  1. OC REUNION TRAILER!!!
  2. 10-30 Le sigh. A whole ass mess. The biggest mistake? The fact the New/Old Writers took any tension from the end of the last episode and went ahead and hit NEXT DAY rather than play it out from where they left off. And then...those shaking camera angles for Sasha/Michael...uhhh NO. I'll give credit for the twist of Michael/Sasha sleeping together with the nice foreshadowing of them having scenes again...but this was all lazy writing AND sloppy. It would have been nice to have Michael show up at the bar at the end of last episode, do your actor switcharoo, and then let the scene play out with a nice coda at the end of THIS episode. It would not at all interfere with the other story beats in this episode which still could have taken place. And now that Michael knows the kiss was not a one-off thing...I can't even get excited about him getting payback on Drew because I can't trust the New/Old Writers to NOT be sloppy. And now look at Drew. SMH. So much potential under PM. And now he looks like a creep. I was happy to watch Willow give him the business since she should have told Michael. If anything going forward, I guess it's not a bad thing to see with the breakup of Sasha and Cody that Sasha is being spun back into Michael/Willow/Drew orbit with some Cody mischief. But out of all of them, I am wondering what Cody's next moves will be. So the scenes with Cody this week have done their job. I feel more invested in him. Hm. Since I now knew it was coming, the hospital scenes felt paint by numbers. Those I enjoyed seeing Scout and Danny with Jason. And I enjoyed Alexis with Sam and Jason. But as soon as Portia and Liz ran off...I knew. And I liked how that scene played out of Jason suspecting. I felt SB gave a lot. I know some people online did not like how NLG came across. I guess I can see it, but I didn't feel she was tanking her scenes or anything. Meanwhile, given what was said here, I was worried that VH was going to come across camp AF. That said...VH did good to me, the reaction of a brother trying to save his sister. And I've watched ATWT and know how over the top his acting can be. I found that restrained for him, but still in the moment. And Portia and Liz were still more restrained and emotional than him. It was a nice contrast. That said...I didn't like how it went down for Sam. And sounds like it will be a case of run her over with a truck and back up over her. And given the online rumors and KM's last airdate...I guess the backlash will show itself soon enough if the rumors are true. So far...Tuesday has been my favorite episode this week. But this week as a whole is coming across so sloppy. Agree. I enjoyed how PM may all naysayers take notice of characters who had been so useless. And I ate it up with how adult it came across. Only for it to turn into THIS. Willow with her halo. Drew coming across as a creeper. Nina just a cameo. It really does. Very random. Ooooh clearly.
  3. @slick jones well I wasn't expecting you to drop Victor Webster and hottie Barash. Mmmm...and loving the current pictures of both. Not to mention the MUTANT X pic for Vic.
  4. And then they dragged it for a week before it took hold. lol. But very.
  5. I feel tomorrow is going to be a busy one so just in case...November Sweeps...or Sleeps? DISCUSS!!!
  6. RHOP And so it begins...the first cast trip. And Score One for La Dame. It was a given that people were going to be coming for her. Messy Mia. Jacqueline. Gizelle. Ashley. It was not a matter of who, but when. La Dame's DUI (and Mia's general messiness) have been the storyline this season. So a given. lol. But with the La Dame Grande, her Season 1 comment, continue to be true...people come for her all the time, they just don't find her. Meanwhile, the newbies continued to do great. It wouldn't be a Housewife show or a trip without some drama over room assignments. And Mia did try to be messy. But Stacey handled it like a boss. And Jassi has been bringing it still as a FOH. Meanwhile, both stay on Ashley's neck. lol. It was a great start to the cast trip. And then we had a cute little bombshell courtesy of a Mia ambush on La Dame having to do with a buttdial. My question is...if it ain't Ray...is it Blue Eyes? But...that's for next week. LA DAME. Why do they keep trying you? Lol. But seriously, the only person who I felt had the right to come at all for anything was Gizelle. And that I was happy to see Gizelle...though I did not like her method of doing it...do just that. I would like to hope that La Dame took it in and listened to Gizelle and what she said. Hopefully we will see once Gizelle comes back. In any case, this episode was La Dame maneuvering and maneuvering WELL. Highlight was her destroying Jacqueline. Sorry. While La Dame is in the wrong for the DUI, she chewed the Sidekick Jacqueline up and spit her out, leaving her a crying mess. Jac is playing with the big dogs, so she needs to move accordingly. Not cry, turn tail, and run. GIZELLE. Another