Loving it. So watching Mama's Family on Christmas night. Miss that show not being on a TV channel somewhere.

DAYS: Behind the Scenes, Articles/Photos
Love seeing all the photos and the cast together. Tearing up at some of them. Love my show and it's cast So great seeing Philece Sampler (LOVE that video), Frank Parker ... everyone. The two Theo's together, the two Brady's together, the two Shawn's, the two Ciara's ... lol Also loved the 1990 episodes posted above. "Wasted" my day today watching most of them. So easy to jump right in and I was LOLing at how most of the cast is still on the show now. Seeing the lighting and the sets and the wardrobe ... sigh. The show looks a lot better but damn. And the Penthouse set. I miss it so much.

Love the Christmas programming block they plan on doing. Looking forward to the full schedule as well now that I finally pick up ME-TV along with the others. Have to say I really like LAFF, but mostly because they air Empty Nest. I've never really seen a ton of Empty Nest and I love the show now.

Yep. No need for Candace or Paula. W(hy)TF was Nicolle not kept? Ugh. And it is snoozeworthy without Joy. And Whoopi looks even more checked out than ever before. I mean, I lol'd Monday at how she didn't really seem to give two shits about Candace. I bet the Nicolle thing pissed her off and I think she looks disappointed Joy isn't there, LOL. Joy's back Friday, I think. Just one day, but Candace is probably not there. Or Paula.

Yeah, I wish they'd gone with Stacy London. She fits in better.

Well, the show is getting what it wants: buzz and people talking about it. I think Michelle quickly let the job go to her head. I like Paula and that she offers a different perspective, and I'd rather her Christian viewpoint than Candace, but everytime I see Paula I go ... really, Nicolle couldn't have filled that spot? I mean ... come on. Joy being back is a plus. I was ready for her to go when she did but she brings a familiarity back to the show, that it needed. Raven's not awful but she's been a little more quiet so far this season, IMO. She seems a tad out of place but I like her and I think they want her perspective (millenial, gay woman) on the panel and it should be. She can create the buzz when needed and has a long built fanbase.

Still not sure why they bothered hiring Candace. Paula is nice enough but Nicolle could have easily been in her spot. Michelle tries too hard. Raven looked more comfortable with Nicolle and Rosie Perez. I don't mind her spot. She more or less took Sherri's spot. And LOL Khan. I agree about Sherri.

Yesss ... welcome back Joy! I'm glad they backed up the Brinks truck and unloaded the cash for her. I'm surprised they'll have six co-hosts at the table, but Paula and Candice will be MIA at times, Paula won't be working Friday's. I don't think Paula was needed. I wish they hadn't fired Nicolle. Ugh. I'd rather have her. LOL at all the contributors. Ana is an interesting choice. I like Stacy. Padma and Molly are meh, kinda boring and basically fill-ins. And what the hell is Sherri going to contribute? At least she can generate buzz for the show, I guess. Basically they're keeping a bunch of women around to be the fill-ins. The show needs consistency so it's not a terrible group ...

Fuller House
Eva La Rue was on Home and Family on Hallmark this morning and they showed a photo of John, Lori, Bob and Dave in front of the kitchen from Full House so it looks like they rebuilt the set.

They sure did. Her firing pisses me off. I really enjoy/ed her on the show. I may just skip out next season. I like Michelle and Raven and Candace can probably rile something up every now and then but they got rid of one of the best Republicans they've had. She's been virtually embraced and they fire her because she doesn't do the social media thing and doesn't generate buzz. GMAFB. It's not like Julie, Sharon, Aisha, Sheryl and Sara are all that interesting or buzzworthy (well, Queen Sharon is, but she's too good for The Talk, IMO) If they want Candace to be their Elisabeth then they should have just kept Elisabeth. I mean, don't get me wrong the panel needed a shakeup and frankly I'm now ready for Whoopi to even go. I like Paula Faris but fail to see how she'll bring much to the table. Sorry Paula. And then they have these "contributors" like Stacy London (who should have been hired over Paula Faris, if that rumor is even true) and now Sherri Shepherd. And what the hell does Molly Sims contribute? Ugh. They want annoying and loud hosts who get people talking about the show. I get it. The show lacks buzz now but how is having "contributors" any different than just guests hosts? They have no idea what they're doing with this show and it shows. And the set looks like [!@#$%^&*], TBH.

DEAD Love you LOL cassadine ... keep it in the pants They look nice enough. Not hot but not ugly either. LOL we're such a shallow bunch. They're cute and I like that they've been brought back. I think I saw one of them is a firefighter, and the other has done work behind the scenes and stayed in the industry that way. Good for them. They seem normal.

Wow, surprised the twins are back as Nicky and Alex. Nice! And another wow at Eva La Rue. Did NOT expect that at all.

Fuller House
Yessss Mathewson. Completely agreed. Well, I like Hartley and don't find him skeevy at all. But with the other actors? Totally. I don't mind Brooks either but I can see why some don't like him. Martsolf strikes me as someone who should have just gotten himself into softcore porn. Honestly.

