It's strange to me because I think Donnell Turner is charming and super handsome. He does nothing for me as Curtis though. I am not sure what he wants. Just a pairing with a white woman? Curtis gets a lot of airtime, he has 2 love interests, and has an entire family. It's not like he's on the sidelines waiting for a story. And it feels like Brook Kerr does all the heavy lifting here-and to an extent even Tanisha Harper who at least looks like she's trying. Curtis just looks bored and annoyed. I wouldn't want to be with that man. He just seems grumpy lol.

I think you have a valid point, and I get where you are coming from. IMO, at least he stepped away instead of sleepwalking through the next ten years, which he probably could have. He played the part for a decade and a half. I think most of us have had to stay at jobs longer than we wanted to because we had to pay bills. That's not excusing his behavior, but I can at least understand it when he lays it out.

I honestly don't know if Donnell has been doing it recently. It was just his thing for a long time. He wants a Genie pairing. He was also very pro to a Nina or Hayden (at the time) pairing. I don't know if he thinks it will get Curtis more airtime, but I think he already gets a lot of airtime. I don't like Portia that much. I think she's still ill-defined. She just keeps secrets to keep secrets without much rhyme or reason. I don't care much about Natalia either but it's hilarious we went from 0 to 100 on the character in a month.

If DT didn't try to pimp the Laura pairing at every turn and also advocate to be paired with Nina-I'd be nicer. You have Brook Kerr in front of you and you barely care. I do have to laugh over how the show was like Natalia isn't evil to full on Natalia is a drunk, delusional mess without any progression from point A to B.

I see Chad at Y&R in under a year. I don't know what my take should be on Natalia. Is she just really drunk or did she think Sonny was serious? Like, sure, Natalia you and Sonny are going to live in Belize together. You didn't even get an offer to THE ISLAND, crazy.

It's literally like the show is listening to the audience (LOL NOT) and half-heartedly putting this romance together. They care as much as Maurice Benard does at this point. Umm..Donell Turner is just waiting for the Laura pairing that will never happen. Natalia must realize Sonny has married, impregnated, and divorced women in the time he was her friend. He's not interested. I don't think Chad will be back at GH any time soon, but if I was a future employer at a soap I would appreciate the honesty. It's probably not how anyone hires anymore. But saying, hey, this wasn't working for me anymore and I needed a change goes a long way in my book as a performer.

Lol. Maybe if Gio delivered it to her shirtless. It would be cute if you were 25 and trying to win over a crush. The man is 60, has 1000 kids, and has been married 50 times. Looks like a winner to random ADA girl to me!!

Why did I have to watch Sonny flirt with this woman over a baseball glove? I am eyerolling on Brenda's behalf from my couch. Natalia drinking whiskey/wine? while recounting Sonny's bad financial decisions was kinda fun-even if Brook Lynn was dressed like a fern. Like Sonny you've been doing this for about 40 years now, why are there accounting errors? I am so confused as to why Natalia thinks Sonny is in love with her lol. At least she's gonna go out in style I guess. Carly's dress was hideous. I know LW loves to go braless and wild out, but that was more of a beach dress rather than a church dress. Amanda Setton could give her modesty tips. Portia, on the other hand, looked fabulous. I don't love Portia, but Brook Kerr does do good work. Curtis is sucky and a hypocrite.

I am not a huge Chad fan, but it was obvious he was more talented than the work he was putting out toward the end. I actually respect him more for openly admitting it-and leaving.

The only thing keeping me going with Mansi's Kristina is how much I liked her Abby. I agree with whoever posted Mansi is too intense. I am not saying Lexi could play this better, but she had a more naive and almost fresher approach to Kristina. Lexi's Kristina did stupid things in a flighty, silly way while Mansi's Kristina is laced with selfish bitterness. There is absolutely nothing rootable about Kristina and I do feel bad for Mansi. At this point she'd be better off going back to Days. Also, I thought that scene last week with Willow was hilarious too. You know if Kristina is looking at you like you are a nutcase, you're crazy.

Correct. I don't even know why she was homophobic. I assume it was based off religion, but she is a twice divorced woman that has multiple DWI's* and never seemed religious? She rarely spoke about her faith. *not saying divorced women with an alcohol problem can't be religious, it's a just a weird narrative choice for a TV show.