good show for her. I really respect that she told Karen how she felt about the fundraiser, how she had been a good friend to her, did not like what she did. Going forward, at least, Gizelle was upfront about that. What I didn't like was that she did it in the group. I would think for this to be sincere, she did a one-on-one. With cameras of course. lol. And I liked her poking Mia a little bit with the living situation. I really feel without the Roommate anyone around, Gizelle is really having to navigate how she moves. And I feel she is doing it subtly, but she is definitely doing it. WENDY. ''I know you two have issues, but these next two days are really about me.' LOL!! Go on then, Birthday Girl!!! lol. And other than being a good enough friend to La Dame to not badmouth her and reactions, Wendy was just there. ASHLEY. It should say something that halfway through the episode (and after a lot of wine heehee), I forgot she was in the episode. And lord she tried. I hollered at Jassi and Keiarna ignoring her in the van as they were getting to know each other. And then...Stacey and Jassi were on her neck again in the boat ride. She really has nothing to give now, do she? MIA. It's funny really. She was there, but not there post her ride with La Dame. Of course, she did not need to be there since her representative Jacqueline was there to stir the pot. And I felt it was telling when La Dame was getting Jacqueline together, she gave very little assist. But that's fine. She made up for it with the ambush at the end. Meanwhile, she already trying to start a little mess with Stacey, too. I just wonder if it's because Stacey is a newbie, or is it to do divide-and-conquer on La Dame's allies. STACEY. 'Come to my planet. It's marvelous.' GO ON, BABY KENYA!!! lol. She continued to be a vibe this week. And how she reacted to the bunkbeds is how I react to stairs in houses...so I totally related. lol. If that was a trap set by Mia, Stacey rose about it with her reaction. We know I'm loving how she stays on Ashley's neck. That said...I did see her do some subtle shade twice this episode. I'm telling you. She's going to be a ninja. KEIARNA. I feel like she's done more, but I can't think of it outside of getting to know Jassi. Or was it her that set up the Battle to be Mia's Sidekick? Still enjoying. THE HONORABLE MENTIONS: MIA'S REPRESENTATIVE. JACQUELINE. Lord...she's trying. And failing everywhere, BUT UP. Everyone already poking her for being Mia's sidekick. Trying to stand out only to wind up rooming with Mia AGAIN. Battling with Jassi over being Mia's sidekick. Getting dragged by La Dame. Just...smh. After a strong intro several seasons ago...I can't believe how she's fallen. JASSI. Still going strong. lol. 'You're going to be sleep with Mia anyway.' 'The neck up. For sure.' She stayed being a quote queen. She owned what she said. And as always, stayed on Ashley's neck. A good start to the local cast trip. This show is so back.
  7. Loving these. And that picture of them opening the doors to the sets...just...WOW. A moment.
  8. I don't think she would either. Loves her directing if I'm not mistaken.
  9. And then there was three cuz I read that and went
  10. 10-29 Well...gotta get the good out of the way. It was nice to see Robert Adamson as Michael again. And I LIVED for Tracy/Ned vs Drew. Not that she doesn't all the time, but JE was playing cat that ate the canary to the hilt. And her reaction to Ned naming James as the person who heard was priceless. Drew has become so unsufferable, but he has ALWAYS been that when it comes to ELQ which I have always felt was Tracy and Ned's right as the OG Qs so I was living for them blackmailing him. And it says something about how Drew feels as a Q that he immediately gave himself up. You know what? The breakdowns of Cody and Sasha are actually giving. And I feel that's because the actors not the writing. I was worried that Sasha was adjusting better than Cody, until that coda at the end. Good. And even the flashback to what Cody said was well-done. Even watching it for real, I felt that scene resonated so well-done on JK who also did a good job with Drunk Cody. And the whole plot beat reached a new level of good when MAC walked into the station. I know what today means for me so seeing a father/son scene play out before me with an actor who I love who plays a great dad was going to make me go awww. And that sells the character of Cody more which is why we should always have our vets. It's a small thing...but I liked the follow-up on Lulu/Sam's surgery. Go, Isaiah. So in a way...Lucky helped. Now the bad... Drew couldn't even debate being blackmailed for an episode? I don't know whether to call him a POS...cuz he only did it to spite Ned/Tracy rather than to protect Michael...or a case of rushed writing. And speaking of the reveal to Michael...how...anticlimatic? I was at least hoping for it to happen at an election rally or something. And Dante proposing to Sam. Salt in wound much?
