I miss the days when soaps had a budget to do fancy parties. Even thought 86 was wonky in quality. This is a good episode. Aside from the chem testing between Billy and Roxie. The look on Alex's face when she saw Alan was soapy goodness.

Cynthia Gibb appeared in one of the summer of 83 episodes i saw. Terri Eoff came on right before Christmas of 83. So i'm guessing Elizabeth Swackhamer was on maybe 3-4 months.

I liked her on the shortlived series The Middleman. I had no idea she was on the GL writing team in the mid 80's. As well as playing a role during the same time. RIP

S4 of 13 Reason Why is awful. But i'm digging their soundtrack.

We Hispanics have some Native American ancestry. So removing Miguel is weird. I would understand it better it it was a white character costumed as a Native American.

I also liked Denise. But like many posters have point out the writing was rough. To put it nicely. Ben was beyond BLAND. I liked Camille better with a roguish original recipe Brad. I enjoyed Camille and Brad's short lived interracial affair. The writing may have been #$@&%*! But Cassandra Creech had a real spark to her. Denise would've gone far with solid proper writing. I so wanted Denise and Andy to be a couple. But the writers had Denise love bland Big Ben. And poor sweet Andy had to be a loser in love.
