  1. I enjoyed the arrangements this Italian fan did of the various theme songs - particularly the 'Ritournelle' one. 😛
  2. Though, had it been up to me, I would have never gotten rid of the 'Ritournelle' theme, lol. I know Bridget Dobson hated that opening ("That thing with the dead leaves!"), but the music is so timeless and soothing. It's so simple and cost effective, too.
  3. That opening is probably Robert Calhoun's biggest contribution to the show. 31 years later and it still feels relatively fresh and not dated.
  4. I always felt JER tried to live vicariously through Theresa. I know some said that was Timmy, but I don’t agree. I also don’t think what PASSIONS ended up as was what JER had ever fully envisioned. That whole “parody of soaps” BS was because by the time he realized it was a lost cause and he didn’t actually have the talent to course correct or reinvent it, it was too late. All he could do was play up the stupid factor.
  5. It's hard to imagine a time in my life when I didn't know who Betty White was. She's almost like a lifelong friend you think will always be there, even though you know they'll be a day when that's no longer the case. RIP to a true legend and class act. Words cannot even begin to articulate what she means to so many of us. Two of her Emmy wins for TMTMS and GG, and a recap including some of her other wins:
  6. New trailer - seems to give too much away, but the folks at DC/WB have never been the smartest.
  7. The Reardons are a strange bunch - they went to Protestant under Marland to Catholic under Long…
  8. Ratings: FBI: Most Wanted Rises in Earlier Slot, Queens Hits Low Note ABC | The Bachelorette (3.2 mil/0.6) dipped, while Queens (1.11 mil/0.2) matched and hit series lows with its fall finale. A flop’s a flop….
  9. I keep waiting for Fran Drescher to show up and foil Mr. Sheffield's plans...
  10. Wow, the opening tally has surpassed Avengers Infinity War, and is just behind Avengers Endgame. ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Officially Opens to $260 Million, Second-Biggest Box Office Debut in History
  11. Shelley Curtis should be EP of GH. it would never happen, but she's the only person alive and active that I think would "get" this show.
  12. Box Office: ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Debuts to Jaw-Dropping $253 Million
  13. Even though much of it was leaked, it’s probably the best live action Spider-Man related movie I’ve ever seen. The entire theater went nuts throughout so much of it. And that was a great ending to set up Peter Parker and Spider-Man’s next chapter.
  14. Some things should just stay dead, and this is one of them. I have never enjoyed Michael Patrick King's take on the original series, and I still feel the same. I much prefer Darren Star's original concept that seemed hijacked and diluted as the original series progressed.
  15. Nancy also participated in a terrible Lifetime Christmas movie that Kim Fields starred and produced a few years ago. All the other women had a small role in that too (though I think Nancy's scenes were all remote and not in actual scenes with the other FOL women). By all accounts, the FOL women still seem close and in contact with one another. I know they often refer to one another as "sisters."
  16. I mean, Jennifer Aniston has never been able to play anyone but a variation of herself. What did people expect?
  17. B&B looks so garish these days, it's sad.
  18. Yes, as is the nightmare that is her bad plastic surgery…
  19. B&B also has a similar slogged together approach across all departments right now too. Juggling budget cuts with COVID protocols must be hell for these shows.
  20. It’s like everyone associated with this show has given up. Everything feels so damn slapped together with no effort.
  21. In a lot of ways, JER's first stint is akin to that of Megan McTavish's first stint at AMC - high ratings and the right time/moment, but was never to be duplicated again in successive stints. Also, just completely throwing away the sensibility of each respective show, and there was really no "going back" after that. Carly being buried alive was also basically JER's version of Natalie in that damn well, lol.
