  1. And, of course, the two women were longtime castmates on SFT.
  2. Why was it lousy? I'm not familiar with the plots of that year.
  3. Those are great!! Thanks!!
  4. Here's a 2015 photo taken at St. Malachy's-The Actor's Chapel in NYC. On the far left is John Roney (Vaughn Sumner), who is also a parish trustee.
  5. Cool, what year is this from?
  6. President Rump really is America's version of Nero. He fiddles (OK, tweets) while America burns (or goes through a pandemic). 😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠
  7. SB sure did pack in so many memorable scenes, actors and characters in just 8 1/2 years. It only felt like a completely different show in its last year - with the absence of MW and AM, the (completely unnecessary) renovation of the Capwell home and too many new characters.
  8. I wonder if at any point they ever tried to get Lynn Loring back - before she moved to LA and became a movie executive, that is.
  9. Bill Cosby is granted an appeal...boo... https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/bill-cosby-granted-appeal-sexual-assault-case-supreme-court-172913829.html?.tsrc=daily_mail&uh_test=1_02
  10. Even Grey's didn't seem to have as much drama BTS as CM...which is really saying something!! 😲
  11. It's just too bad the show didn't keep him till the end.
  12. In other news, MLB has officially announced that a shortened 2020 season will begin next month. I love baseball and have missed it tremendously, but I don't have a good feeling about it or any other sport going forward right now. https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/29354014/sources-mlbpa-agrees-report-july-1-discussing-health-safety-protocols
  13. This op-ed sums up beautifully how I feel about President Rump: https://calthomas.com/2020/06/tulsa/
  14. Meanwhile, from the world of baseball... https://theweek.com/speedreads/921196/positive-coronavirus-tests-halt-phillies-blue-jays-spring-training--possibly-2020-mlb-season
  15. I guess Thomas Gibson and Mandy Patinkin had bad blood going back to their Chicago Hope days. Even after Patinkin left CM, things apparently never got better with Gibson around.
  16. I can't even picture Scott Bryce as Josh Lewis. Thankfully, he got the right role.
  17. I just finished the first two seasons of Young Sheldon. ☺
  18. Apparently, it was this article https://people.com/archive/a-set-becomes-a-set-to-as-mrs-kotter-takes-on-gabe-and-the-sweathogs-take-sides-vol-10-no-19/ that led Gabe to seek out Marcia for a talk. They did, cleared the air, and realized that Komack had been playing them against each other. Gabe happened to be guest-hosting the Tonight Show that week and invited Marcia to be on. She accepted, and the hatchet was buried. (I learned that in a TV interview with the two that has since been taken off YouTube.) I believe the last time the two were in public together was at the 2011 TV Land Awards. Gabe even wrote a tribute to Marcia in Time Magazine after she passed in 2014. https://time.com/3547835/gabe-kaplan-remembers-marcia-strassman/
  19. I am so glad I am out of the movie theatre business. At least we have a governor in Ohio who is relatively sane on this subject...and who also admits to wearing masks out in public!! What a novel concept!!
  20. FINALLY!! I hope he gets actual jail time out of this.
  21. This November 1976 episode on AW has Laurie Heinemann in it.
  22. Still think he's making it up, Trump???
  23. Thanks. I do believe the episode where Travis died aired in late June 1984. Louise Shaffer had taken over the role of Stephanie by the time Travis' funeral episode aired.
