  1. Hilarious take off of Y&R with the redneck woman having a Victor Newman tattoo. The Y&R theme is heard a couple of times. The trailer park woman who shows up at the end kills me.
  2. It pops up in places every so often. You can Google to find out more info.
  3. It's a ripoff product from Coca Cola that's similar to Dr. Pepper. Some restaurants and drink fountains carry it instead of Dr. Pepper. That cartoon American Dad has and obsession with it. He and his wife went on a factory tour in one episode. The guy tells them they are closing it down and they freak out and set out to save it.
  4. John Beck for Mr. Pibb in the third ad. Circa 1972
  5. Rita McLaughlin (Carol) in a Prell commercial circa 1968.
  6. I was shocked to see how many times Catherine Hickland has been married. All of her husbands have been celebs, except maybe the first one. I didn't realize Kelley Preston had been fired from the series. How long was Shea Farrell on the show ? He couldn't have lasted long since Hotel started in 1983. I only got to see the soaps during the summer or out of school for some reason back then. I never realized he was even on the show.
  7. Wasn't it C. David Colson version that played married to Natalie ? Peter Gallman I think was playing Tom when he first married Carol. PG has a youtube page and said he hoped to find footage of his ATWT days.
  8. Why did they replace Tom Tammi with Justin Deas ?
  9. I never liked Scott Holmes as Tom or Ellen Dolan as Margo. They were boring and annoying. My Favorite Tom & Margo was HBS and GM.
  10. I figured they do. I say there has been a lot of stuff that has been copied before they cracked down on it.
  11. It's Warren Berlinger. He has a whole list of credits for decades, mostly comedy. He is the nephew of Milton Berle.
  12. I wish there was some way we could see that 1979 episode. Anyone willing to to sneak in and make a bootleg ?
  13. Back in the 90's there was a trend for infomercials and Psychic reading ripoffs. The 80's trend was getting fit with Jazzercize, aerobics etc...
  14. Even Vicki Lawrence degraded herself.
  15. I guess after Divorce Court, Superior Court, $ 25,000 Pyramid, Super Password etc....was cancelled by this time, they needed another outlet for some quick cash by appearing in these scam infomercials. Kate Linder doesn't surprise me, she will appear in anything for money (kind of like Florence Henderson).
  16. LOL.......I look forward to your interesting posts and hilarious snarky comments. Don't ever change.
  17. I wish episodes of A New Day In Eden and Loving Freinds and Perfect Couples would surface. You know somebody had to be running a VCR for that back then.
  18. 1979 GL bumpers and Search For Tomorrow promo at 13:29
  19. Thanks for the clips. The Hotel promo features James Brolin and Mrs. Brolin #2 Jan Smithers. The Fall Guy promo reminds me that Doug Barr and Heather Thomas would have been great on one of the prime time soaps after FG ended. Shea Farrell from Hotel might have made a good replacement for Al Corley as Steven. Tom Schanley who later appeared in the short term role of Josh on Dynasty could have played Steven as well.
  20. Steve Kanaly was not even 40 when that interview was done and he looks so much older.
  21. Gordon Thomson always had an ivy league educated way of speaking. Like David O'Brien on The Doctors. In the interview it seems like he is becoming a recluse, but still speaks/is friends with his Dynasty co-stars. It also seems he has developed a friendship with Al Corley who he didn't get a chance to work with on the show. He mentions him in the interview and there are several photos of them at events together. I have also seen Al & Jack Coleman together in several photos.