  11. 10-25 Well, that was not at all a boring week. lol. And that was good Friday cliffhanger-ness. I now am on the bandwagon that Jack and Diane are faking it. Or like was said above, that Diane is at least faking it. I was Traci, too, when Jack just upped and told Diane to get out of the house. And of all people to go to, Diane went to VICTOR??? Yeah, I am thinking set-up. And some of the desired effect, Kyle is slowly coming back into the fold with Jack. JG needs to make up his mind. Is Sharon really out of her mind or is she being drugged? He is still playing too fast and too loose with the storyline. And then Giggly Heffa is now on to her. Well...good if it brings this storyline to an end. SC is bringing it though, and I loved the clothes change for sure and her VOs to herself. And then the cliffhanger!! I loved seeing Danny and that he's taking care of Lucy. But Chance having to arrest Daniel. Ooooo Summer ain't going to like that. smh. But we know I like seeing him in the mix so YAY!
  12. 10-28 Well, now that I have a target date after all...lol. But it seems like this week is going to be a chore. And it's not helped by the fact everything coming into this week just seems sloppy to me. Friday's episode I said that there were some nuggets of good to it, but the way FV and these New/Old Writers do the episodes do not at all allow for those good nuggets of storytelling to even breathe. So it was just a mess. I can say the same for today. Except I didn't see ANY good nuggets to even mine. I know I've gone on record here and said how much I loathe seeing Whiny Anna. And I loved Anna got her power back under PM. So her running to Brennan (as always looking FOINE in his suit...without jacket at that. mmm) to BEG him to help her find Val. For Charlotte's sake. TO BEG??? HELL TO THE NO. Cuz the Anna I know would have at least asked. But from there, she would have found her own plan and got to moving with the quickness, kicking butt along the way. So thankfully, the end with her teaming up with Spinelli was in character. That writing between her and Brennan was so slanted it was not at all funny. I think I see the Heather good-bye scenes differently than most. But it could have been written better. She after all has to come back to play out the 'is she really cured' part of that whole arc. Otherwise, the arc is pointless. But of course, I would have preferred that arc under PM who at least would play the nuances of that silly storyline. As is, I would rather she stayed gone, too. The fact that the only thing on this episode I actually felt invested in was Sasha telling Cody they are cousins I just find telling. Because I've been meh about the story line since that coda of Sasha calling Holly Mother. They might be doing Holly dirty, but the writers do a good job of giving her a beginning, middle, and end to her arcs when she comes into town as of late. So...credit where credit is due. It just seems like a waste with Sasha/Cody given the build-up. Though the possibility of Cody going back to his shady roots...since GH is lacking in a scoundrel as of late...is intriguing enough. Getting drunk and punching Drew is a great start. And if Mac can be the one to pull him back in the end...I would be down.
  13. That be completely in the Whedon Playbook for sure. But I digress... Oh, yeah...dreading. Cuz this week and last week has already been picked apart. And goodness knows I've been playing catch-up and picking up on how sloppy it has all been.
  14. Like I just said online elsewhere and said in other threads, when an actor leaves a show, you get a STRONG idea about how the production felt about the actor by how their character exits. This honestly sounds like it will be a chore to get through given what today means to me. Kinda dreading it now.
  15. Hmmmm now that I've seen it...I can kinda see that. But you said oil and yes, I did think that show.
  16. Very. It's as noticeable now as how Sonny-Killed-Wagger has upped and vanished. Very as well. Yeah. I was actually shocked by it. I guess for me, it was because she was so central under PM. And even when these New/Old Writers started, Nina still was a bit of a focal point. But just like how people felt about Kristina/Molly/TJ and TJ getting the short end of the POV stick, I began to feel they were doing the same with Nina/Drew/Willow and Nina getting the short end of the POV stick once they (FINALLY) gave Drew a POV on it. Drew did not have one, but once they gave him one so the audience could decide where they fall on it all...and not a very good one, either sadly...Nina pretty much turned into a talk-to. And like I said earlier, too much story is going on with people Nina has cared about so it's now very noticeable how little she's been around or had agency in her own story. But again, it's been less about Drew/Nina and more about Willow/Drew. It feels like to me that the New/Old Writers are just finally getting rid of the last threads of PM's storylines. And that, of course, is only my opinion. Okay, I could see that.
  17. I am definitely looking forward to the episode count because I really feel she's only popped up at most 5. So much has been going on with people Nina was tied to and she really has been an afterthought to the point I have been shocked this month how little she has appeared.
  18. I've seen brief promos while binging soaps on my system, but nothing that stands out other than some of the camera angles being excellent. I guess I have not seen the trailer trailer though. Given the comparison you just made, I might check it out now. And I do like Demi.
  19. I believe Mike Manning is more @Soapsuds thing, than mine, but I guess I am curious to see what he has all been in to date.