It's a headscratcher they hired Eva for THIS part in the first place. I suppose you can assume there were bigger plans for Blaze that fell apart for whatever reason. I just don't know why they kept the homophobic mother and doubled down on that with Marco. You are correct. There was an easy way out for the character. If you have someone as famous as ELR you should at least give it all a try. Have her and Sonny give it a go, try to reform her, make Sidwell a serious threat to her, show her descent into alcoholism, etc. Instead Natalia just lingered for a year plus and then became an alkie overnight. I doubt Natalia would have ever become a popular character, but if you have ELR there you should use her.

It was pretty funny at the time too, not gonna lie. Sasha's entire purpose on the show is to have tragedy, get gaslit, or get duped by someone. The character has been through so much torture.

I really think it depends on how bitter Frank is he had to recast Lulu in the first place. I thought they just hired Kelly back for Steve to be honest. I thought Natalia and Sonny would at least kiss goodbye. That still doesn't give her a purpose, but at least I could put it in a box of a failed Sonny romance. I still don't know why Natalia has to move to Belize over a 2nd DUI, a fairly mainstream crime, while murders run the town lol. At least send her to rehab or something. There's pointless and there's we have to move you to another country because you suck pointless. No loss, but yikes, what a waste of space. Sorry Eva.

I don't really read spoilers or anything, but I think that's where this is going. GH loves a baby/paternity story forever and ever. Listen, I barely got through Natalia's goodbye tour yesterday and she's in the previews for today. THIS SHOW.

Correct lol. I am admittedly not a writer and am not that creative, but Britt carrying Rocco seems like no big deal unless they are setting up the fact she might be his biological mom. But, again, Lulu and Dante raised him and he doesn't know Britt (except peripherally) so that would be slightly shocking for him I suppose. I don't think it would change his feelings about his parents. IRCC, Britt said it was Patrick's child, so I guess there could be some angst there with Emma if that's true. There just really isn't any point without Patrick/Robin to play out the re-write of a re-write.

Well, tbh, I hadn't thought that far ahead lol. I think there's a chance Dante is very pro-life. I remember Lulu being very nervous to tell Dante about her abortion when they started dating. I just think that's slightly more dramatic than Britt was your incubator for 9 months. Rocco shouldn't care about that at all.

It would be evil to tell Rocco about Lulu's abortion, but there could still be conversation around it. Brook could say Lulu didn't even try to have the child and I did and gave it up for adoption-not saying I agree with that take or anything. Rocco doesn't have to be deeply religious to be upset about that minor bombshell. I don't know why Rocco would care that dumb Britt was a womb for him. He doesn't even know her and she's not his mom. All of this was done with Lulu and Dante's consent so they have 0 fault here.

I think it would be interesting if Brook Lynn exposed Lulu's abortion, but that would probably be too villainous. Both Charlotte and Rocco were born in wonky ways so I am not sure why Rocco's conception/birth is more important than Charlotte's. Probably because Rocco is the cooler kid, but I don't think GH agrees with me on that lol.

Lol! Andrew/Paul's suits are way more interesting than Sophia's baby!!! The adoption stuff is silly though. No one but Sophia seems to have any sense of urgency about finding parents. Brady is telling Melinda not to help, but Tate nor Brady are helping the young girl find a home for the baby. I know it's probably leading to Tate wanting to keep the baby, but I just end up feeling bad for Sophia because no one is helping her set up the process correctly. Are there no adoption agencies in Salem?

I felt the same. The ties didn't bother me, but I was thinking it just opens up comparisons between Paul and Andrew's bodies. I can't say I have been to tons of same sex weddings, but I have never seen anyone match. It's a cute idea and both look handsome. Like you said the suit fit wasn't the greatest.

I actually do think Portia gets slightly slanted writing. I feel like we should be on Jordan's side. While I don't think Jordan's done anything wrong, her innocent act is a bit silly. Girl, Curtis is your ex-husband, not your bff. Both CURTIS and Jordan should chill out here and not hang out together.

Paul/Andrew's wedding was great and you all know I love Paul, but how did everyone feel about the matching suits? I forgot to ask yesterday. I am not sure if it was adorable, cringe, or somewhere in between. I think I would have preferred them not matching.

Paul's job seems a lot more fluid and adaptable than Andrew's, but Shane did offer Paul a job at the ISA at the end of the day so it's fine. But I thought the ISA was more covert so you should live regular lives not in DC to keep the cover going.

So, why does Andrew have to live in DC, but people like Shane, John, Steve, etc. can live where they want when they are ISA operatives?
