The story would be boring if she just fell for a younger man. I guess him being underage is the point, and what makes it interesting, as it's controversial which a generic younger man story wouldn't be. I can't wait to see the fallout from it. The actors have done really well with the storyline. Personally I don't understand why there is so much opposition to it, I think people take it too seriously perhaps.

I love Michelle and Preston The Carter money problem storyline is dire, why would Jack, Ian and Vincent play poker with Mick knowing he was in such a dire financial situation?

Yes, unfortunately I agree. I don't see why all the teen guest characters have to be 'bullies'. You'd hope they'd give them a bit more depth. Hopefully we'll learn about him more down the line, the 2 girls are much worse though, I hope they don't end up appearing more frequently. I wonder why the teens are appearing so heavily at the moment. Is SOC attempting to capture a teen demographic? If so, I wonder why. I do think it's a good avenue to go down, I just think they could have done with a less predictable bullying approach and if not, I think adding another 'good' teen to the mix would make it feel a little less bland.

I'm guessing Keegan Baker has been promoted to the regular cast as the actor has put a photo on his Instagram of his dressing room which now has his name on.

I think I'm going to start watching GZSZ regularly again.

I am sad this soap ended back in 2009. I wish I'd had the chance to watch it.

Not at all, I'm a regular on Neighbours forums but I find the opinions of the posters on here very interesting and different to those on other forums, but I'm content visiting the EE thread

I'm not sure what you're referring to. I'd say Neighbours is far superior to the American soaps, I can't deal with the northern accents so I don't watch the northern soaps, I deffo agree with you about Home and Away, it's quite crap to be honest, it's beautifully shot though. If you can you should definitely get your hands on some old H&A. That show needs to do more to try and get some characters/actors to stick around. Shame not more posters on here like Neighbours as I'd be interested to hear your opinions on it, sorry I know I've said that before, if you don't like the show you don't like it, I have to accept it

Surely the Australian soaps have more appeal than the British ones (bar EastEnders of course)

I know you guys probably all know but you can buy episodes of EE on the BBC Store now, I bought Dot and Ethel's 1987 two-hander and Sharon and Michelle's (first) two-hander today. What a wonderful service!

She didn't seem to good on Coronation St. Her accent wasn't too good. I can't deal with the accents on that show as it is let alone someone putting it on really thick. I've pretty much dropped EE at the moment. It's lost it's spark, it was doing quite well in the hands of SOC to begin with.

Home and Away doesn't have any gay characters because the network won't let the producers have any. Its last gay character was a female guest in 2009 who fell in love with Charlie Buckton, an (until-then) straight police-woman. They had a romance for a few weeks before the Joey character was shipped off to another place. I hope the David/Aaron storyline gets going, it's quite interesting. Paige is ok but I don't like her romance with Jack who sucks all the life out of her. He really needs to go IMO. I'd like to see more storylines for Ben (very hot actor), Aaron (who is the strongest gay character they've had but gets sidelined) and Sheila. I'd like Elly to become a total full on bitch we love to hate rather than this sometimes nice sometimes bad elly we get at the moment.

Home and Away is shot really well, it is beautifully shot in fact, and has a very attractive cast. Unfortunately that's where my kind words end. Neighbours is far superior IMO. I find it interesting you think Home and Away is very character driven, I'd say it's the exact opposite. Hunter is extremely hot, hope the actor is gay

It's a shame Cindy was killed off. It must be frustrating when people struggle to get work due to the soap star tag, but is that really the reason she doesn't get work?

The whole Lee story was a mess IMO and gave the message that people with mental health problems are a burden to their loved ones and that they should keep it to themselves. It's probably one of the worst storylines I've ever seen on EE, it actually made me feel quite offended. Obviously people see things differently though. I thought it started well and undid all the hard work starting with the Vic raid.

You should definitely carry on watching, InLoveWithSoaps. For me Neighbours is the best soap I've seen by a long way. Well-written. I don't mind Terese, but she's not a favourite of mine. Nate was alright, I like Aaron's potential new love interest David Tanaka. My avatar as bl said is Angus Beaumont-Hannay played by Jai Waetford of X Factor fame. Shame he left, I loved him! Do you like Tyler/Piper as a pairing, bl?

The thing is just because Preston lives in Florida, doesn't mean he's not from another part of America and just moved there? From what I know of Michelle it's not that much of a jump.

The Michelle story does seem unrealistic but it's the only story on the show that I'm enjoying at the moment. Everything else is boring. As for Preston's accent, I'm glad he's at least attempting an American accent. I'd have preferred an American actor but this is better than the whole Mark debacle.
