  1. Through the mail autograph successes from Robert Burton (Mel) and Franc Luz (Dr. John Bennett):
  2. On behalf of all sane Ohioans, I apologize for this moron. 😠😠😠😠😠
  3. I think you're right on the money, @Juliajms. I'm sure most have you have heard by now that the release date for Mary's book was pushed up from July 28th to July 14th due to the overwhelming demand. With Rump furiously trying to stop the book from being released at all, you KNOW there's some really juicy stuff in there.
  4. I've said before that from August 1991 on (when MW/Eden left), SB felt like an entirely different show. The Walkers never fit in, though I can't fault Sydney Penny - a talented actress both before and after SB.
  5. I believe I have. There sure were lots of coffee commercials back then - and lots of soap stars making coffee commercials. ☺
  6. That was great!! Thanks for sharing it (and thanks to Eddie and Carol, too, of course). ☺
  7. Still, CBS Daytime has managed to cross over their stars to the other shows not in their chosen genre. You can see the Talk ladies and someone from Y&R and B&B occasionally give prizes away on LMAD and TPIR. Wayne Brady and Sheryl Underwood appeared on B&B. Of course, the hosts of the game shows and the soap stars have all been on The Talk. As for ABC giving up the 1 PM slot, I say they should...though I can't think of anything affiliates airing would be any better. Who knows?
  8. This story absolutely infuriates me. Just when you thought Rump couldn't sink any lower: https://ftw.usatoday.com/2020/07/nascar-donald-trump-bubba-wallace-noose-hoax-twitter
  9. She wasn't on for long - maybe a month.
  10. Never before have I been more vigilant about seeing my food prepared when I buy take out. A prime example of why happened today. My folks decided to take a drive, pick up some sandwiches and go to the Lake Erie shore to eat and watch the waves while in the car. Unfortunately, the Subway they stopped at in Ashtabula, OH, had NO workers wearing masks. My dad apparently gave them a piece of his mind before they went to another Subway where the workers did have masks on. How stupid and ignorant can these restaurants be??? 😠😠😠😠😠
  11. FINALLY some good news for a change! She is every bit as guilty as Epstein was and I hope she never sees the outside of a jail cell again!
  12. Was that when Meg Bennett got Liza or was it when Sherry Mathis took over?
  13. Right now, Gerry Waggett's Soap Opera Encyclopedia and the paperback version of Jeff Giles' Llanview in the Afternoon.
  14. When did she write for SB?
  15. It was Taylor Anne Mountz, Gina Marie May, Deanna Wright and Heidi Mueller.
  16. And, of course, the two women were longtime castmates on SFT.
  17. Why was it lousy? I'm not familiar with the plots of that year.
  18. Those are great!! Thanks!!
  19. Here's a 2015 photo taken at St. Malachy's-The Actor's Chapel in NYC. On the far left is John Roney (Vaughn Sumner), who is also a parish trustee.
  20. Cool, what year is this from?
  21. President Rump really is America's version of Nero. He fiddles (OK, tweets) while America burns (or goes through a pandemic). 😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠
  22. SB sure did pack in so many memorable scenes, actors and characters in just 8 1/2 years. It only felt like a completely different show in its last year - with the absence of MW and AM, the (completely unnecessary) renovation of the Capwell home and too many new characters.
  23. I wonder if at any point they ever tried to get Lynn Loring back - before she moved to LA and became a movie executive, that is.
  24. Bill Cosby is granted an appeal...boo... https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/bill-cosby-granted-appeal-sexual-assault-case-supreme-court-172913829.html?.tsrc=daily_mail&uh_test=1_02
