  4. I just saw him on a rerun of L&O: CI not too long ago.
  5. HAHAHAHAHA!!! I know - it looks like something students in the late 70s would have seen in sex ed, doesn't it?
  6. That's a good description. Throw in a dash of Mark Hamill and the description would be complete!!
  7. Joseph C. Phillips really was underrated as Justus Ward - and was just starting to come into meaty story again in 1998 when Justus became Jason's lawyer. Then he abruptly left. Does anyone know why?
  8. Thank you all for your clarifications and your feedback. I've seen the YT clip of FR, FP's opening theme but would love to see a full episode, and that of its previous inception, L&F.
  9. That's where Abby was at her best - as the protective mama bear.
  10. Yeah, I'd love to see a tell-all about AMC or any of the other soaps like the one that was done the past year on OLTL. Talk about a must-read!!!
  11. Hey, does anyone here remember a show from the late 80s called Werewolf? It featured future GH star John J. York in the lead role. I watched an episode of it on YT yesterday, and the female guest star was Anne Wyndham, SFT's Amy Kaslo Carson from 1975-78. The show was low-budget and cheesy, but her turn as a single mom who is abused by her alcoholic boyfriend was chilling, especially in light of what went down in the NFL this past week. I'm surprised a lot of the violence got past the censors, but maybe they weren't as vigilant since the program aired on the then-brand new Fox network. Both Anne Wyndham and Danny Cooksey (who played her preteen son) were depicted as being slapped and kicked by the no-good boyfriend, who in the end is, of course, attacked by the werewolf. I've said it before, but I would REALLY love to see footage of her, Michael Nouri and Joel Higgins from when they were on SFT. I hope some of it still exists somewhere.
  12. I'm surprised Agnes hasn't written a memoir until now. I would love to read it and learn her take on the behind the scenes stories!!!!
  13. I don't know, but I did hear something about Judith Light saying she had been invited back before the show ended its ABC run. She said that Karen would have been married to Herb Callison. Can anyone confirm that?
  14. Did Tom King ever write for any soaps other than AW and RH?
  15. No, no offense taken. I'm surprised they don't have the clip of Sherry Mathis tied up with a snake poised to strike her with Nick D'Antoni waiting to swoop in on her on that channel. LOL
  16. Yeah, I noticed the fur fetish channel about a year ago. Still, that's not as disturbing to me as a women in bondage channel (especially in light of the fact that I live in the Cleveland area, where three young females were held captive for over a decade), but I digress. Still, I would have liked to see the whole episode, even though Travis meets his end. At least he went out as heroically as he came in.
  17. Here is a 1984 clip of TR being kidnapped by Warren and Ringo, leaving it up to Travis (TR's foster father) to rescue her. This was the last hurrah (or next-to-last hurrah) for Rod Arrants as Travis. He and Jane K. really have a great parent/child dynamic here. Whoever posted this clip has a whole YT channel on women TV characters in bondage. Pretty creepy if you ask me. I just happened to find the clip on a random YT search. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mtr5Y7cFnbc
  18. I'm curious as to how Lorie and Victor happened to be a couple. I know that they were engaged at one point before she gave his ring back and left town (which coincided with JLB leaving the show). She and some of the other members of the Brooks family came back for the Victor/Nikki wedding, and then she returned in 2002 (?) for a brief stint. What was the story? Did he hook up with Lorie after Julia left him for good?
  19. I thought so - thank you. Ironic that DA would leap from DAYS to GH, and years later Genie Francis would land on DAYS after GH.
  20. Also, thank you, robbwolff, for confirming the debut of the new (and final) theme. I remember reading that because of pre-emptions due to the nationwide news coverage of Challenger tragedy, the new theme sequence ended up debuting on a Wednesday instead of Monday as originally scheduled.
  21. I believe some of them are still up. Just go to YT and type "search for tomorrow flood" in the search box.
  22. I think the flood is also right when they began the new opening sequence and theme song (Bill Chinnock's "Somewhere in the Night").
