  1. It does remind me a bit of Brenda and Lucky's returns. But they were characters the audience actually cared about, so the isolation wasn't as awful as watching Britt throw tantrums. Or hit on "married" men like she did today. And believe me it becomes an A plot right as of right now.
  2. Sophia's actions make no sense. Obviously, the actress is very weak, but no part of her "plan" works. MK's Sophia was a bit of a vixen with some ulterior motive's while Rachel Boyd's Sophia comes off pathetic. She basically had a golden ticket with the baby (even if it's Aaron's) because it's clear Tate has some affection for Sophia. Sophia needs a recast and a new personality to be a viable spoiler for Holly/Tate.
  3. I think I recall Luke saying Foster died as well. Luke was kinda a downer. The dog story was silly-ish. But it provided some levity in a heavy Labine era. I don't think the minor dog story took away any potential airtime from Wyatt. It's was like 10 mins a month lol. Wyatt's time on the show just didn't match the era anymore. Although I am sure others would disagree. No disrespect for Sean/Tiffany, but they did feel slightly dated in the 90's. ETA-I am not saying you couldn't find story for Sean/Tiffany, but I felt their story concluded very naturally and the characters just moved on.
  4. I wonder what happened to Courtney's cute dog that disappeared after Jason gave it to her in 2002. Everything about Britt's entire existence is stupid and that's all I'll say for today. Stealing embryos is obviously illegal and gross, but it's not like Britt cared about the actual human she was stealing.
  5. I am not much of a dog person at all, but a silly dog story reminds me of the Foster/Annabelle side story in the 90's. They were part of the Faces of the Heart 90's credits!! Actually, Lulu would have gotten bonus points if she mentioned Foster. Tbh, Foster/Annabelle had a more believable love story than 90% of the current love stories with humans on the cast today lol. The Britt/Liesel story about Rocco is insane. It was never once about Britt wanting a child. It was a manipulation tactic to get Patrick. It wasn't some poor woman desperate to have a child.
  6. It's probably Sidwell or something, but I feel like we haven't seen JPS lately and it's about time for him to grab some quick cash from GH.
  7. If Britt's boss is Valentin I will lose it lol.
  8. I'll be honest and say I actually don't know what I'd do with Carly. Most of you guys are much more creative than I am. The only thing I can think of is something traumatic happening to her or someone around her and then leaving town for 6-12 months and coming back reset as a character. Perhaps with a new love? Because when she's on the show Carly talks about changing and being out of the "life", but immediately reverts back.
  9. Agreed about Carly. With all the talk about how much this regime loves Carly the writing is giving her very little. She's basically a supporting character in other people's stories with a C pairing that gets 10 minutes every 2 weeks lol. Jason is probably my least favorite out of the trio, but I still have some affection for 90's Jason, so I'd be adaptable to a good story for him.
  10. The whole Jason return went off the rails very quickly. Whether it was the BTS changes or lack of plan, it's been a flop. As Vee stated, the show is paying Steve way too much money to be supporting. It seems like Steve is finally at a place where he is willing to play stories out with his family and the show is wasting that potential to bring on Britt. There is no way that Britt/Jason leading the show will bring viewers in. It's a shame because this pairing will eventually flop too since Britt has the depth of a puddle and is an all-around unlikeable character. I still think Jason is way less played out than Sonny or Carly and that there are other options for him.
  11. I actually blame the show more than I blame Steve/Jason or any woman on the canvas. While the show didn't need Jason back, that's not really Steve or Jason's fault. The show's only plan for Jason seemed to be pairing him with LW's Carly-something that had failed a few years ago. There wasn't a plan B. Like Jason or not, Steve has always been able to generate popular pairings with his co-stars not named Laura Wright. The writers just gave Jason two of the strangest options-his ex-girlfriends mom or boring Sasha. You could have tested Jason with Ava, Nina, or even Lois (sorry @Vee). It's also not like there isn't a popular Jason love interest right there on canvas for him in Liz, but the show won't go back there. So now we get the crazy, back from the dead Britt story that will eventually fade out as a last ditch effort. I'll go as far to say I actually think it was a mistake to kill Sam off so early into Jason's return.
