  1. Thanks for sharing those. I really wish they would release some of the classic episodes. The 70s-early 80s and the 90s intrigue me most on this show. Its nice reading about Jill's being insecure about Drucilla and trying to get her fired and demanding to know Nina's intentions with Ryan for Phillip's sake. For some reason, I kind of thought they backed off on Nina's relationship with Jill a while after Phillip's death. Did that continue through the years before Nina left town?
  2. Thanks for sharing that SFK. I had been hoping to see her entire speech. She looks great and her speech was so well written. I get so mad when I think of what could have been with Carla and Ed and Sadie and down the line with Josh.
  3. I just got done watching the first season so I really enjoyed the little reunion. Donna Mills looked great I would love for them to do a reuion special. I was also surprised they didn't mention Larry and kept waiting for it.
  4. That sounds like an amazing story. I would love to see some of Margo's run as well. I didn't realize that Margo's Claudette was the same one who killed Eddie either. I wish they had not killed her off, especially in such a harsh way.
  5. Wow thanks for posting that. Even though their still on the show, I miss this Katherine and Jill.
  6. I'm so happy to hear that. It doesn't feel real for some reason though. I guess because most of the other cast members announced via twitter. I hope this all works out.
  7. I'm trying to figure it out. Not using my computer where I know how to post a link. It shows before I submit the post, but once its posted, the link is gone.
  8. The robotic arm happened in 1985, a result of his 1982 exit. The scenes in this episode have him spying on Karen, wanting to strangle her from behind some bushes, then having a psychological flash or maybe a flashback, it was hard to tell, but well done. Then he hires Claudette (I think that was her name) a hooker who worked with Karen to manipulate her. It was very exciting. The show was more gothic than I had imagined, but its nicely done and I couldn't stop watching the entire episode. Also had Ina Hopkins, Katrina Karr, Anna Wolek, Ed Hall (briefly), Faith Kipling. Its posted by jupitervideovision99 and just titled ONE LIFE TO LIVE.
  9. Thanks ellabelle. I was only half watching at the time thanks to Pratt.
  10. When did that happen? I don't remember it at all.
  11. I'm not sure that it was ever posted here but there is a 1980 episode up on YouTube with a lot of Karen and Ivan. That was the first time I've seen a good chunk of their story and I see why it was so popular. Seeing more of Katrina, I wish she had stuck around.
  12. I keep blocking them out of my memory. I had forgotten what became of the show that summer which is sad and frustrating as they had hit a good stride, IMO.
  13. I don't usually agree with you, but I agree 100% on Amanda Setton/Kim. She was amazing. Losing Kim, Kyle, Fish, Jared, Rachel, etc. Within 5 months hurt the show so badly for me and took another year for me to fully enjoy it. That was by far among the worst casting decisions I have ever seen.
  14. That's okay! Thanks for sharing the video and pointing out the time SFK.
  15. At what point is she on? I went through the video and must have missed it.
  16. Thanks for sharing that. Carla got much more of an exit than I had imagined. I really enjoyed her scenes with Ed, its still such a shame what happened to that family and behind the scenes.
  17. I think I read somewhere that around 1971 they didn't have a Christmas show because they had so much going on as well. I want to say it was the story with Marcy Wade, Steve and Viki. I don't feel like anything on a soap should take away from the holiday episodes though, even if its a sad Christmas.
  18. I wish I could see the Jill-Derek-Kay and Lorie-Lance-Vanessa-Lorie storylines. 1977 seems to be a good year for the show.
  19. She was on for a short while in 1989. I've seen some clips of her at VickRobCal's channel. I think she just faded away.
  20. Did anyone who actually knew Ivan prior to 1985 ever realize that he returned besides Cassie, Rob and the younger set. I know he later worked in the hospital and Jenny realized he was back during the David storyline, but not much was made of it. It seems they wasted some story not playing on his past with Dorian and Larry. I never understand why they brought him back in the first place.
  21. I never would've imagined Robin being autistic. You barely see that on daytime, or television for that matter so I couldn't imagine it in 1968. Also, someone mentioned earlier the Brooke Ames story, how she stabbed her hand and was later killed in a fight with Val. I was wondering what led to this breakdown and her hate for Valerie? And what happened after Val fled the scene after realizing Brooke was dead?
  22. I kind of agree as well. I didn't really want the montages but less focus on Project Orpheus and JR's beakdown would've been nice. I could've accepted Stuart, Dixie and Zach coming back from the dead for whatever reason, even within the three months it happened without an entire project focused on it.
  23. Thanks danfling and hendersonite. I had no idea Marcy had an English accent. The early 70s of Search really intrigues me it seems the show was changing focus a lot.
  24. Wow, thanks for sharing that. A little odd, but an interesting read. Did John Hess decide to leave? Was his time on the show good or bad?
