  1. It's a multi year recurring role, not a guest role. Need to tighten up the rules.
  2. Didn't know all this stuff about Deborah Norville. I'm impressed .
  3. Only thing I understood was arigato. Aw she's adorable.
  4. Best lighting nomination for a CGÌ fire? 😅
  5. Get it Kate with your feather duster!
  6. I started late so I could fast forward, unfortunately for me I am now caught up to live. 😅 Very happy Susan Walters won with her more understated style!
  7. I legit already see chemistry with Eva in the promo.
  8. As someone who didn't care for the twist, these comments are fair. It was smart of the writers to leave it open ended in a way that gave us a certain impression but without nailing themselves to specific facts and ages that would contradict this twist. I'm still not sold on this concept of keeping everything a secret from the audience and then having everyone find out at once. We've seen it with Leslie's parentage, Martin's secret, and Hayley's secret. I prefer the old school style where the audience is in on it like Eva's parentage. Or a mix. It's clearly a deliberate choice by the writers, which I respect. I think they want to usher in a new style so the newer viewers don't get bored, but some of them are assuming the writers are making it up randomly, which isn't the case. After the first year hopefully they settle into a rhythm of dropping more hints without making it feel like an abrupt change.
  9. I love your sig line. 😅
  10. Oh wow! Super looking forward to that.
  11. Yeah, the new procedure is you upload under your chosen username and everything goes in the root folder. Then we all see what is newly uploaded. After a while those get moved to a folder that says "New uploads to be filed away on (date)" then I eventually move them into their correct folder under the year and month. That gives everyone time to see what's new and grab it.
  12. There was even a foreshadowing of the rape back when Caroline got her apartment. She was a virgin then. She'd fallen asleep, and Ridge climbed into bed, letting her wake up and think they had sex. She cleverly retorted it must not have been very good if she can't remember it, so he quickly confessed. He is such an ass.
  13. The acting of Chelsea, Dani, and Pamela all at once... it's a lot. Maybe Hayley laced the cupcake with ED drugs, not arsenic. She did say that's the only good part about being married to Bill!
  14. Awesome Tried it and works well so far!
  15. I must admit I have never really contemplated what makes a good breakdown!
  16. I'm 100% with you. I was really intrigued when Hayley wanted to break Bill's legs at the end of yesterday's show. I felt like she was finally showing cracks and getting interesting. Then this reveal, IDK. They had originally made it seem like she'd been around for years and was a paralegal and it seemed like a sharp one, which you need actual skills to do. I think it had been discussed here, people were wondering at what age did she meet the Duprees, some wondered if she met them as a teen, and the show never technically said how long ago, so they're not contradicting themselves, it's just weird. For me this kind of strips away some of the conflict in the story. I'd been wondering what psychological or emotional issue drove her to fake a pregnancy when she and Bill seemed solid. Her jealousy was driving her mad. I'm definitely all for adding some layers of her being a gold-digger and having a violent streak, but not an outright cartoon villain who gives a 10 minute exposition of her evil plan. Now, what? She's the bad guy, it's not a triangle anymore where we have to see if Dani and Bill's passion overtakes them, now it's just of course we have to root for them because Hayley is trying to kill him. It would be more interesting to have her grey and have the characters be judgmental about her and never quite knowing if they are right or wrong, more like the Eva/Kat dynamic they did so well. Kay had the right instinct about Eva but she went about it in a classist way, and we wanted to root for Eva, but Eva keeps doing things that prove Kat right, yet we still root for her because she's complex and trying.
  17. Sorry to be blunt but Caroline was better off dying than getting stuck in the triangle for 35 years! It was bad enough she left Thorne for rapey Ridge, imagine what character assassination would ensue over the years. Basically Taylor's storyline.
  18. Errol, any idea if the Creative Arts categories will be made throughout the show, or do you think they will all be done during the first portion? And have they said how long the whole ceremony will be? Not sure I'm down to watch a 4+ hour live show or something...
  19. Oh no! I actually got to enjoy this one almost live for once!
  20. Well there goes my theory that Hayley does love Bill, haha. Marquita is struggling a bit with all this exposition, maybe it's not entirely her fault though. It's clunky.
  21. I'm reading Hayley as genuinely in love with Bill and lashing out, not a con artist. He's been gaslighting her by acting like she's being paranoid when he knows he did kiss Dani. Go Hayley.
