I don't really mind finding the hunks under 30 with a six pack because they are a dime a dozen in Hollywood. But Professor Animal Experimenter does not strike me as being solely focused on fitness in the way that Drew, Jason, Curtis, or even Jax's backgrounds would expect. It's not like iconic characters like Luke, Robert, Alan, or Tony were hitting the gym every night either. Not saying DG's character is iconic, but there was less focus on characters being "hot" at 50 in the 90's whether that's right or wrong. Guza was probably too busy thinking of ways to kill them off.

DG should be able to do whatever he wants if he's comfortable. Not everyone has an amazing 6 pack at 53 lol. Actually, almost no one does. MTS has years on her side (I mean this in a good way). She knows her brand, her styling, and knows the audience doesn't care if she gains 15lbs as long as she serves. She has the confidence these younger girls lack and they shouldn't. But, again, the internet can be very cruel these days.

Lol. DG would have gotten dragged if he showed up in a suit at the pool and now got dragged because he went shirtless. People calling him a vampire and nonsense. Some people are just pale or fair skinned? He's not a ghost or albino or anything. I think wardrobe has a huge sensitivity issue with these actresses and I absolutely get that, but it's still doing a disservice to them by not dressing them properly when they gain a few pounds after having kids or whatever lol. Again, @Contessa Donatella, stop spreading speculation and false rumors. There have been multiple articles where Amanda talks at length about her and her husband's religion and beliefs. She has always practiced Judaism. It doesn't appear that her husband made her join a cult or anything.

I actually get her point to a degree because it's clear she's not as tiny as she was on OLTL and people dragged DG for being pasty and out of shape today, but it's more a distraction than a cover up now. Personally, I would have left the whole modesty/religion/partner situation out of it and just would have tried to find better fitting garments. Because the modesty thing becomes a whole topic now when I probably wouldn't have noticed it that much if she wasn't preaching about respect for her spouse and children.

She wasn't that prudish. I believe it started after she had her children, which is fine, but not right for the role anymore. She's way more conservative than she was on OLTL lol. I totally get priorities change, but wearing a Michael Jackson Bad suit to the Nurses Ball is not a thing lol. Women like Willow, Sasha, Liz, Portia all look professional and fairly modest, but Setton takes to a whole other level.

I mean, I think it keeps JS's job because he should have been dumped a long time ago. But short of killing someone Chase is always in BLQ's corner when there is actual drama to play. Well, Guza loved DZ and JMB so they would of course be front and center. They were a very popular pairing so I don't get it. I will go as far to say that Setton was miscast. Not at first. It sounded great on paper, but her being a practical nun these days makes her just wrong for the part. People's priorities change over time-she shouldn't be guaranteed a life time job because she was good on OLTL 15 years ago.

At this point it feels like JS is the only actor to capitulate and get behind Amanda's demands and beliefs. Chase's only job is to defend Brook Lynn and her stupid actions.

It's all to prop the fake sexy pairing of Brook Lynn/Chase, which isn't where the drama is. That coupling lacks any drama, spice, or intrigue. It's a shame because there isn't really a plan for Dante/Lulu. I guess he will forgive her eventually? Sam's been dead for almost a year. Let's move it along.

It's so odd because you could have dumped Sasha years ago. Frank seemed very devoted to the character. Perhaps to make room for Kelly T.? The Willow/Sasha rivalry could have played out longer. Strange way to end the character, but I won't be losing sleep about it lol. I liked Sasha as well. I didn't love her or anything, but I thought she was just a nice, decent character to have around in a good age range to move her to different stories, but whatever.

The show has tried to make Sasha relevant for years. They finally did and gave her a possible romance and a child with Michael and now they dump her? It's kind of funny actually. Who's going to cook for the Q's? Olivia better get back in the kitchen lol.

Another pasty/fair skinned person chiming in. Self-tanner looks weird on me, so that may be DG's case too. It might look worse than his regular coloring. DG isn't really my type of guy, but he's not grossly out of shape or ugly. He's not CM in his 50's, but who is? If DG is comfortable, I am fine with it. It's honestly better than certain characters dressing in head-to-toe business suits at the pool.

I forgot about the Cassadine connection. Ron's storytelling with the Liesel/Madeline family was just reveal on top of reveals. Someone would be related to someone and then a week or two later it was 'but, wait! There's more!'. Making them Cassadines would have been idiotic, but whatever they did in the end with that group was so confusing and useless. As usual, Ron got way too excited over Donna Mills, Kathleen Gati, and Michelle Stafford to even think about logic. I still maintain Nathan and Chase are the same character and I like Nathan/Maxie more than anything else Maxie got post-Spinelli.

Nathan was not technically Nina's brother but actually Liesel's son. Madeline adopted/raised him.......I think. Yes, Maxie's dead ex. Father of James.