How many episodes will Stamos be in? I justfeel like he's someone who's "LOOK AT ME!!!" and he just bugs me. His sitcom on FOX looks slightly funny, although it's simply Jesse interacting with Michelle all over again. Just Stamos labled as a grandfather. I'm glad they included Steve. I'm also hoping they utilize Dave Coulier regularly. Bob Saget doesn't seem interested in anything regular but who knows. I think having DJ, Stephanie and Kimmy together basically writes itself though. True. He comes off very skeevy. I'd imagine him all lewd and touchy-feely towards people. Just a vibe he gives me LOL

Are those the doors from the original show? They look the same to me but I admit to not watching Full House in quite a while. Sigh. I know John Stamos, to many, is sexy as hell, but I slightly cringed seeing him in the jacket. Yeah. No. Maybe sometimes we SHOULDN'T go back.

Michelle Collins will be an official co-host. It's official without being official. Not sure when they'll make the announcement. Michelle and Raven bring a younger, fresher perspective. I hope they keep Nicolle though. I'd be really sorry to see her go if she does. I wish they'd pick a permanent fifth co-host but that doesn't seem likely. I'm OK if they keep using the same fill-ins, Joy, Stacy London, Molly Simms (she's OK, not my favorite), Candace Cameron-Bure, etc.

OMG. How did I miss that awesomeness. I remember that talk, too. Sigh. But LMAO. I love Nicolle Wallace. She's grown considerably and I'd be bummed to see her go. This show badly needs consistency. I'm slightly OK with a rotating fifth co-host as long as Nicolle stays on and they hire Collins. I'd rather they just offer Behar or London the fifth spot but they can't seem to make a decision. I see they stopped wheeling out Barbara for ratings.

I can't decide if Rosie P. will be back. I like her, a lot, and she's warmed up to being there, but I still want someone else in her spot. I think they want a comedian, like Joy/Michelle/Cristela to fill the other spot, which they need, but then they could put someone in Rosie's spot. I'm torn on who I want, actually. LOL. Rosie could decide to leave on her own, but she seems pretty comfortable now. She bonded with Raven. I'm sure Rosie is good like that but why unless you are going to be with that person next season? I think Rosie isn't a problem and they need to fill the fifth spot. Pick Michelle Collins or Cristela and have Joy fill in. I'm torn on Michelle and Cristela so I say they just go with Joy, if she wants to do it again full-time, and she might not.

I agree about Stacy London. I think she'd be a great fit. I want Joy back too. But it's OFFICIAL: Raven Symone is now a View co-host. It was announced on the show this morning.

So Joy was on AGAIN. Can they just bring her back and hire Raven and call it a day? I'm not feeling Molly Simms. Eh.
-
The View
I agree too. You can see a big difference in Nicolle and Rosie Perez. Rosie Perez especially. But it also has to be nerve-wracking to go in front of a live audience and talk. That also probably had a lot to do with it. Pressure to succeed is also a big factor. And I'm sure the Rosie O drama didn't help one bit. I feel like Rosie Perez was almost caught between Rosie O and Whoopi and was just uncomfortable with it all. But yeah, the Joy, Whoopi, Nicolle, Raven and Rosie panel was great. BRING JOY BACK! I also noticed Raven drop "now that I'm doing this show" ... along with Raven and Rosie bonding outside of the show ... maybe I'm reading too much into it. And Joy doesn't need to be there *every* day. Give her the Barbara treatment and have a guest fill in on like Fridays and Wednesdays or something like that. Or they could even get away with just Raven, Rosie, Whoopi and Nicolle when Joy wouldn't be there.

I actually enjoyed seeing Sherri again. Who'da thunk it? LOL I like Whoopi. She does let others get their opinions across but when she shuts someone up, I often agree with her. I don't see her as the problem at all. She's still a huge draw for The View. She's a problem because she does what she wants, I can see producers hating that, but they aren't going to dump her. She'd leave on her on. And honestly she's never been shy about saying she's there for the paycheck but she also does seem to genuinely like that she can do what she does on the show and supports the idea of women having a conversation. She also quickly comes to it's defense. They need to find a viable replacement though because she's not going to do this forever. She's already been on the show 8/9 years at this point.

Passions Discussion Thread
I loved all of the sets in the shows early run. They all really seemed to fit. Sheridan's cottage, the Crane mansion (before it's horrid makeovers), the Russell house, the Lopez-Fitz house, the Book Cafe, the Lobster Shack ... sigh. I still miss the potential that was Passions in it's very beginning years. I hate how it got so beyond camp.

The problem with Joey is that characters like him become a walking joke. It reminds me of so many characters, like Eric on Boy/Girl Meets World, Chrissy on Three's Company ... among others. Comic relief that gets taken to an extreme and you question how they can even function in life itself. Well, Joey was never as bad as Chrissy and Eric, but still ... It's why Eric's return in GMW didn't thrill me. I don't want to question how a comic relief character can even function in life.
