  1. SCOTT BRYCE will also be participating today!
  2. I hope so too!! I need to check out the Y&R history(?) thread I have a lot of videos to catch up on
  3. I so appreciate them going further back than the last year or two (I'm looking at you GH & B&B, but then folks would know how much better both used to actually be, not that Y&R is really any better than the rest but they're doing it right with the reruns)
  4. That would be my hope. I think Martha suggested/thought Liz would do it after she saw how it worked for the first one so 🤞 (unless I misunderstood Martha, it was often hard to hear them talk at times) I always had a bit more attachment to GL than ATWT but I was so much more emotional seeing the ATWT people reunite. But GL's was SO entertaining. I miss them both so much.
  5. True. He probably won't but who knows? This fall it's been 10 years since the World stopped turning.
  6. Don Hastings still speaks to/sees him so who knows? If Hastings can do it ... we need Liz Hubbard and Larry and Eileen.
  7. LOL even Liz's daughter knew Sherry was the better Blake 💀 She was the one I was the MOST excited to hear was participating in this. Adore her. Aww, they're talking about Betty Rea casting all of them. Pam Long didn't want Zimmer. LOL. I never knew that.
  8. I can't believe that either! So many of these great actors are just sitting at home. I know they have other interests, jobs, do other things, so they're not sitting there waiting for the phone to call but ugh. So many talented soap vets not being used hurts my heart. Nice seeing Jill Lorie Hurst, Mimi Torchin and others in the chat Stephanie Gatschet and Crystal Chappell are also in the chat LOL at Kim "time traveling through Crystal's boobs" and Maureen bringing up the children kidnapping storyline. OMG I'm dying. MORE OF THIS!!! Kim brought up Blake's twins. LMAO. Jerry brought up Jane Elliot/Carrie God this is so needed and so great. Aww, Marj Dusay. I liked Kim mentioned filling Bev's shoes and how the character was different.
  9. And she has a cocktail 1,000+ watching
  10. Maureen looks amazing. She has not aged. My heart is so full right now. Kim's daughter is a front line nurse and had to be tested and they're waiting for the results. It's really ... something ... how we truly are in this pandemic together.
  11. Same feelings I have. I'm happy for the cast that the show has been a success and I really enjoy it.
  12. I'm meh on Terri Conn. lol. But I'm thrilled to see Colleen and even Ellen Dolan at this point. Trent Dawson should be fun I guess. I'd rather have Martha again and Liz Hubbard. But maybe they'll do another one.
  13. Yeah I just saw they added him, but I guess Soapsuds beat me to it. Jerry will be there!
  14. Jerry ver Dorn has now been added to the guest list
  15. I was so excited to her listed! That would be great! Especially since Maureen and Liz will be on
  16. 👏 Well said That ... sad person was looking for a reaction and I suppose we gave it to her. So ... anywho ... Don was great.
  17. They all looked so great. Don had a great memory. Not sure why the troll is trying to be an ass. I don't remember everyone I worked with either and he's lived a damn 90 some years. I thought he was wonderful.
  18. LOL!!! I couldn't tell who they were talking about running around in their underwear, it sounded like "Ben" to me, but I need to rewatch it. And yeah it was emotional for me. I didn't think I needed that and I did.
  19. Alan Locher's YouTube channel just put up that a GUIDING LIGHT chat will take place on April 8th at 3:00PM (the show's former timeslot). Kim Zimmer, Robert Newman, MAUREEN GARRETT and Liz Keifer (eh) will be on hand. I think Don Hastings was a surprise for the ATWT one so hopefully we get a surprise guest. I'm so excited to see Maureen Garrett and Robert Newman.
  20. Saw a notification for an upcoming chat!!! GUIDING LIGHT up next on Alan Locher's YouTube channel. April 8th at 3:00PM. I just love they're doing it in the shows' former timeslots. I mean, nothing against Liz and Kim but lol, I'm more interested in hearing from the other two and seeing them. Kim should be a trip though. @DRW50
  21. Don't feed the troll buddy. I mean, *I* have memory gaps and I'm nowhere near Don's age. He was wonderful and sharp. She can shut up.
  22. Ohh, Ok. Glad you saw it. I agree I'd love to see more of this kind of thing. We have the technology and over 500 people were watching (with little advertising, imagine the audience if it were more highly promoted). Alan Locher mentioned GL and another for ATWT (possibly with Liz Hubbard)
  23. No lies here. LOL. I always found it interesting they seemed to often have soap stars on Home&Family and use them in movies ...
  24. YES on Hallmark Channel. I thought the same. Especially since they once had The Doctors and did nothing with it. Maura was fabulous Exactly. And to be quite blunt, Scott Holmes is the least interesting and memorable Scott actor to be on the show. Scott Holroyd, DeFreitas, Bryce ... love that Maura immediately thought of Holroyd. The replay is still available on Alan Locher's youtube channel if you haven't checked it out.
