  1. The Dani wedding was awful for me and some of the worst acting I've ever seen but today's episode was really great. I actually felt for Derek when he dropped that ring. First time I have ever cared about that story. They actually had several interesting things going on at once. Joey's psychological games, Vanessa being pissed her husband was interrupting her cheating but then them starting to have a moment and Joey just has to ruin it, had to own her, because killing the guy just isn't enough. Girl is going to be destroyed. Very fitting ending for Doug. Solid Naomi and Jacob scenes. I can do without Ted and June but I kind of get it, he likes crazy side chicks, they could do something with that.
  2. Hah, a flashback I'd like to see is 1988 when Cricket had a kissing booth and the guys had to compete for her. That's when Scott and Chase were in the mix. I think I read Danny got dunked. (And these things were shown, not just talked about!) There was a very low quality clip floating around.
  3. Congrats to her, hope she finds the position rewarding. I do not expect anything to move the needle onscreen.
  4. It's there. When a person uploads to the Vault they can input their name and a new folder with their name is created in the root folder (GL Vault). Then, after a few weeks, those get moved to a folder that says "New uploads to be filed away on (date)" Then they get filed in the folder (Guiding Light Vault) by decade, year, and month, which is probably where you are looking and not seeing it. The idea of all that is to give people a chance to easily see what is newly uploaded and to give them enough time to download them before they get moved into their rightful place.
  5. I'm currently watching 1991 classics where Danny and Cricket are in their honeymoon bliss so I'm happy for them to finally get back together!
  6. I added it. Thanks!!! I corrected the dates. Please post any other updates here. Thanks! I deleted the bad copy.
  7. A very consequential one would be Tracey Bregman's pregnancy on Y&R, which led to the birth of Scotty and kicked off the baby switch. Tracey's son Austin played baby Dylan, the one who was switched, so that he could be on set with Tracey even though he was not Lauren's biological son.
  8. Oh, if you haven't heard of her, you're in for some twists and turns. Dont Google her!
  9. Do you mean Joann Curtis had the abortion? The 1976 summaries have her describing a past abortion (knowing Bill Bell, she probably said the emptiness she felt, led her to eat...) but I am not sure if she'd be confiding in Chris? I don't think I'm familiar with the clip.
  10. Starting at 6:10, a longer version of the clip shown the other day where Monica takes care of baby Jason at the gatehouse:
  11. @brockreynolds (love that username) moving this over here to ask... what clip? Is this when Leslie was pregnant?
  12. Bill will probably dangle Luna over a balcony for a while and then have a change of heart and agree she can't go to jail, she's PREGNANT!
  13. They don't want to write anything. It is much easier to rely on couples from back in the day so you can just refer to that history without showing anything (Victoria/Cole, Cricket/Danny) or have them sit around giving speeches about their great love (Victor/Nikki) or else just make up a backstory between characters and just talk about it (Audra/Holden).
  14. Kind of cheesy but cute. They are putting Cricket's wedding dress up for a vote on instagram starting on September 19: https://www.usmagazine.com/entertainment/news/how-young-and-the-restless-fans-can-pick-crickets-wedding-dress/
  15. Just put a wig on Thomas and call him Steffy.
  16. We could also volunteer our time. Write breakdowns, be extras, and assemble sets for free!
  17. I appreciate your work in writing it out. It's almost like Y&R is gaslighting us into thinking this is normal for a TV show (that's not quite the correct term but you get my drift). It's good having it in black and white.
  18. I've been tracking along in my head and noticed GH typically beats Y&R's daily set usage before their opening credits (they'll get to 6 or 7), and an episode runs as high as 10 sets, so that beats Y&R's two week total. Unbelievable. I knew it was bad, but this is WILD.
  19. I was half paying attention and then realized...that was the wedding? Believe me, I'm no shipper and don't care if they get married or not, but are they too lazy to even decorate the Forrester living room anymore? Is this going to be another "Carter forgot to file the papers, so they are not actually married," and then Ridge will declare it null and void when he sees Brooke talking to another man without his permission? And then run to Taylor? Are we supposed to believe these woman are chasing "marriage" to Ridge but the "marriage" is just this temporary situation that is, literally, not worth the paper that it's written on?
  20. Very well said. Can't stand Katie. What was with that "you should always count on Ridge!" stuff. What?! I love how Brooke was literally just standing there, just existing, when Thomas felt the need to go lecture her about accepting Ridge and Taylor. While Taylor was arguing with Ridge how Brooke is manipulating him, Brooke is just sitting in her office (pathetically) waiting. They really should just lean in to Taylor being evil. Wasn't her Broken Heart Syndrome diagnosed by that fraud, Dr. Buckhingham? Didn't Taylor buy Steffy a baby on the black market? Instead of having Taylor lecturing Ridge about Brooke, they should have Taylor revealed to have paid off Dr. B.
  21. Leslie might not be a sophisticated businesswoman but surely she didn't think someone in the middle of a high net worth divorce could just give a house away? And even if that meant the deal for the house across the street from Anita and Vernon fell through, won't she just try again? The ensuing scenes with Leslie and Eva were good but this was such a sloppy plot device. Chelsea being held in one static room, and the offscreen car crash, was giving a little Y&R. At least they all showed up at the hospital.
  22. Is Ridge even considered a popular character? Who would possibly tune in for this?
  23. Cannot strongly agree enough with these two posts (except, I'm sorry, I cannot agree with any praise of the Steffy actress' performance). The writing for this entire branch of the family is sick. And he did the same thing when he set her up with the CPS lie, not to mention lying about Hope's daughter being alive. And now I guess the direction the story is hinting at is because of his psychological problems, Ridge has to stay with Taylor, otherwise Thomas might get upset and he can't be held responsible for any violence that occurs, which will be either Hope or Brooke's fault for not giving him what he wants.
  24. They did a Memorial Day party in 1997 and Cricket had a special episode in 1998 where she recalled her marriages to Danny and Paul. Not sure if there's others after that.
