  1. OK, I never knew that. I guess that was before he was on SFT?
  2. I guess I missed that part. Thanks. One of my local stations started airing reruns of Silver Spoons. I know Joel Higgins got his big TV break on SFT. Did anyone see him on SFT? I would have liked to see him on the soap after the goofy dad on the sitcom.
  3. Yes, the casting for Alice post-Courtney just seemed so random.
  4. The only things that stayed the same from start to finish were the theme music and the opening title sequence! 😳
  5. @vetsoapfan, did you like Beverlee McKinsey better as Alex or Iris?
  6. True, but you could say the same for every character. The show itself was only a shadow of its original self.
  7. EXACTLY! No one will ever convince me that she wasn't not invited back. She is angry, entitled and party over country. Don't forget that a lot of people were home all day still, this time last year.
  8. That is sick...and low. Colin Powell was a million times more a man than T**** will ever be. 😡😡😡😡😡
  9. Definitely. I wonder if Labine/Mayer/ABC regretted not giving her a chance after Tolan and Goulet didn't work out.
  10. Part of me is surprised they actually haven't combined them into one show yet! 😝
  11. I think more of the onus would be on New World. They owned the show, NBC only aired it.
  12. David Haskell was only 37 when he played Nick, but he had a mature look that definitely went against him when he played opposite 19-year-old Robin Wright. Marie-Alise Recasner (Alice) is actually several years older than RW, but on the show was made to look younger. I agree that it was still creepy with Nick, at least visually.
  13. I still think a big reason why she left is so she wouldn't have to face a live studio audience.
  14. It's also true that Kelly had much more chemistry with Dylan than Nick. Nick looked (and acted) more like a father figure than a lover.
  15. I didn't even know that LA Law was being revived, much less on ABC.
  16. Yourself or people you knew - that was a big part of the charm of P&G soaps.
  17. That's a post for the Unpopular Opinions thread! Dylan was definitely a different character at the end than he was at the beginning.
  18. @DramatistDreamer, I think the word you mean is "earthy" - which the P&G soaps were, especially compared to the Bell soaps. Of course, the P&G soaps were based in NYC and the Bell soaps in LA, which played a large role.
  19. Does anyone think this will actually happen? https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2021/10/19/politics/january-6-committee-steve-bannon-donald-trump-congress/index.html
  20. Supposedly, the FDA is going to go for the "mix and match" strategy with the vaccines: https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2021/10/19/covid-delta-variant-live-updates/
  21. Meanwhile, 0% of viewers miss Meghan. 😂
