Bo wouldn't know Claire was in South Africa, but Olivia Rose Keegan joined the show before Bo died so he would know she was SORAS'd at least.

Agreed. Max Gail did a great job with his material although the story went on too long. I know Ron Hale retired, but the relationship was never the same for me after he left. I can't really pinpoint why it felt different to me.

Agreed. The whole Sonny sees Mike in Heaven was a time waster. The shootout was so silly. And honestly, no viewer is concerned Sonny will die. The rest of the show wasn't bad. Obviously, I could do without the Special Agent Joss thing, but that wasn't a huge part of today.

I tried to give Rachel Boyd a chance. I really liked Sophia/Madelyn. NuSophia is horrible. Perhaps she'll grow into the role, but any fire or spark Sophia had is gone. This version of Sophia seems so meek and timid. Her and Leo Howard have no chemistry either. I think if Javi is intended to be long term the show needs to give him interests, friends, and integrate him into the canvas. Javi certainly appears to hate being Gabi's assistant and he seems to like cooking so that would be an option for him. I don't know why Chanel has no friends lol. It would be very easy for her to be friends with Gabi or Cat. They all lived in the Dimera mansion together I believe.

Maggie was a thought for me too. That would be fine. I could still see Doug3 or Cat suddenly being passionate about cooking and trying to start a restaurant. It's also seems that Javi is a good cook and it would be cool to have a Latin or Mexican restaurant in Salem. I guess that doesn't leave an option for a fine dining one though with set space lol. If Javi showed some interest in anything other than Leo that would go a long way for me.

I actually was wondering that too. I don't think Ava was anything more than the manager when she left. I guess Vivian could just hire someone? I wouldn't even be that mad if 18 year old Sophia took it over. She's been their most consistent employee lol. It honestly wouldn't bother me if someone like Julie took it over either.

I think you are correct. If NuSophia was a stronger actress and Amy was less of caricature it might have been interesting to see what happened if Sophia defied her. Watching Sophia make the adoption choice then seeing her struggle with college, finding a place to live, and working as a very young adult. Sophia has a job so she must have some money of her own.

Probably. It was an unnecessary thing to add lol. Johnny, Chanel, Tate, and Sophia could have simply waited it out. I suppose that would mean Sophia would have no parental support or means for college so that's understandable. Although I am sure Brady, Tate, Paulina, Johnny, Chanel all would have been willing to help her. It's not that important and it doesn't take me out of the story. It just made me think all this hand wringing over the adoption was easily solvable.

So today it was stated Sophia's 18th birthday is on prom. I would assume that's in a few weeks. I am not sure how far along she is, but if she's 18 when the baby is born why does she need Amy's permission for this adoption at all?

Lol! I agree with you. I just know this isn't a new thing for MB. IIRC, he even cops to it-sort of. Idk if it's in his book or an interview I saw, but it's to make sure he says a specific word or phrase he's unfamiliar with correctly. It's more for accuracy not because he forgot his lines.* *I am not saying I believe this statement because he forgets normal words and sentences. I am just relaying the info😂

I don't get where they are going with the entire Gio story. It honestly doesn't seem like the show is heading for anything romantic with Brook/Dante and with Chase knowing the truth it doesn't appear like Brook Lyn and Chase will break up. I have a feeling Lulu and Lois will get most of the fallout. I am sure Dante will be upset for a minute and then understand it was the right decision. Gio might be sad because his parents died when he was young, and he didn't know he was adopted. That's not Brook Lyn or Dante's fault. That's why I believe most of this will be put on Lois. I don't actually know what Lois was supposed to do once Gio's parents died since Brook Lynn just became interested about her baby about a year ago lol. Sorry, I was misremembering your ideas. I agree the Tracy, Mac, kids, era was the best Cody era. It's fine if the show only wants to use Cody as a talk to or with Mac and family. Josh Kelly gets way too much airtime to do just that and it's a waste of his talents. I know Frank never fires anyone but if there isn't an idea for Cody than just let JK go and call him back when you figure it out. There are way too many characters on this show for me to have to watch half an episode of Cody babysitting Donna lol.

He's had things written on his hands for years now. It's not always obvious, but I remember people pointing it out back when Vanessa returned in 2010 maybe even before. It's clear he's had difficulty remember his lines for almost 2 decades. The handwriting on his hand is just a thing MB does-and his lines are still fumbled lol. I will say I almost don't blame him here because eminent domain is a fairly uncommon term for a soap actor to say.

I think that's a good way to describe the two different portrayals. I think it works though? When Camilla left Gabi ended up in jail for months, her husband cheated on her, and her entire life fell apart. It makes sense Gabi would be more jaded, guarded, and less fiery than she was before that. I think DF and MM have really good chemistry. It doesn't make sense for the character of Belle. I think Belle can sort of deluded herself that Sami forgave EJ so it's okay for her to. I mean, she shouldn't be dating her sister's ex-husband/baby daddy in the first place-rapist or not lol.