I think it's because Madeline (born Magda-I know) tried to leave Liesel/her family and her life in Switzerland behind and intentionally lost her accent through the years. Nathan and Nina were raised in the states and, well, I don't care about Britt so I don't know about that. I am just going to imagine Kelly T. doing some sort of European accent and be glad I didn't have to hear that😂 Actually, imagining Donna Mills, Michelle Stafford, and Ryan Paevey trying to do accents is the stuff that nightmares are made of as well.

It's probably the way DT plays Curtis, but it almost feels like he enjoys holding this over Portia's head and now what he says goes. Idk, I never liked the pairing so I could be skewed in the way I view it. It's a great way to start a murder mystery. Nina's secret just needs to come out so everything can start coming together. Like I said, I really think Curtis likes holding another secret over her head. The betrayal! Just get out Portia! Find a man you don't have to be perfect and lie to so you can be with him without worrying the other shoe is going to drop every minute.

Yeah, I don't think Brook Kerr necessarily plays it weak, but more backed into a corner and a bit stupidly. She needs to come up with a smarter plan instead of being so reactionary. Go to Michael. Go to Tracy. Use your big brain! And, frankly, give up on Curtis. His judgey behavior isn't worth her time.

I don't mind Portia going dark or even staying a heroine. I just don't think she's going about this Drew stuff the right way. Drew really can't expose Portia without exposing himself to some degree. I hate her acting powerless.

Drew had the same idea I did last week about setting Michael up with an opioid addiction. It would have been diabolical if Willow thought of it. Everything else was pretty boring although I liked Sasha/Nina and Nina/Curtis. Portia is just on my last nerve. Is she planning on being under Drew's thumb forever and ever? She's better off coming clean at this point and salvage whatever she can.

That's where we differ. Holly/Doug 3 were never a couple. Ari/Doug 3 are at least sort of a pairing. Holly and Tate are back together, so any scheming or destroying of a relationship would be on Holly's part at this point. Besides it looks like the two girls barely care and are both going to drop kick Doug when they get out of the kidnapping situation lol. Joy would bring a different dynamic to Stephanie/Alex. She doesn't even have to scheme, but just try to hide the pregnancy paternity from Alex. Plus, there are interesting places to go with Phillip, Brady, Xander, Johnny, Chanel, Belle, etc because these people either have a past with Chloe or Joy has a past with them. Alex, Xander, Johnny all working at Titan with her could be interesting. Anyhow, I have given more thought to Joy than the writers did, but I still think she's a character worth bringing back at some point and very different from Arianna.

I don't think Joy/Ari are redundant. Joy could have moved into the Titan storyline because Phillip gave her a job. Phillip could have pretended to be the father or Joy could have found out about Phillip's secret. Her and Phillip could work together to break up Alex/Stephanie, etc. Ari has her own story with the teens. I do agree Joy was most likely brought in at the wrong time and a casualty of writer changes, but I think Joy/Ari could easily exist on the canvas together.

You are probably right. It looks like AlexAnn Hopkins was only on the show for 5 months lol. I don't think I even had time to fully form an opinion on her. I didn't hate Joy. The show pivoted her from Johnny and Chanel to Alex and the whole thing was a waste. I just think if you are going to make her pregnant by Alex-use that. Otherwise, Joy could have left town and been reset as a character to come back later on. Now she's tied to Alex (assuming she continued with the pregnancy).

I don't know why the show didn't keep Joy around. I assume the show wanted every trace of body & soul gone and I suppose she wasn't terribly popular, but there's at least built in drama having Joy pregnant with Alex's baby. It's better than a romance novel story. And, yes, Stephanie has never had a decent story since Abigail Klein took over. Abigail Klein is more interesting playing herself on the old Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader show lol.

Carnes is definitely lower energy, but I can still see him playing those scenes just differently. Van and Ryan have such opposite takes on the character of Lucas it's almost hard to compare. I actually think both performances work though. Van is still hit or miss for me on the emotional stuff, although I thought he was good yesterday. And, no, there is no reason for Lucas to pull out a gun or threaten violence. He's not that character. It's hard for me to imagine Rory's Michael ever loving Willow. Speaking of Willow does she ever actually work at the hospital? She spent her shift fighting with Lucas, talking to Isiah, creeping on Michael and Sasha, then collapsed into a heap in Drew's arms. She doesn't seem to do any nursing lol. Well, I am not on Sidwell's side. They both suck. I find Sidwell more annoying than Sonny though.

Very morbid. There was no emotional stakes to have her casket there without anyone at the memorial, so why bother? I agree. Lucas did look a bit desperate, but I think of him as a normal character. He's not going against the mob everyday even if he is aware of Sonny's business. That's how a regular person should react to that craziness.

Am I the only one disturbed all these random conversations are happening in front of Natalia's casket at her memorial? I mean, no one liked the character, but that just seem highly inappropriate from a human standpoint.
