That's completely up to you but its absolutely fair game and there are a number of people who feel the same way I do. Just because this thread and this board in general has a good love of hive mind mentality and belittling those who dont share the exact same love of XYZ that doesn't mean I'm going to be intimidated by the childish behavior and all of sudden start LOVING Game of Thrones despite it's sex and violenced fueled nonsense and the fact that they don't understand how to adapt a book without destroying it. Because I believe (and the ratings data most of the time supports this argument) that a lot of the viewers are just young guys in a certain age range who couldn't give a toss about the dialogue or sets or the meanings behind certain scenes snd characters thats the reason you find it "impossible to take me seriously"? Yeah sure go right ahead and I will continue to post my thoughts and feelings on the episodes which I know are based on analysis of the episode and not just pure blind hatred of the show or its writers. For every good character/arc they have (the Red Viper last year) there's s million others they botch or make up entirely that has no real value or meaning behind it. The difference just lies in how much I care about these things. And I have yet to tell anyone to "stop" watching a television show just so I don't have to hear their opposjng viewpoint.

Be offended if you like but you know that was directed at you personally and frankly I limited my critique to the story lines snd plot holes at first. It wasn't until certain people felt the need to belittle my problems with the show because I omg read the books and think they a million times better that I looked at why the writers don't care. The show for the most part is terrible in terms of substance. If not for the gargantuan budget, HBO's massive marketing campaign, and the legion of soft core and violence loving addicts out there the show would not be the hit it is today. Is everyone who watches it the same exact type of person? Of course not. But a very large amount of them are.

But that's just it...aside from attacking me because I dare to criticize the writers and the show itself I haven't seen any criticism pointed at the show. I realize what a gravy train its become for all those involved and to me its just based on the fact that they the audience is simple and just wants gore, sex, more torture scenes, etc etc. And its fair game to call the writers useless. Its my evaluation of their writing skills. Their plotting skills. The way they execute storylines, etc. GRRM himself had plenty of talent and the 5 books he's written so far have been great. But like most things and people in life he's been corrupted by the money and more specifically HBO. Its not a great crime for me to say he's greedy and if I feel that way I will state it. Those spoilers are truly disturbing but not surprising DRW50....I wonder how they're gonna make that happen.

Who is this stank b*tch who tried to set up poor Belle when it came to that baby? I hate her so much. I don't get why she's so against that guy spending time with his family. She's disgusting and miserable.

LoL I'll admit they could have done something more with Tyrion but given his state of mind in the books I found his journey completely believable and understand why Martin did what he did in Book 5 for him...

I'm sure they're all fawning over the new season. Its just amazing how because its amassed such a large audience it inherently cannot be critqued fairly by anyone. I have yet to see a single reputable site actually admit that the show isn't Gods gift to Earth or that it has flaws. Instead the lead sentence on the Atlantic article is that it "fixes" the "failings" of the fourth and fifth book. What a load of bullsh#t. Just because the latter two books don't have a massacre or a sex orgy doesn't mean that they are any less great or engaging. If anything I love the latter 3 more than the first two. Esp 5 which really has a lot of build up.

I don't accept that! Robert versus his further Mother in Law aka Chas is so crazy good. The emotional back and forth. This is what soaps used to be like. Poor Alicia....Lochlan is quickly becoming despicable to the point where I want the character dead.

Damn Ste definitely just insulted and burned any bridge he had with John Paul....PURRFECT...and so true tho. John Paul is sorta boring compared to Brendan. That doesn't mean I liked Brendan at all but if Ste enjoys being beat up by that sketchy ugly weird guy then go for it. Leaves John Paul free and clear for Harry.

I was kinda shocked though to be honest. Like I expect that ish with Luann and the rest of the ladies cuz Sonja has never ever really pretended like they're deeply connected or whatever. But Ramona was supposed to be her ride or die chick. And it was only Ramona who tried to get the stupid lady to understand she was falling off the rails without talking ish behind Sonja's butt. I LOVE Dorinda so far. She was so perfect as a caring friend in her convo with Ramona. Betthenny has been hilarious and very real and I find her refreshing. I wish she and Luann weren't friends tho but I understand shes over the petty stuff.

I really don't get this "mental block" or whatever in Aaron's mind. Its like he knows that Robert is married. Yet everytime reality barges in he acts like he's shocked that Robert can so easily go back to pretending.

Are they gonna bring back Step by Step and Family Matters while they're at it? The show was so corny though but I'm sure there's a part of America who will embrace it. It will be interesting to see if they retain the cheesy feeling of the original or will they try to "modernize" the show to reflect the times....

Betthenny and Ramona's taglines are nice. Heathers delivery is very good and holla isn't quite as bad as I thought it might be. Weak ass Kristin is pathetic as usual. And that little gypsy sash she has around her waist is basic as hell. Dorinda's hair is kinda weird in her shot. Curious to see how she does. It can't be worse than Kristin.