Yes. I don't want to even start the re-hire Haley Pullos convo, but there was a more quirky, unique take on the character and the writing when she was a child. She was obnoxious and obsessed with romance and fairytales and frankly just a bit odd. I do think KV really does a good job with Molly as currently written, but all the personality is gone. Being type A, organized, and following the law isn't really anything special. It's more of a generic rom com character that will find the right man to loosen her up nonsense we've seen 1000 times before.

So, I almost got vibes last week that there could be a BLQ/Cody pairing. Since Chase basically knows everything about the adoption I doubt those two will break up and I certainly don't wish the Amanda Setton modesty rules to fall on Josh Kelly. So I guess Molly it is.

Again, 100% agree with you about Tracy/Cody. The show would never go there, but one can dream. I think it would be great! I think Molly was just the simplest choice. I am not sure anyone has ever given Cody that much thought. It was so strange they made Sasha/Cody cousins after almost a year of trying to make that pairing happen.

Oh, I agree that he's better than Josh Swickard and Donnell Turner. I still find Chase likeable though. I know @Vee and others have mentioned making Cody more of a playboy and cad and I do think that could work. I was interested in seeing if Cody/Lulu might pan out. Unfortunately, I get Josh Kelly confused with the other guy from OLTL that was dating Lulu before she went into her coma so that doesn't bode well for my interest level. I just think Molly is such a basic choice for Cody. There is really no conflict there except the fact that Molly oddly doesn't care about her life partner she was with for a decade and never talks about TJ lol.

I thought yesterday's episode was really good. A lot actually happened. I rarely think about Cody at all, but they really need to figure out what to do with Josh Kelly or let him go. His main purpose is to hang out with adorable child actors these days. The show seems to tease Cody with multiple women (and obviously it's Molly currently) and then it goes nowhere. Anyhow, I laughed when Portia and Nina were stunned by the sex worker asking for $6000. That doesn't seem like that much for what they are making her do? Lol Drew paying someone off to stop Willow from seeing Michael was predictable. Willow just accepting it and not pushing harder was so weak. She flew all the way to Germany and is going to shrug her shoulders and turn around and leave. I don't understand why Carly and Brick were talking so loudly about the super-secret surgery Sonny had. Maybe actually act like you are looking at hospitals for Michael like you said instead of publicly going on and on about something that you are trying to keep low key. I do wonder if Natalia was originally supposed to come with Sonny and the show just gave up on that lol. I am a believer that what Diane did was intentional. She wrote Davis on the envelope, not Corinthos, so Molly would find it and look at it.

I would be shocked if GG was really out. You would think Rafe would have just left with Sami last week if he was truly gone. I wonder if Black Patch will even stay in business. It was a nice way to give John/Steve something to do, but how does it even turn a profit? Who's in charge with John gone and Steve looking for him? Rafe? He has been moping around about Jada. It doesn't appear he's working. Have they ever even solved a case that moved a plot forever lol? I'd probably close it after John's death, give Steve some vague job with the ISA, and Rafe can leave lol. The only reason to keep it going is if Paul comes back.

I HATE Diane. Hate everything about her. Still I think she believes Kristina does need help and Alexis and Sonny are too blind to see that. I think it's a very roundabout way for Diane to try to solve the Kristina criminal issue.

I agree with that regarding Sarah vs. Xander staying in town. Sometimes I am surprised Xander is still viable. It will be interesting to see a Xarah story written by a new team because as I said I think LG especially gets thrown off by the wackiness of some of their plots. Maturity would be a lovely thing for them.

Yeah, I have to agree Xander/Sarah have a strong fanbase. Outside of Ben/Ciara, they are the only younger couple that's had any traction with the audience over the last few years. They also tend to have some of the sillier plotlines (Renee) and LG seems to get fired or leave every other year, so I think that's why the consistency of their story is off sometimes. I still find them rootable for the most part even if I do think they are toxic for each other.

I think Jason pointing to his head and telling Danny we think in our heads was a throw back to Jason's own brain damage. I actually think Steve does play Jason as a damaged character that doesn't take social cues well and thinks people are judging. The writing doesn't play to that often so I appreciated that today.

Please never look that story up for your own mental health lol I don't think LG's styling is flattering for her at all, but if she likes it and feels comfortable I suppose it's fine. I think a Dr. should just look slightly more put together. She doesn't have to wear Marlena blazers but maybe a few less tiny tees and baggy pants.

She's okay. She can be good sometimes and other times I am like what is the energy you are channeling? Ex. the Renee story and her tendency to baby talk. I do think her styling is odd for a Dr. and I don't like her hair at all, but that's just me not liking it. I don't think she's ugly or awful.
