Didn't Taylor also have some sort of stalker story around the time that she left Eric? I think I remember reading some old recaps about that, but there are so many dropped stories on this show I can't keep up.

I am too! And it's a plus to be able to see classic characters like Carla, Karen, Larry and Ed. I had just given up on being able to see Karen and Larry in South America and the Pat/Maggie storyline and then I finally got to see glimpses of each story!

Zanereed, I love that fanfic! Its a shame it didn't happen. From an Alex-Mike-Lillian triangle to Alan interrupting Alex and Mike's wedding, I loved it!

I didn't watch then, but I am obsessed with that era of the show. It just sounds terrific. But I would've liked for Sara and Mike to have settled down together. They had both been there for over a decade at that point and had many stories connected. They could've become the background of the show.

I was looking at the Wikipedia cast list which I know has some errors, but it says that Mary Ellison Hughes returned in 1993, is that correct? Does anyone know why the actress, Kelly Wood, was originally written out in 1980?

I never understood why they made a reboot and didn't focus on the originals and when they were used, they made it out of place and the show had no direction at all.
