Season 3...good season...great arc. But XENA almost always had good arcs. Yeah...back when shows had senses of humor...but I didn't. lol.

Very. I have liked when the show references why a character is either not in the episode or even in town (like Kial or Carlton on a trip) but that was just so much a fail to me. And no amount of 'beach pretend' is going to make up for the wasted opportunity of St. Bart's...which they have been talking about forever on this show.

They're always cute. Oh, I know they are not over. Cuz Frank has to Frank even when the audience definitely does not like something. Same for the writers. I know I've mentioned how much I don't like Martin and Tracy and their slapsticky Spy vs Spy antics when both (especially JE) deserve better. It's like how Cody and Molly are written like kids rather than adults to me. It finally got to a point where I literally (please forgive me JE) cannot look at them in scenes together so I have them on MUTE when they are forcefully interacting on my screen. I have decided to do the same with Danny/Charlotte. When they did whole episodes having to explain the bloodline they already failed with me. And apparently a lot of the audience. The fact they know this and are going to push it anyway is another reason I have no desire to see it. Mind you, I like the actor and the actress, but I just can't suspend my disbelief. And yes, I'm from the South. ;) Also...Jake should be where Danny is in that so there's that, too. I have never not said that.

LMAO!!! But thank you. And then that little laying on the floor? I was just...ugh. So St. Barts (or a location shoot) is just out of the question. I'm going to need them to be more creative when it comes to things they need to explain on-screen like that going forward.

I think that's good. And I even see it on my system now when I am trying to catch up on recent episodes. Something about seeing 10 episodes together...seems right.

I mean...some of my favorite episodes of the show were Noxon. And while I loved Season 6's darkness, that was when I was watching it live/VHS-recorded as an author who loves horror/fantasy. I don't think (outside of reactions) I have sat down to watch it since, but I almost always had to defend that season from what I remember because I loved the darkness and them dealing with being adults. I only saw Season 7 once (since it was a bday dvd gift from my then-Russian boyfriend who know of my love of BUFFY and literally bought it while I was around without me even finding out) and I remember liking it then, BUT agree that it was a little too many elements. So much so that some plot threads got lost. In hindsight...I feel the season started well enough, but that middle was a mess and the last minute attempt to add Nathan Fillion as a henchman took away from some of the First's power which lied in manipulation over total brute force. That's what made AMENDS, the X-mas episode that introduced it, sure a fascinating episode. At least for me. How does one truly defeat ancient evil?

So I heard from Caroling. Can't wait to get to the episode. You know I be living for Liz/Ric. I also like Jason in Father mode. Something that has been real enjoyable since he returned under PM.

I can also agree with that. And yeah, I liked her with Nik, too. So Nik and Lucky fighting over her was some nice organic teen drama that also played with the greater Cassindine vs Spencer storyline. See? You and @Antoyne always give me the good tea when it comes to Liz. Thank you.

You are welcome. There's always plenty going on here. Whether it is story on screen, discussion on where the stories are going, or even some shade and/or camp. We even got shirtless hotties. ;) Sorry to hear that for the DAYS thread though. From what I remember she wasn't. I want to say SOD called her bland...which okay she was, but lol. She came first. They expanded the family by introducing Liz. And Liz became the popular one lol. I can't even remember if Jennifer made it a year. But I could see with the expanding of AT's Emily though that Sarah would be redundant. Speaking of relevant...I just saw her have a scene with Lucas (which is a sign I'm working my way through March's episodes) and it just seem so odd to me. When Ryan was Lucas, didn't Liz/Lucas have a lot of scenes together? It's just smh that the major of family scenes for Lucas have been with either Ava (who okay needed it) and Carly (who I really don't think had too many scenes with Lucas pre-VH).

I too thought we all came to the collective agreement that Bill's mansion looked like that because Hayley's taste was seriously lacking and tacky. Thank you! I finally watched last Wednesday and I do feel a way about the fact that Bill and Hayley finally went to St. Bart's OFF-SCREEN. This whole story to me felt like it would climax there...preferably as a location shoot of some sort. So seeing them just roll on in at the start of the episode made me feel a way. Since I also wanted Andre/Dani there for that, I am starting to feel that there have been some story beat changes rather than last year, where stories did vanish, but always cycled back around. It honestly feels like a story change. And if it's downgraded story, I hope it's not because they are saving money for the Cotillion...which I am looking forward to mind, you. They did the same thing with the anniversary party last year. And that worked because they were still building other stories and knew how to maneuver. It is not feeling that way this year if that is the case.

Now don't you start? I'm still stuck on Season 4 of XENA. lol. At this point, I would have to restart the season. But exactly while I've been in the mood for WB/CW teen shows (and now I have CW 90210 on the brain lately) and THE 4400 back when USA think was summer sci-fi shows with it and THE DEAD ZONE...or as I liked to call it Anthony Michael Hall aging like fine wine.

See? TASTE!! :) I know she was green and I even liked how she and Nikolas and Lucky and how that organically happened as a teen. And once Liz started to take off, they tried to have Sarah act like a bad girl and it failed, but I really liked her and was sad they wrote her out. Someday, I also would like to watch it with adult eyes and see if I feel the same. If the writing still holds up for me. It makes me think of the teen story of Billy and Mac on Y&R. One of my firsts. And I can tell you I have rewatched the prom scene with them (with the original music sidenote cuz I fell for them for sure when I heard the Corrs's song 'Closer' which they used over Mac's prom entrance scene) and that holds up as an adult...me eyes watered and all. A time. lol. Sorry for the Y&R sidestory. Oh well good. hehe. Not Chase shirtless (thank you for the tip ;) ) while BLQ is an Eskimo again. smh.

I did! That was back before anyone knew Tyler Perry and he was just starting out. Outside of clips of Tika Sumpter and that one woman and the gay couple on THE HAVES AND HAVE-NOTS, I have actually avoided a lot of his stuff. But people do who think pieces online and I've seen some stuff over the years (especially when EMPIRE was airing) that I at least have a working idea of him to know why someone would make that comment. I just hope I haven't offended you in any way cuz you know I love hearing your opinion. But no worries I will not hush. OR...go on to Little Dru...cuz so far (I'm behind right now) I've enjoyed everything Deanna. Totally worth the wait. And I want more!
