Makes sense. I was thinking Kate might have started on the board when Victor was in a coma and just continued to be on it. I know there was a Toscano foundation for Isabella, so you would assume John and Victor were on the board and perhaps let Brady take over? I can't remember if Stefano/Andre/Tony were ever interested in the hospital, but I would bet they were at some point. I don't know why EJ thinks Brady OR Kate would vote in his favor, especially after he threatened Kate and her sons.

I thought it might be either a Victor or Dimera thing. Both seem plausible. I just don't know why Kate would care about the hospital much lol. It would obviously be a conflict of interest for her to vote either way, but so would Brady's vote. I am overthinking it lol.

They said Kate was on the board too. I am confused if that's all new developments or we always knew that. I really have no idea why Kate would be on the hospital board.

I actually like Alex/Gabi. I didn't mind JJ/Gabi, but I agree JJ is a bore. I am confused as to why Brady is on the hospital board? Something to do with Isabella, I assume? If Rachel is the shooter the recast makes a bit more sense.

I tend to ignore the fact you like Tanisha Harper. She just blends in. When she comes on screen I literally mind drift and think what I want for lunch. Melgar's Lily at least iconically blew up!!! And once you know she's going to explode LM is tolerable in rewatch. It's coming!! Half the young people in town call him "Uncle Sonny" or, well, "Dad" lol. You know Emma's going to be on that bandwagon.

Much like I always say Tanisha Harper is very pretty, so was Lilly Melgar. Very pretty lol. She wore very cute slip dresses that young carolineg adored lol. She's probably not even a bad actress. Lily (the character) had 0 charisma and when you are working with 90's Mo and Vanessa, and, uh...Ricky Martin you need some spark. People can have friends of all ages and I am not age shaming Anna or Finola, but Jason/Sonny are your daughter's friends. My mother isn't friends with my friends or at least doesn't actively hang out with them lol. Yeah, I don't really care if Emma has scenes with Sonny. I am just waiting for her to bust out the "Uncle Sonny" nickname.

After playing Lily Rivera with the personality of a wet dishrag, the bar was low for Melgar lol. Anna/Sonny is even stranger to me. Sure, he helped Robin out a lot 30 years ago, but Anna and Sonny don't have any real history. Anna can tolerate both Sonny/Jason for her daughter's sake. She does not need to be friendly with either. Anna's character has taken a real hit with all the Valentin things as well. Have Emma and Sonny interacted yet? I can't remember.

Oh, I didn't know that about Melgar. She's not a GH alum I particularly follow obviously lol. I remember she had a brief period of relevance when she did that web soap and people were saying she was a good actress. Not on GH lol, but that's for the classic thread. It's just too much of a friendship. They can be pals or co-grandparents or whatever, but Laura should not like Sonny THAT much. And who in life blathers on about how much they enjoy one another's friendship for multiple days/episodes? Lol. The part of the audience that likes Sonny (myself included) should know Sonny sucks and just accept it. He's an awful human and I hate him 90% of the time but I like him 10% more than anyone on this board lol. I don't need Laura or anyone in town to prop him up to me and I doubt people that dislike Sonny would be convinced to like him just because Laura apparently has horrible taste in friends and husbands, but I digress.

With my luck Frank would probably bring Lily back from the dead and pay Lilly Melgar to do a cameo with Sonny instead though. 😂 Seriously, I know I am late to the party, but why are Sonny and Laura bff? They've always been friends or friendly although I never considered them to be super-duper close. I always thought Laura mostly tolerated him for Luke's sake. The way the show is pretending they've had this decades long tight knit friendship is just weird and OTT.

Sonny looking down at the floor today and for a few episodes is worse. LW at least brings energy and Steve seems engaged. I would cut Mo at this point. The love fests with Laura and on and on with everyone. Just go find Brenda off screen and beg for her forgiveness. THX, BYE!

Carly is 100% part of way too many stories. We are all pretending like Laura Wright is bringing something new to the table as Carly. Laura Wright is serviceable and has great hair, but she's not Sarah Brown or anything. She's fine and I like her but she's not doing anything special as Carly. She's just floating around currently.

Rachel doesn't bother me as much because she's a demon spawn. Felicity is strange on this. It's not like she grew up with Cat, knows Chad well or really has any invested stake in the romance at all.

I really like Tracey and Jason scenes so I think I am a weirdo. Carly/Lulu were actually pretty good as well, but Carly's dress was some sort of bondage/leather type situation? It was a strange wardrobe choice lol.

Yeah, I don't really love Felicity being used to push the Chad/Cat agenda. I don't get the question on Xander's behavior either. He was wrong and offensive. I like Xander. I think Paul Telfer is great. If Marlena did the same thing I would say she's wrong too. Characters are imperfect and that's fine.

He is a 40 year old large grown man "raising his voice" and calling a teenage girl "careless". That's inappropriate. I am not going to argue at the octave of his voice although I would consider it yelling. Felicity was visibly upset. She also has special needs, but it would be wrong to do that to anyone in general. Xander was out of line. He didn't immediately apologize or admit he was wrong until Princess Sarah was okay. Idk, go find your wife's epipen instead of berating a young girl. Or, you know, Sarah could have asked if there was any pistachio in her scone as a pre-caution. That's how most people with allergies that severe order things. I do think this story or plot point is silly, but acting like Xander did nothing wrong is just strange. Even if Felicity DID do something wrong was he just going to continue to go on and on while his wife was going into shock? That's the proper reaction lol.

Xander was screaming at Felicity. He did do something wrong. Felicity was clearly upset by it and Cat/Chad told him to stop. That's fair. No one deserves to be yelled at their job-and even I think this plot point is too preachy. It's not acceptable behavior for anyone to do that.

I swear this entire time I thought Roman knew about the Phillip/Vivian letter lol. I do like how mature Roman/Kate are as a couple. It makes me sad the new writers never got a chance to write for John/Marlena. I agree with @AbcNbc247 that the Felicity stuff is a bit after school special-y. I am pretty sure that (most) of the viewing audience is aware that a grown man should not be shouting at any teenage girl especially one with disabilities. Just let Xander apologize and move on. Linsey Godfrey was in her Sarah baby voice mode today and it irritates me to no end. I know it's a cutesy thing her and Xander do but it's annoying. Bringing Kevin back is strange, but I do like the use of history. I do think Rex probably could have been used instead, but whatever. I don't care about Rex much either lol.

I think Joss does know the material and maybe just plagiarized some of Emma's data? Despite all her actions I do think the show pretends Joss is smart and this class is sort of in her new wheelhouse as a degree. Gio playing Carmen was super high pitched to me. He's a talented musician but that was screechy lol. TBH, we all know I love Sonny to a fault, but I would rather stare at Rebecca Herbst's opening picture for an hour than listen to Sonny and Jason blather on about giving up the mob. You can't even try to fake me out at this point.

Yes, I would agree that she has some rights to tell Dante because it's their son's brother and it's very unfair Dante never knew. The whole scenario is odd to me because I don't know why Dante or Olivia were kept in the dark in the first place. I think Dante would have absolutely accepted Brook Lynn's choice. I can see Olivia possibly having some issues with it, but she never got the option to react either.