  12. From a woman who was once engaged to Bryan Craig and has quit 3 or 4 time "forever" this does not surprise me lol. She obviously makes great personal choices.
  13. I'd do something totally crazy like have Willow drug Michael with opiates and pretend to sleep with him. While leaving the Q mansion Chase catches her. He's drunk because he and Brook Lynn got into another fight about a baby and Willow seduces him. Willow gets pregnant, tells Michael he's the dad, but also blackmails him about the opiates. Michael, thinking he did take the opiates and slept with Willow gives her some form of custody, maybe even contemplates a reunion. Willow loses the baby, but someone inadvertently finds out its Chase's. Chaos ensues! Brook/Chase breakup, Michael gets his kids back, and Willow goes off to the looney bin or jail for awhile. A lot of details would have to be figured out, but I want maximum destruction from Willow.
  14. Okay. How would that help Willow's agenda at all? I don't mind if breaking up BLQ/Chase is her only agenda, but I'd rather some nutty scheme that Willow thinks will help her get her kids back. What are your ideas to play that story out?
  15. It was hard for me to tell from today's scenes. EJ had no hesitation revealing that information, so I was thinking it may have been his plan all along if the trial wasn't going Johnny's way.
  16. It seems so soon after the Sasha/Michael ONS baby, but GH loves a time wasting baby story lol.
  17. I actually had the same thought.
  18. Do we think it was EJ's plan all along to expose he and Belle's relationship to try to cause a mistrial? Is that why he got her on the case to begin with? Or did he just get mad at her today? It's all really silly honestly. EJ/Belle being in a relationship is less of a conflict of interest than the fact Johnny is her nephew!
  19. Kirsten appeared as Maxie today, so there's that. Brooklyn was in a short sleeve top and a mini-skirt!!! Stop the presses! She looked good today. Chase-shut up! No one asked your opinion. I am unclear why Willow can't treat ADA lady with a twisted ankle. She has nothing to do with anything except she's sitting next to Sonny on a couch. If CrazyWillow slipped some digitalis her way I wouldn't mind either. Carly's reasoning that she can't go against Liesel because she saved Willow's life and is her grandkids great aunt is just ridiculous. Nina and Drew are much more closely related to her grandchildren and she has no problem ruining them at any given time lol. In the end Carly saw the light, but there shouldn't have even been a discussion. Carly is usually, 'did someone say revenge'? 'How can I help'? ๐Ÿ˜‚ Also, I thought Havins was great today and I feel for Lulu. I also love the entire erasure of Charlotte because now Rocco is #1.
  20. I don't really see a need for a Sami recast. There are definitely times I think Sami is missing in stories, but perhaps the show could work around Ali's schedule better? She seems willing to return, so maybe some organization on both Days and her part would be helpful since they film 6 years in advance lol. I would recast Allie, bring Sydney in, and at some point recast* Nicole to fill the gap. *I obviously would prefer Ari, but it's highly unlikely she will return and I assume the lawsuit will be settled eventually.
  21. Yeah. It's the same old thing. The one time he was real was when he broke up with Brenda in 2011 and said this is how it is. I am not leaving the mob. I love power. Like, okay, small self-awareness. But then the show reverted back to the same old song and dance more awkward and annoying every time.
  22. It was outdated by 2002
  23. It's so uncomfortable. It's stilted and awkward and I think Steve Burton unintetionally made a WTF? face while watching them interact. But that could just be SBu's default face at this point in his return.
  24. Yes, AJ the loser. Sonny/Jason are really such winners lol. Who needs AJ? He's not important at all๐Ÿ˜‘ So ADA brunette lady with Sonny makes me almost tolerate Kelly Thiebaud scenes. She's that awful. I wish all the previous DA's that fell for Sonny's charm would perform some sort of intervention on this woman to advise her to just leave immediately so I don't have to watch it.
  25. The aging makes everything really difficult, but I think all the things we saw with Sarah like her exposing Neil/Maggie's affair, her vaguely trying to set it up like she and Neil were having an affair when she didn't know it was her dad still exist. So her being almost an adult when she left is how it stands unless there is some sort of specific rewrite. Much like Sami kidnapping Belle is brought up or EJ being passed off as Kristen's kid was just brought up. It sounds strange because of the actor's ages, but I think the narrative still remains.
