  1. John Brotherton's great. I'd like to see him get more recognition. It's been nice to see him do comedy on Fuller House. I'd hate to lose him but it just seems inevitable that DJ/Steve are endgame.
  2. I feel like I have SO many lol. I'll have to do some thinking. It's one of the reasons I don't try and attach myself to any new show until I know it has a future. Anyone remember the FOX soap Get Real with pre-fame Jesse Eisenberg and Anne Hathaway, pre-NCIS Eric Christian Olsen, Debrah Farentino and Jon Tenney? SUCH a good cast. Wonder if anyone at Fox looks back on that and remembers they once had Eisenberg and Hathaway?
  3. I saw that! Super excited for "Cool Kids". GREAT cast.
  4. Nice to see a date I hope they wrap up the Matt/Steve/DJ triangle. They can still play it up if they paired Steve and DJ. Matt and DJ would still work together and it could lead to awkward situations. Or they can drop Brotherton. I like him but I don't think they need to drag the triangle out anymore, although I'm sure they will. We all know Steve and DJ are endgame and I think they're being wasted in this triangle at this point. Opens up different storylines re-pairing them.
  5. I was excited until I saw it was just one more episode bringing it to 9, lol. They can't do an even 10?
  6. Well, yeah, but I feel like it's different this go around.
  7. I was wondering about Estelle Parsons too. Agreed on the perfect casting for Darlene's daughter. I thought the same. They did an excellent job it seems. Loved all of those photos.
  8. Last week was a good episode. Mullally and Hayes have really been the MVPs in this revival. Sad to lose Rosario but the actress has retired, I'm glad they dealt with it instead of having her be off-screen. Also enjoyed seeing Minnie Driver as Lorraine again.

    +1 They sure did
  10. It was so bad! Lol
  11. They couldn't give them more than 15 seconds for an opening? Lawd. I like the nod to the original opening but they needed at least 20-30 seconds.
  12. Eric definitely seems to be, I guess, enjoying the role more? I can also agree certain things, while still funny, are kind of falling a bit flat, the overly absurd doesn't work anymore. @YRBB thanks for the reminder of Karen tossing the paper towels and saying "heads up, Puerto Rico" lol, I died too. The kiss-off was definitely hot. I loved two openly gay actors playing the camp counselors lol. I like Andrew Rannells too, he deserves something of his own. Lucky McCormack getting both Rannells and Ben Platt ...
  13. It seems odd to dislike the title characters, LOL. But Will and Grace aren't always rootable (they can be obnoxious, selfish, annoying), and that's OK. Lead characters are messy. The supporting characters are usually the "fun" ones. I enjoy all four for different reasons. But I have to say this new season has been GREAT for Sean Hayes. Sean and Megan are just fantastic. I like Eric and Debra too but it feels like Karen and Jack are getting better focus. This season has been a massive step up from the ridiculous cartoon featuring the a list guest star of the week that was the last few seasons of the show.
  14. I enjoyed this week's episode. Loved seeing Elliot again and the kid playing his son Skip was really good. Good find. I was LMAO at Camp Straighten Arrow with Jane Lynch and Andrew Rannells playing counselors. Karen and Grace and their vaginas was OK but clearly a filler/side story.
  15. Yep. It's likely ratings won't really matter. I guess unless they sink to really really low. Here's a good link about this: http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/renewcancel/cancel-bear-vs-the-cw-week-3-dynastys-slow-start-wont-matter/
  16. So cool to see the set again. Everyone looks good.
  17. Perry was pretty solid. I didn't love the Dylan alcoholic storyline in Season 5 (with characters tip toeing around him, refusing to call his ass out and berate him when he was verbally nasty towards them) but Perry acted the hell out of it. His performance after what happened to Toni also gutted me. Personally I think he's very underrated. He turned in some good work. I always felt he was a bit checked out when he came back to the show but he's still good.
  18. On Linda (no storyline spoilers) ... I'm also reminded of how this season isn't my favorite. Lots of mundane storylines and not very interesting things going on. Paige/Sumner was what kept me the most interested at this point. Danny losing his shine also helped. I'm just cringing at the Harold/Olivia stuff. lol
  19. I can agree with all of this. The above is why I thought Hurley is perfect but I can see why she wouldn't necessarily do it. Melinda Clarke could potentially work. +1 I watched bits and pieces of it. I was having an issue with my DVR so I skipped around. I didn't hate it, I didn't LOVE it, it's fine for what it is I guess. I don't love they killed Matthew and we lost the Revenge hunk in the first episode. I don't necessarily love they have Claudia as batshit crazy but I lol'd at how campy it was storming out of the car as everyone gathered out front after the wedding and screamed about them killing her husband. Curious to see if Claudia is also not long for the show. I think they may be missing out if they discard Claudia the way Matthew was discarded. Especially considering the two actors playing them are fairly strong for a CW show. I like the actress playing Fallon. There's potential there. I'm mixed on the actress playing Cristal and Cristal in general. I don't really hate her but can't really see myself rooting for her so to speak, at least right now. I think they can do better there. (And LMAO at the music used as Cristal pranced down the aisle) I have no problems with making Sammy Jo a latino male and gay. The actor playing Steven isn't terrible but Steven is kind of boring and blah. I think there should be a bit more there, and I guess it could come over time. I don't expect or want a flaming stereotype, I sort of relate more to the less flamboyant depiction, but they don't have to make him so vanilla, lol. I also don't mind them making Jeff and Monica black. I appreciate diversity but I think they cast someone pretty yet lacking in the Monica actress. I don't think the actor playing Jeff and the actress playing Fallon had any chemistry. Fallon had far more chemistry with Michael the driver (again, kudos for the diversity on the show). I liked the nods to the original. I get it's not for everyone and it seems a tad generic but it definitely fits the CW soap mold. Glossy with little substance. We'll see how it goes. I'll keep watching for now. I haven't bothered with Riverdale yet but I might give it a shot.
  20. I was never a fan of Leo. I never liked Connick either until just in the last few years. I didn't mind the Leo/Grace stuff. I think it probably needed to be dealt with. I loved they used Nurse Sheila again, LOL. I love her. Will was sort of absent until Grace had her meltdown with him. It was a good episode for Jack and Karen too. Jack "teaching" kids and Karen befriending the girl was nice stuff for them and right in character.
  21. +1 I hated her early on but man ... the turn she takes lol
  22. I think Elizabeth Hurley could work as Alexis but I agree that Alexis will forever be Joan's.
