I still don't know if that is indeed Eric Kane. I can't wait to find out. 😁 And about AW... I think someone who knows her (MDP) history on that show can help us with that question. I, myself, have only seen 5 of her AW episodes and they were million times worse than anything under her name on AMC.

Yup. That's why some days I gasp when I catch Steffy fans slut-shaming Hope circa 2025. If you are going to stan a character that was doing the exact same (even more hardcore if you ask me) stuff that you are condemning another character for... Then you can't make me take your opinion seriously. I am even starting to think that a lot of these people have not watched the OG JMW Steffy. They are new fans from the last couple of seasons. They really don't know the history and what they are talking about. And I'm gonna say something very honest now. Steffy used to be fun. I preferred her when she was Brooke wannabe. JMW had that sexy thing that not a lot of actresses possess. And what did Brad Bell do? He made her matronly... Moralistic and quite frankly insufferable. And when all the other so called whores listen to her monologues about them and do nothing about it... Don't defend themselves by using The history of the show and FACTS... That's when I jump the boat. It's offensive for me as a viewer to watch this.

Hope and Steffy are the biggest mess. Mess with a capital M. Prepared to be the new generation of leads... Bradley did a HUGE... mistake and decided to flip their characters 10 seasons in. Steffy, who he originally wrote as the dark-haired Brooke - "slut" with no morals, stealing men and making girls like Hope - cry... and Hope - closer to Taylor and Caroline in terms of characteristics - a character that symbolized RIGHT and goodness and was contrast to her mother's past... All of a sudden, without any build up or prior settings... Bradley decided that he MADE a mistake when decades ago he decided that Taylor's daughter will be a mini Brooke and Brooke's one - a mini Taylor... and said - Fu-ck THAT... Hope's last name is Logan... so from this day forward - she is a slut, a bitch and etc... And Steffy is called Stephanie! After our long gone matriarch... So I'll make her a mini Stephanie - I'll turn this once dynamic character into a moralizing, always sour-faced, always forbidding people BULLY. And this change of dynamics... has led to total chaos.

I'm very happy to hear about season 18! 2005 was no that bad in comparison of what CAME after that. And it had that sweet month-long story of Stephanie's fake heart attack... that I love and adore.

I will second what the other guys said. Vancouver season 1... is the wildest reality show ride... I've been on my entire life. Imagine a Disney villain... but real-life one... and then you have the antagonist of the franchise. It starts with a huge conflict... and there is no calm and boring SECOND.

Oh my God. Now this is the best surprise of the day for me. Thank you soooo much. And yes, the consequtive 1983 episodes end with mid April as I recall.

Btw... This may be unpopular... But I am enjoying couple of days of pause from the show. Why... Because I've been so addicted to it... I've started to neglect personal life... around the time the show is on. I stop answering calls... I ruin dinner by eating later than my husband. So for selfish reasons... I'm happy to breathe and relax for couple of days while I miss my show. How nice it is to have something that you "miss". And... probably the best thing forward for me will be... To adjust and start watching the uploaded versions on the official cbs channel. I had forgotten how hard it is to watch something live. Hard in terms of making it possible every day. We are definitely the streaming generation.

Up to August 8th, 1989. Are they about to flip the script and make it so Erica's dead father is actually alive. Giiiiirl... what the hell is going on. DePriest, bish... what are you doing? I'm not sure if I'm up for this ride, girl. It's caricaturish... bizarre... Yet... somehow I'm still waiting to see what will happen. Susan has been selling this strange material to her best ability, but I've got to be frank... Erica falling down at the circus for Barney to save her... was really over the top... and comically depicted. I've got to give that to the Director. Moving on... The Travis/Barbara story is in a limbo. Jeremy is about to find out what a nasty piece of work Marissa is. I'm here for it! The kidnapper story finished! I WAS RIGHT ALL ALONG! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY! IT WAS KAREN. I will miss my little fox, since I'm sure we'll never see her again probably. She was a wicked clever one! Unintentional funny moment - Erica falls down and loses consciousness. I will say this. As good as JMW is... there is no fixing the disastrous script. These actors deserve so much more. I just can't hear Steffy's tirade and not roll my eyes, because I know the reality of things. Bradley Bell has made a horrible mistake. He made all of the main characters unlikable. Horribly so. Now I don't know how he'll write himself out of this. I am not rooting for anyone. And this is a problem for a soap opera in my opinion.

I am still drifting off while Ashley and Derek are on my screen. I can't lie and say I like them or how they are written. I also appreciate seeing all kinds of points of views. So... I'm not opposed to reading criticism about some aspects of the show. If it's logical, not bigoted and fake criticism, of course. I myself didn't like some of the dialogue in the last couple of episodes. But hey, I'm not worried. This is currently the best show on air. I'm looking forward to next week!
